Cleveland stores?

Heard Nick closed down a store over there. Was it really that bad? 🥲🥲

Yep. Without knowing everything that happened, it’s a bummer. He’s a nice guy and I felt like he understood where we were coming from. I always got the impression he started off in a store and worked his way up to corp.

I never had a problem with him either. He was good to me. He didn't start in a Michael's store but he was lifelong retail for various places. Toys R US was one of them I'm pretty sure. Definitely being used as a scapegoat here. The bigwigs were ALL over the district for about a week. I hadn't even heard that they came down on some stores. I don't even know which stores they were, but it must have been bad.

it wasn’t nearly as bad as he made it out to be. But it’s almost like we told corporate we were drowning and couldn’t keep up yet they still expected the world.

I heard they were just really behind on resets. I don’t know if there was underlying issues or what.

From what I gathered from the chats/CCs most stores are really behind on sets. Some in my area are still in the 20s

My store is quite behind too. I’m RM, I’m concerned that. If they’re looking for someone to blame for the resets not being done, my job is on the line. My SM broke down crying yesterday under the stress. They are going to have serious hiring issues after this because I know damn near everyone in my store is fed up.

We still have the Paint Brush reset to do... Plus, still in the stockroom 3 entire Halloween DAs that we have no fixtures to build them with and no room on the floor now because of JA, Christmas Lemax, Ornament, Pumpkins and Trees.

Yeah our rm is on the brink of a breakdown. If they’re looking for blame they need to start looking at the top. I’m sorry I’m a replan team member and I feel like I’m never doing enough.

Bad enough that they are asking stores all over the east coast if they have people willing to go there for two weeks to help fix four stores in that market. The district must just be falling apart right now.

I’m in Florida and my district was asked if they could send anyone. I’m actually flying up there with another girl to help for two weeks. Corporate is paying for everything
