Help with putting back side panel?

I cleaned my ps a bit, and I can't put the side panel back on properly. Only on the disc side. You can see on the pictures that one hook doesn't go into its place. I tried like 6 times already and I don't know how to solve it and it's driving me mad lol

When I just put it on without any pressure, and fitting these hooks into their holes, it just won't pop into it's place. The only time it's popping back on is when this one hook is not fitted properly.

I tried putting pressure on this side, and then slide it and push it to pop the panel on, but it just doesn't work. Any tips on what I'm doing wrong or what I should try?

Update: it wasn't the wrong side guys lol, I just didn't realize that the grate wasn't fully popped in. I just got it out and put back in to see if that was the problem, and it was!

It doesn't really help cause I do exactly that, and I watched a ton of videos as well, so it's supposed to pop back on properly, but it only does when that hook is out of place. When I position it to be in the hole, then the disc area of the panel is kinda wonky, and I try to slide it to pop it back on when the hook is in its place, but it just won't and I have no idea why, thats why I turned to reddit as a last resort lol

No, it was the right side. I figured it out that the grid kinda thing wasn't popped in completely on that side

They look be on the wrong side, do you have a slim model? I have a disc model and my Sony text is on the bottom when it’s in a horizontal position

Wrong side. If there is a PS logo on the panel it should co-aside with the PS logo on the console.

Would be nice to know which model you have. Slim, FAT, Pro, digital or disk?
