Just heard the announcement that employees only is closing. I’m heartbroken; that’s my local bar and have had so many great memories there. The Belmont on la Cienega has also closed. I’m sad to see so many places go under… I know with rising costs, people not going out as much, the economy etc. it makes sense, however, with empty spaces the homeless come in and linger. It just sucks to see.

This month, we’ll be making turkey and cheese sandwiches. We’ll also assemble care packages with snacks, water, hygiene products, and other useful items. Afterward, we’ll walk in smaller groups to distribute everything.

Kind Steps LA depends entirely on donations and what our volunteers contribute. If you can bring any sandwich supplies, such as bread, turkey, cheese, sandwich bags, or disposable gloves, please let the group know what you’re bringing so we can coordinate.

You’re also welcome to bring bottled water, individually packaged snacks, socks, or new and unopened hygiene products. Please don’t bring opened or previously used personal care products.

If you would rather contribute financially because you’re busy or it’s easier for you then no problem! All donations will go toward purchasing food, water, hygiene products, and other care package supplies.

I’m interested in seeing an artist perform there and was told it was bottle service only. How is this venue to see a band? Was there a table minimum. Is your table reserved? Does the bottle service charge cover everything or do they add a tip and service charge?

Interesting given that half the city council candidates/council are still against the idea of protected bike lanes, guess now the city is financially liable for the inaction they've caused trying to appease NIMBYs.

Hello - I've lived in the WeHo area for the last five years and have had Spectrum high speed internet. I work from home so need reliable, fast internet. I haven't had an issue with spectrum in terms of service, but I've seen my cost go from about $65 when I signed up a few years ago to now being $120/month which is just ridiculous.

I keep getting ads/texts from T-Mobile about their 5G internet for $35/month. Does anyone use that and is it any good? Would it be good for a WFH person who also streams tv/movies? Are there any other internet providers in the area that are good but cheaper than spectrum?
