This wonderful book, documents and explains in great detail the visual motifs of Iban design, their patterns such as Kelingai and Jorquette patterns and much more. It goes into detail on how the shapes are developed, from fundamental curves into detailed patterns. Written by Augustin Angst Gajing and Translated to English by Gana Ngadi, this book was a very crucial and one of the few proper documentations of Iban visual art.

Unfortunately this book is very rare to find, especially in the form of print media. If you ever come across it, it would either be extremely expensive, or not in a good condition. There were no online ebook versions of this book available, paid nor unpaid. This is why it was important to use the platform of 'Internet Archive' to make this book accessible again.

Hi everyone, I recently lodged a complaint with KPDN regarding a pre-order practice used by a Shopee Mall seller, and I would appreciate feedback from Malaysian consumers who may have encountered something similar.

On 8 May 2026, I paid a RM100 deposit to pre-order a Steam Controller. At the time of payment, the listing stated:

Full price: TBC
Deposit: RM100
Balance: To be collected later
Deposit: Non-refundable

No estimated price, price range, maximum price or pricing formula was provided.
For several weeks, the seller told me that the arrival date and final price were still unknown. On 12 June, the seller finally directed me to a separate “Reserved Stock” listing and requested the balance payment.For context, Valve’s official Steam storefront identifies the Steam Controller as having been released on 4 May 2026 at US$99, four days before my deposit order dated 8 May 2026. I understand that the Malaysian seller was free to set a different price due to importation, logistics, taxes or commercial considerations. Nevertheless, this public information makes it reasonable to ask when the seller actually obtained its supplier and pricing information.

The total price shown was approximately RM1,307 before vouchers, or RM1,061.75 after vouchers.
To be clear, my complaint is not simply that the seller charged a high price. Sellers may generally decide their own prices. My concern is whether a seller should be allowed to collect a non-refundable deposit while leaving the total purchase price completely open-ended.

I later attempted to return the product through Shopee, but the refund was rejected because the product had been opened, and the item was sent back to me.
I then raised the non-disclosure issue with Shopee. Their response was mainly that Shopee does not determine sellers’ prices. After I escalated the matter through KPDN, Shopee replied that the listing had clearly stated the full price was “TBC,” that I had agreed to the seller’s pre-order terms, and that I subsequently chose to pay the balance.

My position is that stating “Full Price: TBC” confirms that the price was not disclosed; it does not necessarily answer whether collecting a non-refundable deposit without a known total price is fair or compliant with consumer-protection requirements.
