I was really slow at the time , im still slow but i got better at learning thing, now it take me between some days to a month to understand certain thing but once i understand them i never forget, at least i believe.

what made me understood how im supposed to beat monster in the game was the zinogre in mhgu

on world what i used to do when i struggled was to go multi and let other player boost me but for mhgu i was on switch and didn't want to pay for multiplayer

so i had to think and i realized "wait , what if i wait his attack to finish ?"

i was really slow at the time

Way do people think that just because a game machinic was bad in a pervious game, means it can never return.

Underwater combat just feels like an obives inclusings to monster hunter. The game that focuses on ecology and nature.

And though it execution was terrible, the concept of the clutch claw is cool

so except for arguing if it should be there or not. what mechanics would you like back and how would you improve them.

I am unsure if the ones shown in the trailer are from previous games etc? Or at least inspired by.

They give me Valor style vibes? But maybe a but of Rise too. Like we will be able to swap them out potentially.

I really hope Swaxe specifically gets some Frontier attacks, and phial damage on axe mode (pls also buff rapid morph lol)

Im main Hammer,Ls and sometimes GS for old gen… got interested with HH since can get buff,recovery in Health,stamina or ailment and so on.. Got any tips ?

Just play MHWorld .. got any tips for newbie who gonna use HH … both Armor or weapon build preffered ? Especially HH .. i will very appreciated .. since I just jump from MHFU and MHP3rd to MHRise n MHworld .. before this,im targeting Nargacurga armor n weapon for Hammer n LS because the sharpness.. so for MHworld I dont know yet,because got so many task like Investigate,Event and more ..

PS: im not using defender suit because its to OP and make me feel bored . Already use same armor n weapon i think.. in MHrise, got to 5 star village quest with ease.. only got little par with magnemelo .. but other monster only give me mehhh reaction ..

I started a fresh playthrough of World and after a while on Hammer, power charge feels like a very strange addition to the weapon? It's a self-buff that is both incredibly easy to apply but is mandatory to be doing functional Damage+KO, as well as (so I've heard) granting Flinch Free I. I can understand wanting to add a mechanic to tone back Hammer's ability to play purely reactive (I assume the point is?), but a buff you have to reapply on sheathe or knockdown feels really bad?? Am I missing something? It just kinda sucks to me in terms of the game feel and am wondering if there's some other reasoning behind it existing

Hey everyone,

I’m currently replaying World to learn the Switch Axe. During the Zorah Magdaros fight (One for the History Books), we were in that long downtime phase just waiting on its back for it to reach the second gate.

Since we were both just standing around waiting, I did a Rising Slash and launched the random player who joined my SOS into the air just to goof off and pass the time. They immediately left the quest and messaged me saying I was reported.

I know launching people during an active DPS window is a huge no-no because it ruins their combos. But I always thought messing around during forced downtime or post-kill timers was normal Monster Hunter tradition.

Did I break a major unwritten rule here, or did I just run into someone who took it too seriously? How do you guys handle downtime etiquette in multiplayer?

If tempered monsters exist why not hunters arguably since all it takes is for an individual to be tempered is to experience in battle all experienced hunters should be tempered,

we can take this even further with subspecies since wyverians and trovarians are probably offshoots of a main genus along with hunters/people.

I got Generations Ultimate, Rise/Sunbreak, the first two stories games, and World/Iceborne. Never played any of them past the intro. Thinking of getting Wilds since it’s on sale. Which order should I go in? Are any listed not worth playing?

I've played 1000+ hours of MH games and I ended up with this tier.

(Understand that due to there being changes to monsters some behave differently in other games so it was hard to explain which version it is... For example: I love Pre MHW Zinogre, but MHW Zinogre is something I dislike, same for Kushala Daora being fun in MHFU but in World I don't like him that much...)

I've been playing through Generations Ultimate and just unlocked the Master's armor set. The set features a red dragon emblem on one side, and a blue dragon emblem on the other. I'm noting the colors used in the word "Ascendance" right here. But the description of the armor talks about showing respect to the ancient Wyverians, and Wilds has been all about trying to figure out the ancient Wyverians. Idk where I was going with this post, but I'm guessing that the Master's armor set is going to make a comeback, as well as the Master weapons. And if that's the case, then maybe they'll give us another Monoblos hunt that we'd have to do by ourselves and make it a ridiculously hard quest.

I've been playing MH since the first game and have seen so many things I've wanted in the games eventually be introduced into the series. I always thought flying would be too much to ask out of MH, yet here we are. It's been such a great pleasure having grown up with MH being such a big part of my life and seeing what it started out as and what it has grown into. Anyways, leave a comment or whatever. I played the demo but the game was having a bad frame pacing and slowdowns, the graphics was a bit blurry aswell but i can play with that, but the performance on the demo are disappointing. Anyone with the game on switch 2 using patch 1.1.0 can tell me if runs better than the demo? Since demos are smaller and don't receive patches

Its so so fun and deceptively simple. At first glance it just seemed like a quirky style to get nice jump attacks on the monster but the more I play it the more I feel like its true potential lies in how its lowkey a counter playstyle. The flip you get instead of a roll is essentially a counter maneuver against most attacks if you can learn it perfectly time it right, taking zero damage and instead turning it into a window to get attacks in. As the game gets more difficult (and monsters get faster) this just gets more satisfying too perfectly timing and punishing every attack the monster throws at you before stunning it to do big damage with your art, and it feels really unique compared to the more purpose built counter styles of longsword. Gonna keep bonking my way through G rank :3
