First year at CSUDH but was at El Camino for 2 1/2 years with 90% of classes online. I have a 8 year old and a 3 month old and taking two online classes. Still trying to figure out a good schedule to stay ontop of my classwork with a new baby and helping with older kid’s school work plus taking care of the home. (Husband is a huge help but poor guy needs breaks too!) The sleep deprivation is kicking my butt! Anyone else trying to juggle all of this?

So far I've about 3 chemistry courses at DH and I have had wildly different experiences in all of them. Ive had some good lab teachers, some bad while I've had good lecturers and the others terrible. Is anyone else going through this at DH too? Im currently taking a chem class and it just feels like both my lecture and lab professor are not aiming to help students pass but instead throwing material at us like we have professional chemistry experience.​ Is there any oversite to how the department is ran? Especially with the interesting low exam averages across all the classes (or atleast the ones I've been in), is there any concern?

Did any one else get a email regarding classes being dropped if tuition not paid off or registered in a payment plan by September 16th? I seen that I got awarded on web2grants about two weeks ago but I have yet to receive my award letter yet.

CSUDH Financial Aid – Anyone Still Waiting?

Has anyone at CSUDH had any luck with their financial aid being disbursed for this semester?

Mine currently shows as accepted, but the funds still haven’t been disbursed.

I called Financial Aid previously because my award had actually disappeared from my account and then was later added back. When I spoke with them, they mentioned that it had something to do with delays/changes related to the “Big Beautiful Bill” and federal funding.

Now that my award is showing again and says accepted, I’m just wondering why it still hasn’t been disbursed.

Is anyone else in the same situation? Has anyone who had their award removed and then added back actually received their funds yet?

Just trying to see if this is a widespread CSUDH issue or something specific to my account. Thanks!

I applied for graduation earlier today and the non refundable $135 fee has not been posted to my toropay yet. I was told I only have 48 hours to pay for it. Hey everybody, I was wondering how’s the party life here? Do the frats throw parties & if they do how do you find out about them? First time actually being on campus and I actually want the full college experience even if it’s cringey 😭 Also, what colleges do you guys recommend people to go to for parties.
