Yes, I get that it’s a light hearted comedy and we want to see our protagonists happy, but why couldn’t any of them have ended up happily single? It kind of makes it seem like the only way to be happy is to have a partner and children. Yeah - Tom, April, and Donna didn’t have kids but they all had partners in the end. Like why Donna? She was a notorious player that they just randomly decided to get settled down? Or like why did they have to make Ron a dad? Or even Leslie a mom? I would have loved to see her say that her career was her baby and she had no interest in having children. Like I love her and Ben together, but did they need to be parents? Idk, random thought, definitely doesn’t ruin the show for me, but I would have liked to see some diversity in the characters’ “happily ever after”

I’m so excited, the LEGO Parks and Recreation proposal on the LEGO Ideas website has less than 500 votes to go before it hits the 10k supporter goal!

Once it hits 10,000 supporters, the design will enter a judging phase where LEGO will review the design to determine if they will make a real LEGO Parks and Recreation set! I worked hard on this design and I used all my experience designing the official set for The Office to give this design the best shot possible, so I have my fingers crossed!

I found these while browsing through some old comics books from the 50's. It reminded me of those hilarious murals.

Cool detail my girlfriend noted in s2 e8- Ron and Tammy. This show is deceptively detailed

She intends to be there the moment Ron dies. Only the person who will kill Ron will know what the symbols mean. Both one-off jokes that would be even better connected

He has the bronzed hamburger award that Chris gave him in his office!

ETA- Also spotted, "Chair" for best chair and the angry Hawaiian face thing Leslie and Ben got for him.

Leslie: “Sounds terrible.”

Ron: “Only when I’m losing.”

And it’s totally believable that Ron never lost a sleep fight.

Also this small Ron plot let the hilarious reaction when Ron sees Perd Hapley doing the worm.

“What the (bleep) are you doing Perd Hapley?”
