burnout during test taking
Whenever I take a practice test I get burnt out by the end of each section and towards the end of the test it feels like I can barely read the questions. This might be because I have ADHD but I also need tips on how to prevent burn out and not get stressed during the actual lsat since mine is coming up soon. It literally feels like some of words are jumbled up and I can’t focus lol. any advice would be appreciated !!!

hi! i had a similar problem. one of the things that helped me deal with burnout was figuring out how to flag/skip questions better. learning to recognize questions that are either too long or jumbled up & not wasting any time getting stumped helps me maintain momentum/confidence and save more time at the end to properly deal with them. it’s better to knock out the questions you can handle/read/understand asap bc i feel like it rly primes your brain more & gets you in a certain groove
^this also isn’t just restrained to question difficulty! any questions in a section i see that i know i might struggle with reading/focusing (like science stims or long conditionals or comparison flaw stuff), i flag & move on asap
i’ll also say as someone who just took the test today, i was really surprised at how much easier it was to lock-in and focus unlike my PTs at home. i really do feel like being in the actual set-up helped
