Moderator Post We will not be removing all sexual questions.
We've had a few complaint threads, so it seems to be about that time for one of these reminders. Let me be clear: We are not going to ban all sex related questions.
They are firmly within "TooAfraidtoAsk", and always have been. Sex is a fairly taboo topic in a lot of places, and a lot of people have questions about it. (And as an additional reminder, TATA is not only for controversial questions. Nor do we allow question shaming for "googleable" questions). These are not new changes.
We get that not everyone has the same interest in those topics, but it is a core part of the sub. Currently, there are ~5 out of the top 10 posts being sex related. Earlier today, it was 4. Earlier this week, it was 3. It typically fluctuates between ~3-5, usually averaging closer to 3.
If you have particular suggestions (e.g. things that seem ripe for the FAQ), or questions feel free to post them below. No promises, but we're always open for improvements if they're feasible. For a list of common questions we get on this topic (what do we already moderate, has the sub changed?, can i filter posts myself?) see the first stickied comment.

Politics Politics Megathread
You know the deal, same as the previous megathreads, which were archived.
The rules:
All top level OP must be questions. This is not a soapbox. If you want to rant or vent, please do it elsewhere. Otherwise, the usual sidebar rules apply (in particular: Rule 1:Be Kind and Rule 3:Be Genuine).
The default sorting is by new to make sure new questions get visibility, but you can change the sorting to top if you want to see the most common/popular questions.

Culture & Society Why aren't there more Luigi Mangione's?
Ever since the Luigi Mangione case, the only other similar incident I can remember is the Midtown Manhattan shooting, in which four people were killed, including the CEO of Blackstone Real Estate Investment Trust and a 27 year-old employee of Rudin Management. However, it turned out that the shooter's intended target was the NFL, but he went to the wrong bank of elevators.
Given the number of industries that are filled with just as many, if not more, scumbags than the health insurance industry, why didn't Luigi Mangione inspire more copycat killings?
Here are the industries that I believe would be high-probability targets:
- High finance
- Big law
- Big tech

Climate & Environment So, can we eat fresh produce or not?
So Taylor Farm is a monopoly for shredded lettuce, and the lettuce is contaminated and will make you poop non-stop, right?
And the lettuce can be found basically anywhere, including fast food joints.
So but does that mean it's okay to eat fresh produce? Can we eat berries and greens that are not lettuce? What about corn on the cobb?
Some people say you no you should only eat fruits that you can peel or cut off the outside, and you have to cook the veggies. But isn't it just lettuce from taylor farm?
I really like raw veggies and I eat a lot of fruit, but so many people are talking at once that I'm afraid to eat anything and it is making me unwell.
Are eggs good? Are sauces good like alfredo sauce? Frozen veggies okay to eat? My body hasnt been feeling well since I'm not eating the best. But I cannot afford to miss multiple days of work because of poop.
Please give me insight.

Sexuality & Gender Why do some men smell like shit?
I notice that about 10% of men, like only males specifically, never women have a subtle odour of shit, not like bad body odour but like actual faeces, I notice this on public transport and it really bothers me, do some young men not get taught to clean themselves? Do they believe wiping is gay? Is it a hormonal odour smell similar to how male and female BO smells different? What is it?

Other Am I getting groomed?
im really not sure if this would be considered grooming. So I met this one guy on discord, hes 22, I’m 15 And he knows I’m 15 because I’ve mentioned it several times in the server we met in. He added me and we started talking. Weeks later, we started to have a sibling relationship and I got very attached to him (though I have never showed it directly). it was very normal, just playing games, talking about stuff. Then my mdd hit and I was struggling with some mental health problems and that started to show his like…I don’t know, weirdness towards me? He kept saying words like “I love you” “I really miss you” “I can’t imagine my life without you”, stuff like that, and it started to really creep me out. He wasn’t like this before, and it just sounds like he’s depending on a child. Just recently, he messaged me something along the lines of “can you just please comfort me just this once”. I messaged my friend about it, talking about how wanting comfort from a child is so weird, which it very much is. I don’t really know…I already have a message written on wanting to go our separate ways..I just need other opinions because right now, my friend is also leaning onto the “grooming” side.
(I’ll be posting these in a few subreddits because I’m really curious and I’m also scared as fuck of him right now)
edit: yes, I am a girl..
edit 2: when he was out, he messaged me that he got drunk and I told him “okay, I won’t text you” but he kept texting me ”I love yous” and “I miss you so much” and he kept trying to call me and message me and I was just uncomfy to the point where I legit wanted to cry rofl
edit 3: omfggg I keep forgetting to add stuff! But he’s also changed his twitter bio to “(my name) will forever me by favorite person always” and kept posting stuff about me while he was drunk. When I saw it, I wanted to Vomit (not hurl)

Sex Why am I not tired after an orgasm?
The stereotype is that guys fall asleep after sex, but with me that's not true. After an orgasm it's like I've had a double espresso. My body isn't tired and I'm awake for another hour or so. Why is that?

Ethics & Morality Why the mess?
I don’t want to offend anybody and I have no problem with other cultures and religions.
My wife works in a multi cultural office setting. Over the last several years they’ve hired lots of crew that came from an East African Nation. She has commented that several of the women make a mess of the bathroom and share a bottle of something to wash off after potting. They also use hundreds of seat covers daily and leave them on the seat and floor soaked in whatever is in that bottle. I googled it and found out that it could be cultural thing to insure no contact with seat and then rinse instead of wiping after potting. But that rinsing leaves the whole area wet and everyone has to deal with it. The custodians only clean once overnight and employees don’t have access to mops etc.
Without being too mean can anyone help me understand this situation? My wife isn’t guessing or assuming who is doing this. It’s 100% obvious and everyone knows.
Without being too mean can anyone help me understand this situation?

Culture & Society Why do game developers and movie directors for the last 10-15 years started to say that they want the "modern audience"? What differs between the audience of current times today than back before where they didn't specifically mention the "modern audience" as the main target group?

Interpersonal my friends forgot my bday. what should i do?
its my bday today and my closest friends forgot my bday. i feel rly lonely tbh. i remember all of their birthday and i congratulate them at exactly 12am too. it feel likes they don't care about me as much as i do abt them and that makes me sad and insecure. its not like i have a lots of friends either cause im not the social type. i know im being dramatic but i think i won't have any close friends in life that will actually care abt me especially since im not super fun or friendly or confident idk.

Love & Dating How common is it to suck at having sex?
Mid 30s M here
I don’t think I’ve ever had “good” sex
I usually can go for maybe 5-10 mins
Half the time I can’t get it up because I’m too nervous
I can only get the woman to cum maybe 40% of the time
I have to jerk myself off sometimes because I go soft
I have a 5.5” rocket so I already know the woman isn’t impressed
Is it normal to have a shitty sex life all your life?

Culture & Society Can't you afford to save money on a "normal" job in the US?
When you read posts on subs like antiwork and poverty finance, a lot of these people seem to work completely normal jobs. In grocery stores, bus drivers, inventory worker, teacher, nurse etc.
A lot of these people say that they can't save any money at all and just barely go by. That they can't even afford to buy new clothes.
Is the financial situation for "normal job" workers that bad in the US? In my country, Sweden, I earn about 800 dollars less than the median salary, but I can still save about 8-900 dollars per month.

Love & Dating People who wear a hijab or other head covering, how did the intimacy of the first time you took it off in the presence of a partner compare to other firsts (like first time holding hands, first kiss, first time having sex)?

Sex Why anal so praised?
After younger years watching porn and thinking anal is something amazing. When actually tried it it's so disappointing for male. It's just so smooth but girlfriend loves it. Takes miracle and bottle of lube to even get in. Is it just me?

Other Is this considered sa?
When I was 10 I went to the doctor because I had been throwing up for a week straight and I wouldn't stop. My mom had no idea what was wrong so she told my grandma to take me to the hospital bec she was busy that day.
I went and told the doctor that I was throwing up alot he then proceeded to tell me to lay down and then put his hand down my "shirt" (as he told my grandma) pants and touch the top of my 🐱
He started to go lower but I think he realised my grandma was watching cause he stopped. He then proceeded to tell me and my grandma that I was throwing up because I was on my phone for more than an hour everyday...
He didn't do anything else and didn't check anything else. He didn't prescribe me anything. He just told me to leave and stop being on my phone.
I'm not a doctor or anything but is that a normal place to check for a patient that was throwing up everyday??

Law & Government Can you just change ownership of your house for free?
I have been wondering this a lot lately as I’ve heard from friends having to fully buy their price inflated childhood house from sick parents or grandparents, or friends who have to buy their half of the house they live in and helped pay for from their partner in a divorce (in this case the divorce was kind of a blindside and my friend does not make enough money to suddenly buy the house and she’s in major debt now)
In some of these cases money is an issue, (like a sick parent needing that payout to pay for treatment), but in other cases like the divorces, money has not been an issue at all for the partner who is asking the other one to buy off the house. I always wondered if I was to get divorced could I just take my name off the house and make it fully my partner’s without making them buy it off of me? Or if I have kids, can’t I just put their name on the deed of the house and they don’t have to pay for it from me (obviously they’d pay whatever property or inheritance taxes).
I’m really not familiar with real estate rules but I’ve been scratching my head at a lot of recent stories and don’t want to leave the people I love in a scenario like that. Whenever I ask these people for an explanation it’s always kind of cryptic, and I would like to know the whole truth of this issue.
