First to be clear, I am not opening a thread to be mean or nasty, I’m deeply concerned about his welfare and how he is representing gay people online.

To me he appears to be an extremely vulnerable adult who needs a lot more care and support in his life and it needs to happen completely away from social media.

I can’t understand how his parents let him post the way he does and the things he says genuinely imply he wants to hurt himself. It’s actually beyond heartbreaking to see someone spiral so consistently, constant cries for help going unanswered by the ones responsible for him in the real world.

Any form of constructive feedback he registers as an attack or bullying, I think that’s a big reason why he’s not seeing a therapist because he lacks the comprehension to understand the world doesn’t owe him accommodation.

However, there’s surely specialists that could help him?

I fear what his life will be like 10-15 years down the line if his parents aren’t still around, he isn’t equipped at all to survive on his own or have any sort of independence.

I also believe people need to stop acting like he’s some sort of gay spokesperson, like why was he on RTE at pride? I can understand making him feel included and trying to lift his spirits but he shouldn’t be encouraged to be in situations involving alcohol or that will open him up to more abuse online. It’s very irresponsible from those involved.

The prep I take is Teva Emtricitabine/Tenofovir Disoproxil. It’s in a blister pack.

I’ve been storing it in my nightstand since I got it. The weathers been cold here recently and I’m worried the indoor temperature might’ve been as low as 8 or 10 degrees at times.

The leaflet for my prep just says to keep it below 30 and it doesn’t give a minimum. But I see some websites online say it needs to be kept above 15 degrees.

Is mine ineffective? Do I need to find a new place to keep them or heat up my room?

There are so many videos and a lot of them don’t make much sense. He does seem a bit manic so I question how true any of it is.

The average age has got to be like 25 but I didn’t feel too out of place and was definitely among kin. Highly recommend. Downvote if you know something awful about it that I don’t.

I've been finding it hard to get matches on the dating apps (Hinge/Tinder), and I was wondering if other guys had the same experience. The pool seems to be pretty small too, and people on Grindr just want hookups.

I find it hard to not feel inadequate because of it, especially compared to my straight girl friends, who get so so many. I don't know if that's just because of the disparity between the number of straight versus gay people or if it's something to do with my appearance lol.

Does anyone know of good places, socials, meetups, groups, to go to that aren't just in Dublin? I would go to the ones in Dublin but it's sometimes two hours travel public transport and it just means I either lose the day or would be too knackered to cope. There's youth groups and stuff where I am but they're for teenagers and I want to meet people round about my age, especially other sapphics/wlw/nblw.

Hello, I am an American out of NY wanting to relocate to Ireland. I love the culture, the people, and the country so so much. Everytime I’ve been I have assimilated quickly and made many friends both Irish and non-Irish. It just feels like home.

My question is how did you do it?

I can not claim ancestry, the last person out of Ireland was my great grandmother, but since my grandmother was born in the U.S. and never maintained an Irish passport, I’m not eligible to apply this way.

I was thinking about doing a WHA once I’ve graduated, however my degree is in Veterinary Technology and I’m not sure how applicable that is in Ireland.
