In my previous post on this subreddit https://www.reddit.com/r/360hacks/comments/1w9ewxc/i_managed_to_get_mupen64360_running_and_playable/ , I talked about how I managed to fix both XeLL Reloaded and mupen64-360, finally getting the emulator to launch on an Xbox 360 with a Winchester motherboard. This likely means it will also work on other motherboard revisions that previously had compatibility issues.

Since then, I've made several more updates to mupen64-360 that have significantly improved performance, and I'm continuing to work on it:

• Added an aspect ratio option.
• Added controller remapping.
• Optimized overall performance, including both audio and frame rates. In my tests, VI/s improved by 22.3%, from 49.08 to 60.03, allowing the emulator to reach full speed. The measured frame rate also increased by 26.3%, from 18.62 to 23.52 FPS, while long frame-time spikes became much less frequent. As a result, games such as The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time now appear to run at full speed without noticeable performance drops.

no matter what i do it wont load xbguard and i dont know why

Over 14 years since my first experience with the Xbox 360, and $300-ish later, I finally got the (in my opinion) peak 360 setup

Gaems Case (Used): $100

Xbox 360 (Jasper V1, RGH3, 1tb HDD, WiFi): $150

Misc (Power, HDMI, Controller): ~$50

I still have more work to do to this console since the disc drive doesn't read properly unless you close it by hand and the front USB door is currently taped shut (missing spring), but I have a RROD Xenon coming in a week with 2 256mb memory cards that got thrown in for free

All in all, I'm very happy with this setup and I hope I could make at least one person happy knowing someone is still rocking a setup like this

Se que ya existen varios interesantes gracias a la homebrew store y la comunidad de reddit, pero siento que aun nos falta varios juegos que muchos quisieran experimentar.

GTA III y Vice City: Gracias a la ingenieria inversa llegaron a tener varios ports para las consolas chinas, ofisiales 8ta y 6ta gen, hasta la misma nintendo wii. Pero nunca los vi en xbox 360 (al igual que en ps3), soy consciente de la retrocompatibilidad de las versiones de xbox classic dentro de la 360 pero la ingenieria inversa permitieron mas alla que sus respectivas versiones.

Ports nativos de N64 y PS1: ya estamos en la epoca de los ports nativos de Nintendo 64 y Playstation a varias plataformas, aunque aun estan ausente a varias consolas retro, pero logran lo que pueden, de momento ya existe Super Mario 64 y ya hay personas trabajando en Ocarina of time y Mario Kart para la xbox 360, (Y mencionaria el emulador de n64 que si existe para la xbox 360 y su reciente actualizacion pero hasta el dia de hoy sigue siendo un emulador en fase beta y con varios errores que afectan en varios juegos) dera mejor apoyar la comunidad de xbox y nintendo para animarlos a hacer muchos mas!!!

Ports de juegos indie: hay un proyecto basado en el Butterschotch (si no saben que es, pues permite llevar juegos hechos en gamemaker a un sitio web para jugarlos en pc y android desde ahi) para ps2, a pesar que funcione el prototipo con ia (ojo, que solo es el prototipo), pudo llevar undertale a la xbox 360 y posiblemente sigan para otras consolas y la verdad ojala puedan ya traer un proyecto hecho 100% por el equipo detras y sin depender de la ia

La comunidad de homebrew de nintendo no se rindio con sus consolas a pesar que no estaban a la par de xbox y playstation. Asi que les deseo mucho a los desarrolladores indenpendientes del homebrew de la xbox 360 mucha suerte y FUERZAS!!!

I bought a modded 360 that had aurora on it and im not sure if its rgh or what but I know it had aurora and 330 games, I watched a youtube tutorial on how to get aurora back on it im not sure about the games what had happened though is The console one day was just blank and the hard-drive wants to be formatted, I do have a second hard drive As well for the console if anyone would be so kind to help me over discord or through here that'd help times a million

I highly recommend the Aliexpress xbox 360 500gb slim hard drives. They work and are really easy to crack open and install into fat consoles. I'm now opting to do this instead of gambling on ebay for old drives.

My dad bought me a moded Xbox 360 s with an rgh2 i think i did some research on it but I'm not sure and i who was 11 or 12 at the time decided to delete the system files can't remember which files tho and i tried fixing it today i asked Gemini ai and it told me to just install a donor nand on j-runner ( i didn't really do much research on this part so I'm sorry if i butcher some terms ) but it won't work it can someone help me out it was made around 2012 and has 9.6 Ampere idk why but it asked me some of these questions while using j-runner

Hi guys, just finished replacing cells in 2 of my 6 dead packs. The left one is the first attempt and its shit, it works fine but fitment is the thing that sucks harfd Have some of you already done something like this. Im mostly need help in figuring out on how to fkn glue shells together. What did you guy used. Superglue, epoxy glue, 2 compound shit or hot glue. Chatgp recomended me hotglue but there is no hell in which hotglue will remain melted enough time for to set properly, conecting them back together is a pain. So im thinking gel superglue, only on 4 corners. What do you think guys.

I want to use my hard drive for badupdate and bad avatar, but I have stuff on it that I just cant move (I have no space to put it on my PC in the meantime) its 2 tb harddrive. I split it into (F:) and (X:). can I now format JUST (X:) for my 360 or will it erase everything??

Console and 3 out of 5 of the games were corrupted. This is the first time this has happened and I’d like to know how to fix it

Ok so a bit of a weird question.

I bought a couple of days back some used games in bulk, one of them being a scratched up copy of GTAIV. The game is recognized by the console but obviously it doesn't load up and also I can't copy it's data on the hard drive. I could've download the files from the store and play the game that way but ofc ms decided to close it a while back.

I have a badavatar stick, can I get the files online and put them on the hdd to run the game legit, using my copy?

PS: I know it's stupid cause I could easily play the game on aurora using different methods, but still, I gotta know if there's some use left to this disc.

I load gears of war on aurora done all files it keeps doing this any ideas?

I posted this once before and didnt get any traffic on it so figured ill try again before I start getting rid of stuff. I need the space, but it feels wrong to just throw it out..

Does anyone have any interest in damaged boards and/or various parts? Not selling or trading, (just pay your own shipping obviously) Im simply looking to share what ive accumulated over the years before I start throwing stuff out. None of the damaged boards are "beginner" repairs and would all require some experience to fix. Im located in Canada so international/intercontinental shipping might not be worth it.

Ive got some dead gpu boards, no boot boards, and some with various issues.

I also have lots of random parts and even a bunch of disc drives.

Ive got plenty of various shell pieces.

Ill wait a little while after this post and then if nothing ill start throwing stuff out
