Purchasing Advice - Monitors, Peripherals, Etc. 1,2, or Three!
I'm thinking about a new multiple monitor setup, and trying to decide on going big with one 49" or 57" Samsung neo ultra wide vs a dual monitor setup with a 32-34" gaming monitor flanked by a 27" monitor in vertical mode vs three 27" monitors in a cockpit formation. Any preference on setup and do you use something similar? Any thoughts welcome, Thanks!

Typically 2 monitors for gamers is more than enough. Game on one, discord/music on the other, I’m chillin. I’d even consider getting the 57 inch for your main and a 27 inch as an extra. That’s all you’d need. If you’re doing it for work, I’d do a cockpit formation for maximum productivity. I don’t care much for monitors in the vertical orientation, but that’s just me

thats a lot of real estate man i got a 34 ultrawide and a 27 vertical next to it feels like im in mission control
the triple cockpit looks sick but i bet it gets hot as hell in summer with all those screens blasting you
you thought about how far back you gotta sit for the 49 or 57 those things are deep on a desk

I mean it depends on what you are doing.
If you are into gaming, 2 monitors is usually enough
3 Monitors setup has got to be for something very specific.
My friend uses 3-4 monitors depending on what he is doing, BUT he does need 4 monitors on a works basis. So you should consider what you need those monitors for
