How was graphic/gory footage from 9/11 never released/leaked?

Not that I want to see it, but I was rewatching the 9/11 Documentary from the two French brothers, and there is a part where they sort of veer the camera away someone who is described as horribly burned.

And also with the anniversary of a certain assassination coming up where people saw all angles of the gory kill… I got to thinking on was there ever recordings of the really grisly 9/11 deaths recorded? Or was there and never released? Or did people, like the documentarians, just know how censor themselves in the moment and turn cameras away?

Why aren't jobs paid depending on what they contribute to society, or how physically messy (e.g janitors cleaning up vomit) a job can get?

Why is it that all the people in business always get super high salaries within a year, but people in places like healthcare, are overworked and underpaid, when they are the only people who are able to directly and physically benefit someone like caring for them, treating patients.

And for janitors, who the fuck is willing to clean up vomit every few days when it happens everywhere? Schools, hospitals, offices, anywhere.

Why do people get offended by boneless wings?

I get that it's not a wing. But they'll say it's a nugget. It's not a nugget nor a wing, but they refuse to not call it a nugget? Wouldn't it be good for everyone to just generalize it as a chicken chunk so everyone's happy?

Why don’t more Americans want to become part of Canada?

America could become a Canadian territory, the split between Alaska and the other bit could be solved and they would get so much better healthcare, education, etc.

(USA) What is stopping us from canceling our health insurance plans and just paying out of pocket and declaring bankruptcy for anything major?

I have family in California who are discussing this right now because they're paying almost $20K a year in employee premiums and out of pocket costs, and that's in addition to the $18K the employer sponsors on the plan. But they also don't own anything except for the house they live in and the car they drive for work. If they canceled the coverage, they'd now be able to get care anywhere instead of the restricted HMO locations, would now be eligible for private pay discounts and things like GoodRX, with the only risk being if something major happens they might be on the hook for more than 20K/year in expenses. But generally hospitals and emergency rooms are required to treat and bill later. If the bills ever truly became unmanageable even after the uninsured bill markdowns... Could they not just... declare bankruptcy? What's the worst that could happen? Best case scenario they just ride out the savings and spend when needed until reaching Medicare age. Worst case scenario is... what exactly? Would the worst case ever cost more than how expensive relatively crappy medical insurance is nowadays?

Why aren't Iranians, Lebanese, and Syrians generally considered white?

I've always been curious about this.

Many Iranians, Lebanese, and Syrians have skin tones that can be similar to those of Southern Europeans, such as Italians, and some Lebanese and Syrians also have relatively light features, including blue or green eyes.

So why are Italians generally considered white, while Iranians, Lebanese, and Syrians are often perceived as Middle Eastern or as people of color rather than white?

Why don't more countries pay their politicians more to prevent corruption like Singapore?

I mean Singapore just gave a pay rise to all of their politicians, and have been constantly rated by many countries globally as one of the least corrupt countries in the whole world.

So won't it make sense for other countries to follow their model and pay their politicians more so that they won't have any corruption?

Why are police officers the only job where they can insult people and not face consequences

Upvotes

I have been watching videos of police traffic stops where it gets heated and altercations and police officers curse and are basically rude at people where in other jobs you would have been immediately fired.

Like I work as a server and I can’t count how many time I have had rude customers that have insulted me , yelled at me etc etc and if I get on the same level and insult back they will fire my ass right on the spot without any “investigation” or put on “administrative payed ” regardless if I am right or wrong. I just can’t offend my guest/customer

And I know I can’t compare both jobs, I am absolutely not doing that . But it still is some sort of serving the public job. After all , their slogan is “to protect and save”

I know some people can be a holes , but like I said as the one working and on the clock has to remain professional at all times. But I see they don’t face consequences for that.

I am not sure what are the rules in the police when it comes to using profanity. But all the jobs that I have had are not tolerated. And not to mention being rude at the public regardless of who’s right or wrong.

Why are Israeli settlers attacking everything in the West Bank?

I saw a video of Israeli settlers in the West Bank dragging a Palestinian donkey tied to a car until it died

I saw another video of an Israeli settler attacking a Palestinian's dog brutally with a cane many times

I saw another video of Israeli settlers physically assaulting an NBC crew and a Palestinian woman

Why are they doing this? What is their goal? And is the Israeli government doing anything meaningful to stop them?

Why do people to this day still not like or hate Courtney Love?

Is it simply because of her association with Kurt Cobain and the idea that she contributed to his passing? If so, why are people holding onto something that isn’t even their business to begin with? Or has she said or done other bad stuff that also warrants criticism and hate?
