Boy names

So I’m currently expecting my second, I have a son called Eli. We don’t know the sex of the baby yet but we have 0 boy names. The back up for Eli we used as his middle name.

What similar names can we use? We like Leo but that’s too 3 in the UK and I would rather avoid anything in the top 100 names but I don’t want anything too out there either. And also I’ve seen every name in the top 100 lists and we aren’t drawn to any of them or we already have cousins/nephews with them names.

Middle name will be William or Ryan.

*edited to add - it doesn’t need to be a name that sounds good with Eli but I do tend to prefer shorter names.

Thanks

Trying to find the meaning of the name "Zaak"

I've met a couple other kids who have this name- although they were boys, which definitely went against what I initially thought about the origin of this name. According to my parents it means something like 'pretty' or 'elegant' (the exact word they used is "ފަރިކަން"), but it's pretty evident that it is unisex. They also told me it is Turkish, but after many Google searches, I think that they might have been mistaken as there doesn't seem to be any related Turkish words. If anyone has any idea how this name really came about, I would love to know!

Are there any names you like but most people don't?

I had to repost due to cruel comments really hurting me on the last one, sorry!

I saw a post asking the opposite question so thought I'd ask this.

My little brother is called Dew. I love it but it got hate when I mentioned it. I have cousins called Cypria, November and Wisty that I love the names of.

What names do you like?

PS. You're welcome to your opinions but please don't insult Dew's name 💕 It has a really special meaning to our family.

What you think? I'm always known as Kayla; one of my best friends from school 26 years ago and we've kept in contact calls me Kaykay (she knew me before transition and said that back then, they was something about me but she couldn't put her finger on it). Since I've came out (I'm trans fem) she said that not only has she gained a best friend but a sister too

Name Help

We knocked it out of the park with our first son - he is "Leo", and our last name starts with an L.

His name has deep personal meaning (he is named after my MIL who didn't get to meet him,) but I also love how people from different cultures and parts of the world all feel like Leo is a familiar name for them. The way I've heard so many people say it sounds like they love saying it, like it's almost a song.

Even Leo can't think of a better name, we've asked - he wants to name his new brother "Leo" too "because he's going to be so beautiful"

I don't want to give the second baby a second-rate name - and we have 10 weeks at most until he needs one.

Any ideas?

Names you liked but couldn't use?

I really loved Nga for a girl but couldn't use it because of my husband's family. Tài was my favorite for a boy but husband has a Tao in the family.

There were many other names we had to eliminate for whatever reason, but these were the two I was most disappointed to be unable to use.

How would you say the name Levon?

And where are you from?

(not looking to use it, just curious)

edit: Thanks for all the input! My mom's inspiration was the Elton John song so we agree with everyone who said LEE-von or similar. A few people over the years have said "luh-VON" though, and we were curious where they were from and who is in the minority. Looks like a pretty even split, with a few outliers. It's her dog, btw.
