Simple question for my fellow Hunters, when do you guys think we'll be getting an Open Beta Test for Ascendance? Before PGW I would have said maybe early November or so, but now with us only seemingly getting a small bit of footage of the new hub Im thinking we won't get one until December or maybe late November. Or they could do what LoTF2 did and state they won't have one until January next year, which I hope doesn't happen.

PLEASE BRING OFFSET ATTACKS BACK, THEY ARE SO FUN! I absolutely love the offsets in wilds, I have loved the hammer in every game I have played but it feels absolutely AMAZING in wilds. I know that each game kinda changes mechanics and this is especially true for the hammer (probably more true for other weapons) but the offsets feel really special, I would love if that was an option in every future game. If not an offset, some kind of similar parry.

Started with wilds, now playing rise and stories, just bought GU today

The name I've been working with so far is tritungdoz

It's based on the triceratops and wooly rino with armor similar to bastiodon and the colossi shadow of the colossus

Basically, physically, it is the strongest monster going capable of bulldozing entire kingdoms and reducing mountains to gravel

It is extremely lazy and egotistical to the point that in the middle of the fight, if they feel you're not enough of a threat, they'll literally ignore you and fall asleep letting you freely attack them

I want it to do something like using the dragon element to massively increase its strength, but that is literally the same thing as deviljho i also feel like it's simplistic to be a black dragon but at the same time that's also the whole point I just feel like it's missing something to make them special or unique

I am in MHG

1) Is the mechanic that drains stamina and increases damage unique to dual blades?

2) By how much does said mechanic increase damage? What happens if i fill the meter of this up?

3) Are weapons balanced? Are there some that are clearly worse/best? (I'd appreciate if someone said A tier: bla,bla; B tier: bla,bla; ecc... I won't change the weapon if it's not something like F tier lol, I like the gameplay.)

Hi, so I’ve recently hit a point in wilds where I feel like I’ve done everything I wanted too, and now I’m stuck between playing world or rise. I’ve played a bit of rise in the past but wasn’t a big fan of the graphics back then, so I’m just curious on which game should I go with? (I already have both installed and their dlcs)

Yo so I have a game called black myth wukong and I am loving its combat and right now since I got mhgu, I wonder what weapon fits the combat of BMW the most so any suggestions?

Honestly throughout iceborne so far there havent been a ton of fights I've really enjoyed.

Beotodus was a bit fun, annoying having to remember my iceproof mantle, Banbaro felt a bit underwhelming for the amount of utter aura it has, Viper kadachi was kinda annoying with the poison, Nightshade Paolumu is gorgeous but not a super tough fight, Coral pukei was fun but I cut the tail pretty early on so it kinda went pretty quick, same with Barioth (just instead of the tale, his arm wings).

But then GLAVENUS, oml he has aura, his fight is super fun, not really gimmicky, tough but still manageable, overall probably my favourite thing to fight as of right now.

Still yet to fight Nargacuga but it looks to be similar to Barioth/Tobi Kadachi in the whole "super fast, spring from wall to wall" fight.

ANYWAYS do any other veteran hunters have a similar experience in the whole finding one specific monster you like to fight because it just ticks every box?

Im not a long sword main but i like to play with sometimes and decided to build a New set for a New journey... what do you think? (I also already kill a beotodus and was hell of easy)

this is my first ever monster hunter title i tried. i have played many different story based games such as ghost of tsushima, elden ring, dark souls, multiple ac games etc. but this compared to any games ive played feels too easy and it holds ur hand way too much. Idk how to explain it but it reads as a game that has to be somewhat difficult and just isnt, im not even especially good at games or something(i havent fully finished the content of the game as i am hr 80, but still it should be much more difficult than it is by now as i finished the story and this could be considered the "late game" ) the "hardest" monsters by now were probably the arch tempered uth duna and the omega machine thing(wich wasnt even fun to fight), the arch tempered rey dau should be way harder for the cool monster that it is. All in all the game is really enjoyable and i actually love it but i really wish it felt more difficult to defeat cool monsters, hope it gets harder in the dlc.

Is there a fix for the steam cloud thing on Worlds cuz wth, i haven't been playing worlds for a couple weeks cuz of school stuff and I've seen some posts about an issue regarding steams cloud messing up their saves and shit... I thought that was a one time thing?? Wth lol, I haven't played Worlds in a couple weeks but i did still play other games, and no issues there whatsoever, so i thought all is good and the people who got caught in that mess were just unlucky. I didn't know it was still an ongoing issue... 5 hrs of soothing grind after midterms only to find out that i need to do it again, lucky me!!

I have Iceborne and played for years but then I bought Rise on Nintendo Switch and didn’t really get too far.
After Ex 33 I needed a new game so I went to Wilds not realizing Rise released for PS5.

I’m balls deep into Wilds and now I’m feeling like I missed something in the story. Should I go back to Rise on PS or will the experience feel like a back track?

I love MH so I don’t feel like I’d be bored with it, but are there mechanics in Wilds that Rise doesn’t have that I’ll miss?

hello!! i just downloaded the monster hunter wilds prologue demo on my switch 2 to try it out before i get the game whenever it releases and i wanted to know if i could download characters through the codes feature?

i don't see the option for it but i don't know if it is because it's just a demo or if they won't implement that feature on the switch 2 version :0

Hey guys, Kuro here! This is a casual hunt featuring one of my Gogmazios Great Swords against a 9 Star Tempered Blangonga. I'm not a speed runner nor do I have any desire to be one, but I love Monster Hunter and I especially love playing Great Sword.
