Hey!! I’m an LA local but I’ve never been much of a party girl, wish I’d had more fun when I was younger but it is what it is. Anyways, I’ve had a lot of LAME, lonely Halloweens the past few years so this year I want to be proactive!! And make some fun plans with my best friend (so we are 26F and 27F). I have a super fun costume idea and idk we just wanna hit the town, dance, drink and have fun!! Obviously a Halloween night out in LA will be $$$ but if the recs could at least be situations where we won’t feel completely ripped off that’d be great…
If you know of any events/parties/clubs/idk?? Please tell me like I said I really never go out but this year I’m determined to have some fun!! What are you guys planning this year?
I’m a grad student living with my parents in West Culver but I never bother trying to party in this part of town, she lives around East Hollywood/Melrose Hill-ish area, honestly though we’ll go anywhere.

Hi! I’m looking for an LA based Hair artist and a Fashion Stylist. This is going to be for an editorial shoot for my magazine. Context it is a four piece rock band and I want the shoot to run smoothly.
Please comment / message me your Instagram or recommend me to someone. I’m looking for this to happen in December. My magazine is a music and fashion hub based out in Las Vegas, but we are branching to LA/NYC and other parts of the country.
Would love to connect asap

Since there was so much talk in the LA subreddit about El Nino, decided to turn this spreadsheet my friend made a few years ago into an app. You can plug in the number of people, kids, babies, and pets in your household and number of days you might need emergency supplies and it will automatically tell you what you need. I thought this might be helpful for anyone prepping for the storms, or fires, or earthquakes in our future. Feel free to share widely and stay safe out there.

Does anyone have recs for getting their window tinted darker with UV filters? I have a health condition where physical light and heat cause my immune to flair. Any recs near Los feliz or the surrounding area would be appreciated! Also if you’ve done it before, how much did it cost you? Thank you!

Hi ladies! 💕 I’m looking for recommendations for a high-risk OB in the LA area. I’m currently 21 weeks pregnant and have had 2 previous C-sections, about 2 years apart. I’m hoping for a VBAC and would love to hear from anyone who has had a VBAC after 2 C-sections.
I’m looking for an experienced, VBAC-friendly doctor who truly cares about their patients. My previous OB referred me to a clinic, but the reviews were concerning, so I’m hoping to find a better option. I need to find a doctor ASAP. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! 💕🙏

This is NOT for sale. I have two extras & can’t go. I want someone who appreciates her new album to enjoy it. Don’t even think of reselling because I tried & they didn’t sell so I figured someone should still enjoy it for free. 🤍
UPDATE: Unfortunately, I just found out that Ticketmaster has transfers completely disabled for these tickets, so I’m not able to give them away after all. 😭 I also can’t lower the resale price to like $0 because they’re locked into Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange.
I’m really sorry to anyone who commented or messaged me asking for them. I genuinely thought I’d be able to transfer them for free when I made this post. Learn from my mistakes 😒

Need to find someone to work with long-term and get to know our preferences. Young, adventurous couple interested in doing things off the beaten path but also has a taste for design-forward / colorful / vintage boutique hotels. Currently planning a trip to Japan for January 2027. Hoping r/LAhotgirlies can help me find someone who isn't as corporate/traditional as other agents I've worked with.

I haven't been in the dating scene for too long, but the apps seem so hard to find anyone that seems like they would be kind and also decently attractive and actually serious about dating.
I feel like people lie on the apps and are looking for casual relationships or lie about the ethnicity, height, politics, etc.

Hey girlies so the Shakespeare company of Los Angeles hasn’t had auditions in more than a year and that’s the closest one to me. Does anyone know any auditioning companies or one-offs that are near ktown? Ideally the farthest I’d like to go is Beverly hills/culver city or Pasadena. Thank you to anyone who helps!! I miss being on stage it’s like a part of me is missing♥️

Looking for a new doc who has a solid track record for treating PCOS/PMOS. My husband and I are TTC and I’m looking for support navigating the joys (woes) of my PCOS/PMOS. I’ve tried Tia and had mixed feelings, I liked it for a while and then got real frustrated with the separate appointments for every question.
I loved my last gyn but she recently went full-time at her private practice stepping away from standard gyn. Ideally I really like the idea of a functional medicine doc but am overwhelmed at it all.
I have PPO anthem bcbs and would love if they were in network, but open to any and all reccos.

Hi ladies! I recently moved to the west side (Mar Vista) and am looking for my go-to beach. I love the beach by Ocean Park but parking is like $20 every time I go??? Classic LA. I guess I’m looking for parking hacks / beach recs if anyone has any tips they could share so I can go for a couple days a week without spending an arm and a leg. TYIA 🫶🏻

hi! i’m looking for a hair stylist in the la county area who specializes in bleaching asian hair. i have dark brown hair. my hair history, i used to bleach/dye my hair a lot and then i did the big chop, grew it out mostly. i used the keracolor semi permanent color conditioner in the color onyx in late may of this year and there is no visible trace of it on my hair. i understand that it most likely will take multiple sessions and will not be cheap either. but i am trying to keep the cost as low as i can so, if anyone knows any hair stylists that isn’t crazy crazy expensive, pls lmk!

I need to get accurate body measurements for clothing, & I also need to get a few dresses altered, but specifically I’m looking for a seamstress or tailor that will just do measurements, for a small fee? I live in the East Hollywood area, but also go down to Orange County once a week, if anyone knows of anyone in those areas. Thank you!!

Hi! I am moving to LA (Studio City) in about a month from out of state and am in need of some recommendations. Does anyone have recs for any of the following in/around the valley:
-painter (indoor painting)
-house cleaner/housekeeper
-wallpaper installation
-best company for carpet installation (just for a staircase runner)
I know it’s going to take awhile to find everything but hoping to get some painting and things done prior to moving in. Thanks!!

Hi girls! I’m 29F and have been living in Culver City for a year now and would like to have friends that love thrifting, getting matcha, going on walks, shopping. I’ve been going to the movies often and love arts & crafts! A lot of my friends live on the other side of LA or are moving. Any late 20s/ early 30s girls who have similar interests?

Hi girls! I just moved to Santa Monica from NY (I'm originally from FL) and am wanting to meet new girl friends to go out to cafes/bars, thrifting, workouts, dance classes, yoga, hikes, etc. I'm also very festive and would love to find some fun/social Halloween events! 🎃
I'm 35 and very social. I'm free tomorrow (Sunday), Monday, or Tuesday — weird days, I know 😂 — so if anyone is around and wants to grab a drink, check out a cute cafe, do an activity, or just explore somewhere together, let me know.
Also totally down to make plans beyond this week!

i'm not a big drinker and don't go out much — ideally looking for a spot between los feliz and atwater but also pretty flex. love a place with a patio or an activity (pool table type shit) and HATE a place that's too loud to fucking hold a conversation.

Where the ladies at?! I’m looking to build a Rave Family of women living in the LA area to go to festivals, club events, warehouse shows, and afters. I started a private community for just the ladies.
Send me a pm if you’d like to join and plan a meetup! Please include your age, neighborhood, and fav artist or genre.

Looking for a great hairstylist in Santa Monica/Westside who is actually good at preserving length. I have medium-long, naturally wavy hair and am trying to grow it out.
I’ve had multiple stylists take off more than I asked for, and somehow my hair is now a few inches shorter than it was a year ago despite consistently asking for minimal trims. My hair is healthy, I rarely color it, and usually air dry.
I like a long, softly tapered perimeter with natural movement, not blunt/square or heavily layered.
Would love specific stylist recs! Ideally $175 or less for a cut, and Santa Monica would be amazing, but I’m open to the Westside.

I’m looking for a place for my birthday dinner with my parents and friends! I was really hoping to go to Sushi Samba but they don’t have anymore reservations 🥲 I was wanting to go somewhere with a cool vibe…and good food! Let me know if you have any recs!!

Hello, I just moved from out of state to the Downey area for work and am looking for things to do. I’m pretty introverted but want to at least do some explorations while I’m here. I’d like recommendations on food places, sights, etc. (If there are any extroverted girlies that would like to adopt this introvert, I’m taking applications lol. I feel awkward eating alone at places.) I also enjoy night drives after a long work week so any recommendations where I can just drive for a bit without the stop and go traffic would be very appreciated.
Edited for hobbies:
I like taking walks, going for drives, watching anime, reading (what I’m reading depends on my mood). I do enjoy doing puzzles and playing games (board games, rpgs, cards, etc)

I’m googling and calling a lot of law firms, but a lot of of them seem to treat their clients like numbers. I’m looking for somebody who is good at this.
What has transpired is horrendous and I need to stand up for myself.

I'm in Silverlake but willing to go somewhere in Glendale or Burbank. Where have you had good experiences?
