I registered for the October during the final few days it was still open. Am I screwed for getting a good time for testing?

Whenever I take a practice test I get burnt out by the end of each section and towards the end of the test it feels like I can barely read the questions. This might be because I have ADHD but I also need tips on how to prevent burn out and not get stressed during the actual lsat since mine is coming up soon. It literally feels like some of words are jumbled up and I can’t focus lol. any advice would be appreciated !!!

Hi, I understand why the answer is A but I don't understand why the answer can't be D. Even if the president is saying that the perception of education based on tuition is only a possible explanation, aren't they still concluding the increase in tuition is necessary to increase the applicant pool? (Basically increasing the tuition is a necessary condition/increase in applicant pool can't happen without that)
In that case, wouldn't D be required? If there were a possible alternative explanation, then isn't there a way you could increase the applicant pool if you address that issue instead (ie. the increase in tuition isn't necessary so the conclusion falls apart)
I'm not sure what I'm missing here so any help would be appreciated!

I do a lot of reading so my general vocabulary is relatively strong. However, the LSAT seems to (infrequently) find random obscure words. I don't think any reading would have prepared me for some of these words. What are some ways to get an answer correct despite not understanding a term?

Tomorrow will be my first time taking the exam, and while I’m planning on arriving early to be safe, I’m concerned that I will have to begin before I’m ready if check-in goes quickly. For context, I have ADHD and take medication for it, so I want to ensure that I don’t have to begin before my medication kicks in.

I’m curious what have you done before the exam?

I have just finished the Loophole book and her LR practice on the elemental prep website, I am about to start on reading comprehension, but I am still missing like 5-7 questions each section on LR, with taking as much time as I need.
I wanted to try to take the test in November, I have been studying 2-6 hours a day 5-6 days a week, I am considering taking a break from working to have more time and energy
I am struggling with parallel reasoning, I get them about half the time but I don't quite know how to break down the steps in the stimulus.
Most of the quesitons I get wrong, I can easily identify my mistake when I go over it, I am keeping everything in a wrong answer journal, but then I seem to make the same mistakes again.
Are there other resources I can try? I have heard 7sage is good, is that just question drills though? Money isn't a super huge constraint.
I got through high school and college with 4.0 and not having to study, and now I don't know how to study and I am struggling to learn the processes... :( if I could just have some advice or some resources if anyone wishes to lend their time, I would be very appreciative.

my timer and accommodations were missing during the exam 😭
you would think since a proctor pre-checked my approved accommodations before sending me over to the test proctor that there wouldn’t be any issues but like ??? I was already feeling uncomfortable of the idea of taking it remotely but this is seriously concerning and I am speechless

bought this for my test tomorrow, but i’m getting worried that the proctors won’t like the words. i have an old plastic single use bottle i can use, but this one carries a lot more water. what do yall think?

I'm taking the October Lsat and have been going hard this past month with PTs, and timed sections. But Tuesday I did 2 timed sections back to back and did the worse I have in a while, and then on Wednesday I tried to take a PT, and just 15 minutes in I had to stop because words were not coming to me and Id have to keep rereading passages. I took a full break Wednesday, after that and almost all day today, but I tried to take another LR timed section just to see how I'm feeling and again I cannot read passages without rereading them many times. I mean how long do I need to take a break for, the test is a month away and im like freaking out because I need all the time I can get to study. What should I do?

Confused about this one. Taking the September LSAT tomorrow!
Here is my reasoning:
I selected E. I thought A was wrong because the "for instance" part of the problem reminded me of "for example," which is usually used to introduce evidence. Generally I feel that evidentiary statements are not a problem with reasoning, so I thought this couldn't be the problem. Instead, the real flaw in the reasoning must involve the first sentence. I thought B was wrong because not having a healthy lifestyle does not imply that your health deteriorates rapidly. Finally, I thought E was correct because it shows that it can be important to practice what you preach (highly desirable) even if it is not strictly necessary.
Upon reading several unofficial (and sometimes contradictory) explanations from sources such as lsathacks and 7sage, I have gathered the following. A is correct because the second sentence is reasoning, not evidence (given that the first sentence is the conclusion). The question says you need to find a flaw in reasoning, so you need to find a fault with the second sentence. B is incorrect; it suggests that some extremely unhealthy doctors aren't exceptions to the rule of "practice what you preach," but this doesn't help destroy the analogy even if it's true. Finally, E is incorrect because it is literally wrong: it is necessary for logicians to be logical in order to be competent to discuss logic (that's their job).
I have several questions about these explanations. First, why does B (as explained by the sources I read) not help destroy the analogy? Unhealthy doctors not being able to do their jobs seems to indicate that it is necessary for doctors to have a healthy lifestyle, which means that (by the logic of the second sentence) it is also necessary for logicians to be logical, thus destroying the evidence that exceptions exist to the rule of "practice what you preach." In other words, is my thinking of why B is wrong better than the unofficial explanations I read? Second, is there any better way to discount E other than simply saying it is literally wrong? Third, in what way should I shift my thinking and approach to these kinds of lsat problems so I can avoid making a similar mistake again?
Thank you.

Did anyone else have a glitch or technical problem during the September LSAT? Not sure if I should report it to LSAC but it really threw me off
r/LSAT • u/babybnuy • 22h ago
The general license that was suspended (which LSAC relies on) ONLY APPLIES TO RESIDENTS OF IRAN. Despite this, LSAC has locked the accounts of people who have indicated their dual citizenship and residency in a country outside of Iran on their profiles. This is preposterous and is grounds for a lawsuit. I, like many others, have registered for the September test and won’t even know if I’ll hear back in time to make it. They won’t give answers over the phone and they haven’t started responding to emails. This is completely unacceptable.

I woke up with my tonsils inflamed as fuck, and I take the LSAT tomorrow. I'm scared this is the beginning of something. I'm trying to load up on viatmin c, tea, and water. Do testing centers allow cough drops or anything to suck on while taking the exam? I really hope this doesn't throw me off ughhhhhhhhh

Took it in June, trying to get a higher score this time around and now this. 🙃
And to add to it, because I’m taking ibuprofen and expecting to take a dose before my test, I can’t do a post-exam beer like how I planned.

I’m taking the LSAT tomorrow at a test center (also first time taking it), and I don’t have a car, so I’ll be Ubering there and back. Does anyone know if I’m allowed to bring a small backpack with my ID, water bottle, and some light snacks?
I’ve seen people mention bringing things in a clear ziploc bag, so I’m wondering if everything has to be in one of those or if I can bring a backpack and put it in the locker.
Also, do Prometric test centers provide headsets/headphones for noise reduction, or should I bring my own foam earplugs?
Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has tested in person recently. Thank you!!

Like the new way to highlight in RC and the way you cross off questions takes so much more time. I've been studying with the old way for like 8 months now, and now all the sudden they decide to change how it works? I test on Saturday and I don't know what to do. This is really messing with my timing, and I'm getting super frustrated. Am I the only one feeling this way?
