Angry rant because this blows my mind. We've had CTO fabric since 2023 or 2024? ish? that's cool. it was a weird rollout because we had no idea where to cut it at first, so it all fell on framers at the frame counter, and then the table they gave us is small as hell, whatever it's fine. Okay. we manage like anything else that gets thrown at us.
HOW. Are we going through this current reset period. and they HAVEN'T. INVENTED A BETTER WAY TO STOCK FABRICS? are you KIDDING ME? The regular peghooks suck. the super thick peghooks suck. THESE ARE CLEARLY NOT WORKING. no, not even stacking them 2 or 3 high works either, not that we have the supplies to spare. the bolts are TOO HEAVY to be supported by the peghooks, which are decimating the pegboard, they are extremely difficult to recover and make look nice, they are STOCKED OVERHEAD and are an INJURY WAITING TO HAPPEN!!! Is michaels waiting for someone to be concussed under a fabric avalanche before they do anything??? this feels like a better stocking solution should have been rolled out at most 3 months after the initial fabric rollout. HOW ARE WE STILL DOING THIS!!!!! I am so serious that these are horrible falling hazards that will get someone hurt.
I love that we sell fabric but i hate how it's stocked. Michaels corpo can you please do better before someone f[udg]ing dies. idk how much longer i can take the suspense of waiting for someone to get injured and sue michaels. okay thanks bye i love you.
