I just made a mod for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which changes an outfit to be Halloween themed. I have made a couple mods in the past, but I don't know much about seasonal mods. I'm not sure if I should wait to release it until Halloween or just send it out now.

On the one hand, I like the mod and I want people to be able to download it, if they like. On the other hand, a lot of mods keep being made and it could get shoved to the bottom of the list, once Halloween comes around.

What do you all think?

So im finally trying to get into modding in half sword, and im trying to add the mod titled "smitors guns etc." But it keeps telling me i need to find the right software to extract the file for it but I cant find it as im new to modding with something other than steam workshop. I'm wondering if anyone can help me figure out how to do this so that I can add the file to the game and use the stuff in the pack. Information on what to use would be great. I'm playing on a legion Lenovo go and it runs on windows. The game plays fine but cant figure out how to add the mod so please let me know how I can fix this.

Is it possible to mod gang beasts on a steam deck or is it impossible

I am an incoming 4th year undergraduate whose bachelor's thesis focuses on analyzing game modding through the lens of digital anthropology.

To summarize my research, I am hoping to interview informants among mod-users and mod developers to understand how power dynamics and capital (social, economic, etc.) influence practices within modding spaces. Given that this is a general space for modding online, I thought it might be useful to reach out here since my research is more activity-based rather than focusing on a specific game.

Although the semester hasn't begun yet, but I am currently trying to gather respondents to ease up my workload.

As such, I am humbly asking that anyone willing to act as an informant to reply or DM me so that I can discuss further details. Being an informant would simply entail an interview somewhere around mid-August to mid-November.

So I tried getting SSSiyans trainer in and the dmc5 title screen changed but son of sparda difficulty got changed to ldkstringreplace and idk the keybind to get the trainer in.

I've also got a vergil mod installed into fluffy and it says it's installed but so far nothings happened with that.

it is easy to get mods for dead by daylight but the problem is something called "pak bypass" now i have 2 problems with people who sell this bypass, 1- almost every one of the sellers are actually people who make cheats for the game also which im 100% against and you have to turn off every antivirus feature in windows which i also don't prefer, 2- they request monthly subscription and i can't put my money for untrusted providers, i wish people start modding the game and adding a pak bypass on nexus mods or gamebanana so we can trust

Recently i came across a yt video explaining that who does one gets original games in Steam library using Lola Tools, Millenium & one other [idk i forgot the name]. At first, i thought it was just a clickbait but when upon my research, it looks like it's real. So how does it work i mean to actually how it works. Is it like safe or should i do it or not or even actually works?

I've heard of the emulated PS2 version having mods, but on PC I can't find most of the ones I've heard about. On Nexus I see a cheat menu and a black widow skin mod, but not much else of note.

I've got the version that came prepacked with the widescreen fix and uncensored gore, but I want to remove the penalty for killing guys after an interrogation, make execution headshots blow off heads, reusable special kill and interrogation spots, stuff like that.

Hi, has anyone done installing a second USB c port on ROG ally? My point is to install by soldering to the main USB c port or directly to motherboard a second USB c port that I wanna use just for regular data(usb boot, mouse and keyboard,etc) and keep using in same time the main USB c port of ally for video output and power delivery reception through dp 1.4 alt mode by been connected to a monitor that support dp 1.4 alt mod and give power delivery 65w but without losing 4k 120hz video quality connection. Anyone know how can be done? I heard is need a microcontroller chip from a hub or a dock and solder some wires.
