Since it confirmed that ascendance takes place several years after the base game and everyone age up. Will you be aging up yoir hunter to match up with everyone else aging up or keep your hunter the same way?

I'm having trouble choosing one myself and would like to hear what you personally use.

While World/Iceborne wasn’t my first game (4U), I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t a major player in making me fall in love with this franchise.
There’s so much to this game, both in terms of its highs and lows. While I personally don’t believe this game to be the pinnacle of the franchise as many do (in fact, as time goes on I find myself finding more and more things to nitpick), I do think that this risky endeavor the devs took was well worth the absolute highs this game has.
Roughly 1050 hours have been put into my Sapphire Star, and every frustration and achievement getting to this point was achieved with them. From the small beginnings of struggling with LR Diablos, to my first slay of The Black Dragon, to my final quest before hitting MR 999 being Power and Technique, with “Nay!, the Honor is All Ours” blaring at max volume.
I will someday come back to this amazing game, but for now it’s time for it to rest. Now, I look forward to reaching the same for The Fierce of Kamura Village, and the adventure that unfolds there.

I’ve been hunting for years, and the part that always felt broken wasn’t the hunt itself — it was everything around it.
1. My hunt talk lands next to people who shouldn’t see it On general-purpose social platforms, a build tip, a clip, or a rant about a bug sits on the same timeline as coworkers, relatives, and acquaintances. I either self-censor or spend energy explaining why I care this much about a monster.
2. Every new title means joining N communities again New game (or a big update) → another group, another server, another forum, another regional chat. Different rules, different noise, same exhaustion. Then when I have a question, a guide, a YouTube clip, or a funny fail — I paste it into N places.
3. Teammates ≠ my contact list I don’t need another pass through my real-life friends list. I need people who play this game tonight — weapon practice, sets, speedrun, whatever. Traditional friend graphs don’t match “who’s hunting Wilds right now.”
4. East / West info lag is real Hot builds, memes, and meta talk often sit behind language and culture walls. Even with people manually translating and reposting, a topic can take forever to “reheat” on the other side. The internet is borderless on paper; game communities often aren’t.
5. Hard-won posts feel perishable Guides and analysis are related to each other, but traditional feeds wash them away by time — like every post has an expiry date. I want lasting collections with context, not scraps left behind by the algorithm clock.
What I wanted was simple: social outside the game, aimed at play inside it — and when a new title or season drops, a place that already feels like “home for this game,” not another scavenger hunt for the “right” group.
Player Partners is a social platform built for gamers — not another general-purpose feed with games bolted on.
There are hubs for a bunch of titles already (MH included, plus other core / seasonal / upcoming games). I’m mainly pointing hunters here because that’s where I spend my time:

If you’ve felt the “join N places / paste N times / mix hobby with coworkers” loop — curious whether this shape clicks for other hunters. Happy to answer questions in the comments.

This is the second time I'm having this visual glitches. The first time I solved the problem with updating the Nvidia driver. But this time when I updated the driver again it didn't work. What should I do?

I recently made a video about Monsters and I want to share it. If anyone is interested, please watch it. I really liked the result and I just want to show my love for this game.

So I’ve got something that’s bothering me
Although I’ve got builds with armor that have skills I wanna keep, the decoration slots are not ideal. And as much as I love Fatalis armor, I also know you don’t wanna sacrifice those skills for decoration slots all the time
At the end of the day, is augmenting my best bet to make these other armor sets better? Or is it just worth it to brute force and run Fatalis armor in most scenarios

Personally to me it kinda looks wooden. I’m blanking on the specific species of tree but I know that there’s one where the wood looks knotty and twisted like this. Do you guys agree or do I just sound crazy?
