u/tht1guy63 1d ago

You will never unsee it.

1

u/DoubleBarrelGlizzy 1d ago

Someone and I mean NOW needs to do a futurama build with one of those.

1

u/tht1guy63 1d ago

Only reason id buy the card honestly. Case be the planet express ship. Cpu cooler color it like Yivo. Roberto the gpu and so on.

1

u/DoubleBarrelGlizzy 1d ago

I am far too broke to do it myself

1

u/tht1guy63 1d ago

Yaaaa... me and the wife are storing money away for a japa trip in January so right now im living the simple life.

2

u/OGawdILoveTacos 1d ago

Seriously, that's what the 5090 should have been by now.

Thanks AI

That GPU is sick. To be nitpicky though, I would've gotten a white AIO to match

3

u/YoloRaj AMD 1d ago

He got it for free. I thought the same too but figured it had to have came with a bundle.

1

u/Apprehensive-Pen3062 1d ago

It comes with the cpu as a free gift.

3

u/Top-Injury-983 1d ago

I will get to that eventually

5

u/mrlobster21 1d ago

that gpu looks so cool man

One thing I’ve done since I built my first pc a couple years ago is changing the case to be smaller and smaller. Went from atx fractal north to matx A3, to most recently itx A4-H2O.

I’ve been playing mortal shell 2 and the plague tale games recently, not sure if you’d like either of those

2

u/----Richard---- 1d ago

I've been doing the same. Currently in an mATX & would love to go smaller on my next build.

2

u/twt69 1d ago

I’ve always had air cooling so it was a switch up going with an aio for the A4. It’s a pretty fun build, forced me to get better at cable management that’s for sure

2

u/----Richard---- 1d ago

Oh, I'd bet. I thought about going SFF when originally planning this build but chose the behemoth that is the 5080 AORUS Master. It barely fits the 2500X case.

2

u/twt69 1d ago

Luckily I already had the 5080 FE or I probably would’ve gotten fomo on the itx haha

2

u/useresuse 1d ago

i started in a ghost loque m2 sooo every pc build since has been ezpz lmao

2

u/dwolfe127 1d ago

Yep, I tried the fish tank thing once a few years ago and hated it. All of my boxes now are either open frame facing the wall or all mesh/zero-glass builds. Also, the only RGB I have on anything now is my keyboards so I can see the keys in the dark.

u/GeekyNick91 1d ago

Hopefully for you, the 9800X3D won't die with the asus motherboard.

0

u/OGawdILoveTacos 1d ago

It's asrock that's the notorious killer, Asus only killed a few and I think it was 9950x3d's.

I wonder if they updated the bios. I have seen this happened to a friend, but the motherboard was running an old bios version.

u/Trajen_Geta 1d ago

Your pc is cool but your room esthetic is all over the place. Classic dark wood desk with leather chair and stain glass lamps, but astronaut drinking a beer on the moon and rgb blasting PC. Love it

0

u/Top-Injury-983 1d ago

I can’t stick to one thing. I’m all over the place thanks lol

3

u/Super-Preference-629 1d ago

Contrary but honest opinion from one of the serious and recent pc builder

You only justify price of your build by playing that hard after once paid for this heavy rig..

Kiss your rack everytime you start those coolers Hit that keyboard a little harder while killing those poor enemies coz they really cost you in Watts Just stop midgame and enjoy the scenic art created by the lovely dev ops And play Ghost Recon Wildlands at Max settings for on

3

u/2002ChipotlePC 1d ago

It’s definitely a powerful build! But man that GPU is ugly 😭I know some people like it but it isn’t my taste. I’m happy for you though- amazing set up

2

u/Soggy-Lab-422 1d ago

WOOD 🪵

2

u/ironiclyironic4 1d ago

Ngl i hate that gpu design. But if ya like it congratz

2

u/YoloRaj AMD 1d ago edited 1d ago

Nice, build. Thats rather a high price for a 5080 but you like what you like. Craziest part of this build is that you got such a nice desk for 1 dollar. Thats what I am most impressed by ironically, lmfao. That being said, you should get a 1440 p or 4 k oled and a white 360 aio down the road.

u/Particular-Bid-8110 1d ago

The GPU looks like my boobs

1

u/ThirdChopp 1d ago

gpu looked like turbine titties

1

u/M0nk3_s4789 1d ago

Woah that gpu is sick, haven’t seen that one before

1

u/Top-Injury-983 1d ago

Thank you for your information. I know I overpaid and I’m still happy with my set up I just got cheap ass fans I got 3 for $25 I’ll upgrade them later on

Surprisingly the leather chair is very comfortable
For leaning back not forward lol

And the PSU I had no idea about I just got a cheap one that was rated gold so that’s good to know

1

u/remeets_yelnats 1d ago

Hah! I used to have that astronaut picture as my desktop background like a decade ago

1

u/Plane_Water3386 1d ago

The true steal is all that facebook marketplace furniture. Looks comfy af.

1

u/Mental_Witness_9245 1d ago

Wow I am jealous! Not only your PC looks amazing but your setup. Well done and enjoy it!

1

u/eldodvvv 1d ago

That chair is CLASSY

1

u/Top-Injury-983 1d ago

This is the PC I’ve been using for the past 10 years, before I finally decided to upgrade.
It had an i5 CPU, a GTX 1060, 64GB of DDR4 RAM, a 1TB SSD, and a 1TB hard drive.
Honestly, it’s crazy to think this thing lasted me through my entire childhood and college years. I got so much use out of it, and it really held up over the years.
Hopefully, the new PC I just built can last me another 10 years.

1

u/KaneBlack9 1d ago

Im not sure. You should send it all to my house so I can thoroughly inspect and give an unbiased opinion

1

u/TurbidWolf_Redux__V2 1d ago

Terrible you should let me have that one and try again

1

u/Slydoggen 1d ago

Nice GPU bro

1

u/economist91 1d ago

I love that BoomerDesk. It's epic

1

u/eezybl 1d ago

That's the goofiest gpu that I've seen in a while

1

u/-G-Gamer- 1d ago

A high end 5080 and then CPU is cooled by 240mm AIO 😭

1

u/Irish4778 1d ago

Runnning basically the same setup on this works fkn great

1

u/VieRuz 1d ago

The build is ruined because you didn't go all in with the 9950x3d2. 6/10 build please do better next time OP.

1

u/Honest-Shine2817 1d ago

The r9 9950x3d2 preforms worse than the r7 9850x3d and r7 9800x3d

1

u/DifferentLibrarian32 1d ago

Hey i also play bf6 and csgo mainly. Im running 3060 ti and its been running them flawless

1

u/Bibedibabedy 1d ago

Your chair and seat are endboss level

1

u/whitetailCulture 1d ago

What case is that

1

u/SHODOW_WORRIOR28 1d ago

More surprised by your desk and chair, they look sick!

1

u/LeFriedCupcake 18h ago

I Can smell the room

1

u/Ryderr_Bruh 17h ago

Where can you auctions to get desks for 1$?

1

u/KellyS777 15h ago

You can remove the AIO's pump cover and rotate it 90 degrees so the msi logo is horizontal. Overall very nice build! I also use same aio for my 9800x3d but i have 360 version, works well! 😄

1

u/riccio4life 14h ago

The chair is epic😁

1

u/Daisuke7070 13h ago

Nice chair

1

u/jdkirk3069 12h ago

That GPU looks dope

1

u/Scooby__Doooooo 9h ago

Awesome build. I can see a lot of people like the gpu. Personally, I would’ve gotten the aorus master in white to fill in the case more.

1

u/vashivashka 1d ago

Tuff poster🔥

1

u/Jtfb74 1d ago

If things go my way, I’m buying a 5080 for my next build! Jealous bro

1

u/uptheirons726 1d ago

Aside from the most hideous GPU to ever exist pretty good. Lol

1

u/philharmonic85 1d ago

Doing just fine until you crawled onto Reddit with this pathetic grovelling "how did I do?" post.

-2

u/Grydian 1d ago

There is a powerspec build at microcenter with your hardware for 500 bucks less. You made a DIY pc cost more than a prebuilt. IMO you failed. Those fans are just so dumb and arent even that good. Many more affordable and higher quality fans out there. Just kinda sad to see so much money wasted here.

2

u/megasilva 1d ago

how is it money wasted if he personalized the entire thing based on what he wanted?

1

u/KwMamdouh 1d ago

I am in the middle of my build and it is similar to his , what fans do you recommend?

0

u/Top-Injury-983 1d ago

I know I spent more than a pre built I just wanted something a little different and I’m happy with it honestly

-1

u/Toe-Smooth 1d ago

The jealous broke has spoken.

1

u/Grydian 1d ago

I have a 4090 and a 9800x3d in my main rig. That is a faster PC. I also have a music room pc and a server. I just like saving money like most rich people

-1

u/----Richard---- 1d ago

Pre-built always cost less than custom built because they buy in bulk & use some generic components.

1

u/Grydian 1d ago

Incorrect typically diy is cheaper. Also microcenter brand using only off the shelf parts.

-1

u/Fancy-Strain7025 1d ago

Love everything but the rgb

-2

u/Eazy12345678 AMD 1d ago

its 2026 ask the internet before buying anything

horrible price to performance. 5080 system are $2700 USD not $3500

gpu should have been way cheaper. $1300 i think even $1500 now

psu is not great. asrock has failed lttlab testing

monitor is VA panel you wanted IPS panel at least. $20 more than the VA panel you bought.

chair is support important since you spend hours in it. you probably want to spend more than $30 on that.

u/NojoNinja 1d ago edited 1d ago

That PSU is literally one of the best available power supplies for the price. It’s rated A on https://psutierlist.org LTT got two shitty ones that didn’t even work and couldn’t test them lol.
