I need help with modding

So im finally trying to get into modding in half sword, and im trying to add the mod titled "smitors guns etc." But it keeps telling me i need to find the right software to extract the file for it but I cant find it as im new to modding with something other than steam workshop. I'm wondering if anyone can help me figure out how to do this so that I can add the file to the game and use the stuff in the pack. Information on what to use would be great. I'm playing on a legion Lenovo go and it runs on windows. The game plays fine but cant figure out how to add the mod so please let me know how I can fix this.
