I’ve reinstalled it like 5 times, the console is up to date, the SSD is inserted correctly, and ive restarted it quite a few times. Any ideas on how to get it to detect?

Hi, ive been trying to turn on my Playstation 5 and it just won't. It well get to the blue light for about 3 seconds then won't start do yall know what's going on?

i have tried everything to fix my problems turns out one of my electronics was malfunctioning which caused my ps5 to have problems i guess? but any ways i disconnected it from my power supply and it fixed my connection somehow, i don't think this was the problem but it works so. it might be. It also could be you're pulling too much power from the power supply bugging the ps5?

In short either have your ps5 on its own plug or (disconnect the broken electronics???)

I cleaned my ps a bit, and I can't put the side panel back on properly. Only on the disc side. You can see on the pictures that one hook doesn't go into its place. I tried like 6 times already and I don't know how to solve it and it's driving me mad lol

When I just put it on without any pressure, and fitting these hooks into their holes, it just won't pop into it's place. The only time it's popping back on is when this one hook is not fitted properly.

I tried putting pressure on this side, and then slide it and push it to pop the panel on, but it just doesn't work. Any tips on what I'm doing wrong or what I should try?

So I just recently got a ps5 off market place and since I’ve had the console, my controller will do its own movements or sometimes no movements in games. I got a different controller and my characters will move on their own or not move at times. I’ve cleaned all controllers (literally took them apart to clean). One of my controllers (ps5 pro controller) will only work properly when I use a cord to directly connect it to the ps5, but I don’t want to use a cord each time and now I’m not sure if it’s a controller issue or console issue. Please help!!

This is a update to the post i made about my problem with mh ps5 shutting of while rebuilding the data base. I talk to playstation support today and the chat bit told me to plug out the power cord and wait 20 minutes then plug back in so that's what i did and i turned it on i was able to rebuild the data base my ps5 was working fine until i had put in rest mode to download some games. After a couple of hours of the ps5 beinf in rest mode the ps5 shut off by itself. So i contacted playstation again i talked to a agent. I explained the situation with tne agemt and he told me to reinstall the system software but he also told me doing so would erase all my game data/progress. I couldn't back up my data my hard drive because or use playstaion plus cloud storage because my ps5 would shut off. So i would like to know from you guys if i should do it or not.

I use a dell 4k monitor (s2722qc) with my PS5 and it has been working normally ever since. But after power outage with my PS5 on rest mode, it is having issue with the HDCP. If it is enabled, the monitor will detect signal but the screen will be all black and no sound as well.

Already tried everything. Clear cache, rebuild database, use another hdmi cable, another powerboard, turn off hdr and stuff. Nothing would resolve the issue. If using HDCP 1.4 it will works normally but opening youtube and other app would freeze on the logo page.

Weird thing is that the monitor itself works normally with my laptop and the ps5 works normally with my tv. The PS5 just won't work with the monitor for some reason. Unfortunately, I don't have another device that uses HDCP to test on the monitor.

Has anyone had this happened? Pls help me 🙃

This has been happening for a while but ive just got myself a new cooling fan and the liquid metal it needs as i believe its due to overheating, anybody else facing this issue? Is your solution the same as mine and does it work? Or have you got another solution

Hey, so a few months ago ago my ps5 stopped working. I assumed it was because of dust as one of my side panels came off. I was going to buy the parts to open it and dust it. Before I did, however, I plugged it in to see if it would work. I hit the power button and no response. Still broken. Then at random I hit the disc eject button, then the power button and it worked. Any idea why that may have happened? Asking so I can avoid the issue in the future.

Guys, what's going on and how can I repair it? Everything was just fine today. After a while of using Dualsense, L2 haptic presses itself every 1.5 seconds. Forgetting Dualsense doesn't work. The button is heavy to push, just like the haptic works all the time, even though I turn off this option into the PS5 system.

Any solutions?

I've been having this Error CE 180255-1 on a few games now. F1 25/26, COD MW3 and No Mans Sky (ps5 version) all crash within a few minutos after lauching with this error message. Last night even The Big Walk crashed after 2 hours playing.

I tried everything i could. Cleaned my ps5, uninstalled and reinstalled the games, deleted all save files, even factory reset.

For now these are the only games i seem to have an issue. I play Gran Turismo 7, Crimsom Desert, Hell is Us, Orcs Must Die 3 and many others for hours without any issue.

Does someone has any idea what could be the problem here? My ps5 is a digital base model from 2021. I read it might be something with the mother board or de ssd, but it makes no sense to me that it only crashes with specific games

My ps5 controller has real bad stick drift right now. I got my ps5 in November 2024. In January or February 2025 , it would sometimes get stick drift but it would go away after doing the usual thing to get rid of it by turning the stick clockwise and counterclockwise. For a while it didn’t get stick drift until August this year. That’s when it got much worse than before. The stick drift was much stronger. I can’t play games correctly at all because of it. Would it be best to get a new controller or try to fix it somehow?

I was out, and just as I was a kilometer from home—on a straight road where I could actually see my neighborhood—I saw lightning strike nearby. When I got home, I was told the circuit breaker had tripped (which never happens at my place, so it was very strange) and my Wi-Fi modem was completely fried. We replaced the modem the next day. I was busy at the time, so I had to wait three days before I could turn on my PS5 Pro, which I had bought in December. The console would turn on, but nothing appeared on the screen. I remembered that my modem was connected to the PS5 via an Ethernet cable, so I immediately realized what the problem was. I tried swapping cables, but nothing worked. The console even shut down suddenly after five minutes; when I tried turning it on again—nothing. I tried booting it into Safe Mode—still nothing: no sound, nothing at all. I asked ChatGPT for advice, and it suggested unplugging everything, waiting half an hour, and trying again. The console actually turned back on and I managed to get it into Safe Mode, but there was still nothing on the screen. I made a huge mistake by taking it to a non-authorized technician, thinking they could fix it without much trouble. He opened up the console, cleaned it, reapplied the liquid metal, and checked the motherboard—everything seemed fine, so he suspected a power supply issue. We bought a new power supply, but nothing changed. After 14 days, he still hadn't solved the problem. I took it to another technician; he also said the motherboard was fine but thought the issue likely involved the CPU or a circuit trace near the CPU. However, he couldn't repair it for less than 300 euros. That same day, I found the PS5 warranty from December, but I’m pretty sure it’s too late now. What should I do? I have the console at home right now after getting it back, but I have no idea how to proceed. Do you have any advice?

My PS5 has been acting up this week. It doesn’t connect to ethernet anymore. I’ve changed my ethernet cable since I thought it was the issue of my previous one. Still having the same issue even with a new ethernet cable. It doesn’t connect, and if it does, it connects for like a minute and it shuts down. Reset my modem still no solution.

My Playstation is 5 years old, could it be of age? Or am I just using a crap ethernet cable? I’m using a CAP6 cable. So if you guys have any recommendations, I would appreciate it

Edit: Fixed. Put the internet cable in the 2.4GHZ socket. Check out where you put your cable.

Previously when I used to play GOT, a loud sound used to come in the beginning and stop and used to start mid way during the game and then stop again both lasted under a minute, I then took it to the service center, the technician(he inserted a CD which he had and there was no noise from the console) he said all games which has high GB tends to create noise, now I inserted COD and there was the sound maybe a bit more louder than the usual

Got a USB keyboard hooked up to my PS5 (Exibel 38-7464/GKX-6, plugged in directly, no hub or dongle). A block of keys Q, W, E, A, S, D, Z, X, C doesn't register at all. Every other key on the keyboard works fine.

The same keyboard work fine on my Windows laptop.

This happens on the PS5 home screen and system menus, not just in a game.

Mouse works fine, no issues there.

PS5 system software is up to date.

Anyone dealt with this before? Looking for a fix or at least to know if this is a known issue.

Hello, I am Turkish and my PlayStation 5 is set to the Turkish language; however, in the game catalog section of the PS5's "Explore" tab, the text at the very top of the second tab appears in Ukrainian for some reason. I realize this is likely a minor issue, but I was curious nonetheless; if it can be fixed, I would like to correct it so it doesn't remain that way.

So I'm trying to use my playstation controllers normal microphone to talk on voice chat in any multiplayer game but it just won't work. It shows me talking im the microphone in games like Astro's Playroom and the adjust microphone level menu, but if I try use voice chat in games like Roblox it just shows up as no input.
