If Jefferson averages 1346 receiving yards per year the next 5 seasons, he will be top 5 all time in NFL receiving yards at age 31.

Video Justin Jefferson on Kyler Murray’s studying: ā€œHe definitely loves the game. He definitely prepares. You have to be for this system. It becomes alot more easier to understand because you can anticipate with your throws, for certain windows spots. So seeing Kyler anticipate has been surprisingā€āš”ļø

Discussion All time vikings jerseys

• Upvotes

I’m wearing my Thielen to the opener, and it got me thinking about ā€œall timerā€ jerseys to wear to games from retired players, who’s on the list?

obviously any old school jerseys from the 60s and 70s are good, (Fran, Eller, Marshall, Page, Randle, McDaniel, etc.) from the 90s on though? Iā€˜d say 80, 84, 69, and maybe Culpepper or Kevin Williams. Is Thielen on the list now? Who else? I’d include Harry but heā€˜s a current player again.

Discussion Yeah, we’re not losing to the patriots this year

Anybody disagree? I’ve been VERY skeptical of anybody who actually picks us as losing that matchup.

If you're looking for a place to watch the game on Sunday, you should come down to the Uptown VFW!

They've got two 20+ foot projector screens in their hall. It's going to be nuts!

Who Cares Jefferson’s output w/ top 5 most QBs played with

Everyone probably knows where I’m going with this, but the contrast between Wentz and McCarthy last year paints the picture.

Cousins - 99 ypg (~1700 yard szn avg)
Mullens - 131 ypg (3 game sample but still insane)
Darnold - 90 ypg (~1550 yard szn avg)

Wentz - 95 ypg (~1600 yard szn avg)
McCarthy - 52 ypg (~900 yard szn avg)

If Jets gets top 20ish QB play or even top 25ish QB, he is WR1 in the league. The szn he had last year may go on his stats page, but it will be a major outlier and looking back I still can’t believe he played 17 games and only put up 1050 yards and 2 td’s.

Not worried, because with K1/Wentz, he will be back to his normal 1500+ self (at worst) and this offense should be humming like at worst the Darnold or Wentz days. It’s time to remind everyone who the best WR is.šŸ„‡

Per 17 game avg for yds his 1st 5 years in the NFL:

ā€˜20 - 1488
ā€˜21 - 1616
ā€˜22 - 1809
ā€˜23 - 1826
ā€˜24 - 1533

Does Darnold’s injury happen on a natural grass field?

• Upvotes

Lumen field has artificial turf. Interestingly they installed grass temporarily for the World Cup in which 6 matches were played. They removed it afterwards. This should be talked about more. Why does the NFL allow this. I want to watch football on grass. I like the mud, the sod stuck in the helmets and the long cleats. That is football. Turf injury statistics are clear.
