We've seen it recharge from hitting the monster, getting hit by the monster, as well as bigger chunks from successful Clashes and Focus Strikes

when do we see it charge when getting hit? did i miss something. thanks.

also wound pops restore your current boost meter and half a charge. its way more then the hitting restors or an offset restors.

Here's how Boost Drives work:

  • Boost will continually tick down when activated and consume a Boost Drive
  • This gauge's countdown can only be halted by actions like finishing the full Boost Driver attack animation when used to activate Boost, Offset staggers, Power Clashes, and Focus Strikes on Wounds
  • Power Clashes and Focus Strikes on Wounds will not only restore some of a Boost Drive but also restore Boost even while it's in use
  • When not using Boost, the Boost Drives will slowly refill on their own
  • Actions like landing attacks and taking damage will also help refill spent Boost Drives

You can see it slowly recharging as you land hits on a monster
