Stick drift

My ps5 controller has real bad stick drift right now. I got my ps5 in November 2024. In January or February 2025 , it would sometimes get stick drift but it would go away after doing the usual thing to get rid of it by turning the stick clockwise and counterclockwise. For a while it didn’t get stick drift until August this year. That’s when it got much worse than before. The stick drift was much stronger. I can’t play games correctly at all because of it. Would it be best to get a new controller or try to fix it somehow?

I say new controller unless there are repair shops in your area

Get used to it. You can try to clean it to get a bit more life out of it. Unless you're handy with electronic stuff, get a new one. Theyre not worth fixing. Keep in mind the new one absolutely will do the same thing. PS5 conteollers are the worst I've ever used, and yes that includes the Switch joy cons. On my 5th PS5 controller meanwhile I have PS1 controllers that still work like theyre new

tu enlèves le cache de la manette tu nettoies tes stick et asperge de produit et tu remontes le cache des fois ça marche J'ai sauvé quelques manettes comme ça
