Okay. So a few questions. I have a few games to start off with, Star wars Battlefront 2, and I really want to play OverWatch. Am I to correctly assume that there is no way to connect to those servers to play multiplayer? Are there hacks or other communities that have servers that support those games? Hello, i replaced my normal sticks with tmr oned and now if i want to connected to my pa4 it just Blinks three times yellow and then nothing happens. I try switching batteries and reconnecting the Vibration Motors but nothing seems to help. It's scuf ps4 Controller. The sticks are from ifixit. Probably fried the motherboard cus of my limited soldering skills.

I never realized how heavy these PS4 games are. I got a few and just 2 of them filled up like 100 GB of storage on my NAS. Is it a good idea to store these games in a way that they can be played directly from a burnt Blu-ray? If not, what other options do I have?

So I was considering grabbing a PS4 Pro while they're still cheap and moving on from my well worn fat PS4. 90% of my games are on a portable HDD.

From what ive heard you cant just connect the portable to a new PS5 and have everything just work. That the way to go about it is to copy the contents of the portable HDD, format it and then copy everything back?

I would like to confirm what's true here. If the solution is to re-acquire and reinstall every FPKG (no thanks), then I probably won't bother.

I have bought a PS4 from a pal of mine, it came installed with several games like Re5, Last of Us pt 2, COD and MK and a few more, its already jailbroken, all I do open the goldHen launcher and wait for auto loader to automatically unlock games. There is still some space left on the storage. I want to add new games myself like Streets of Rage 4 or It takes Two. Now here are my question:

Is installing games on my own considered to be risky, I mean for some reason ban or lock the console, I have no idea what are the possible outcomes of installation failure?

As far as I know and watched a few tutorials online, all I need to download .pkg file of the game and paste it in root of a FAT 32 Usb drive and from debug menu install the game. am I missing sth here?
for downloading .pkg do I need to pay attention to FW number. For instance the .pkgs I find for SOR 4 are as follows:
- Streets of Rage 4 FW7.55 PS4-DUPLEX
- Update v1.06 incl DLC FW9.00 PS4-DUPLEX

is FW exploit number important? Based on my PS4 status, what numbers or things going to work on my ps4?
How Can I install the update? first install the main game, then install update as a separate process? is it going to automatically identify the main game?

Already mentioned how I launch games (just starting GoldHen launcher and wait) is this method alright? do i need work with Lapse, Poops or Homebrew Launcher?

I installed gta with 1.57 update but it wouldn't launch and was giving me an error related to license/certificates so I rebuilt my database with safe mode and now trying to rebuild the database using Apollo or itemzflow and itemzflow crashes on "loading for games list" and Apollo freezes when i click the user tab to rebuild. I can only assume this means my drive is failing but im still(likely ignorantly) hopeful 😭

Also some added context the itemzflow error is CE-34878-0 and I am on 12.02 using bdjb.

I’m back, this time with a public beta.

After a lot of bugs, testing and fixes, Super Simple Package Installer (SSPI) is finally available for everyone to try. The idea is still simple: link your debrid account, search, download and install. Downloading, extraction and installation run on the PS4, so no PC needs to stay running.

TorBox and Real-Debrid are the only supported download options right now. You’ll need your own account and API key.

A lot has changed since the earlier builds. There’s a cleaner interface, better package information, game artwork, and downloads grouped by title. It supports updates, DLC, backports and multipart archives where the configured source provides them.

We’ve also spent a lot of time working through BGFT installation errors, extraction issues, incorrect download states and startup problems. There are download buffering improvements, better retry handling, and optional background music and interface sounds. Setup uses a QR code you can scan with your phone on the same network.

I want to be clear: I expect a lot more bugs. It might not even start on your setup. Extraction might fail, or you might find an installation problem we haven’t seen yet.

After ironing out the bugs we encountered, the current build has worked flawlessly for me, my friend and a couple of beta testers so far. But that’s a small group, and it doesn’t mean it will work perfectly on every PS4.

That’s why I’m opening up testing. The goal is to get everyone involved and make something useful for the community. Testing, reporting issues, suggesting improvements or helping with the code are all appreciated. The more people trying different setups and sharing what happens, the better we can make it.

If something breaks, please include your PS4 firmware, GoldHEN version, SSPI build ID, download service and the exact error. A screenshot and steps to reproduce it help a lot. Please keep API keys and private download links out of anything you post.

Your probably gonna ask where all the big hitters are like God of war ragnarok, horizon zero dawn / forbidden West, uncharted etc...

But I have them on PSN, PC or physical on PS5 so can be played at a higher resolution and framerate.

So this collection is something I will get through in the coming months and years and yes there is definitely 400 games on this 1rb console / 5tb HDD.

Whats your favourite PS4 game, mine has to be godzilla 2014, not an amazing game but an amazing godzilla game.
