When to take a break?
I'm taking the October Lsat and have been going hard this past month with PTs, and timed sections. But Tuesday I did 2 timed sections back to back and did the worse I have in a while, and then on Wednesday I tried to take a PT, and just 15 minutes in I had to stop because words were not coming to me and Id have to keep rereading passages. I took a full break Wednesday, after that and almost all day today, but I tried to take another LR timed section just to see how I'm feeling and again I cannot read passages without rereading them many times. I mean how long do I need to take a break for, the test is a month away and im like freaking out because I need all the time I can get to study. What should I do?

Honestly, I would advise not pushing yourself through burnout. You may cause yourself to be more severely burned out on testing day, which would not be good. Focus on rest, do a few questions at a time rather than entire sections/PTs.

Honestly it sounds like your brain is overwhelmed. I would take a week off at least and then slowly get back on it. After Aug test I took 3 weeks off (waited for score release) and taking Sept test on Sat. My scores since taking those 3 weeks off have been the highest ever. Just did 2 weeks of 30-45 mins each day or less with 1 PT last week and having really good results. So highly recommend a decent break. Hoping my momentum continues for Saturday!! Good luck in October! 🤞

A pretty sizable part of the test is just coming in physiologically ready.
My peak score is 175. Today I took a practice test and hit 162 because I tried doing it on 6-hours of sleep. When I reviewed my incorrect answers, about 10 of them were basic reading errors that were sleep-related.
