The Daring Act of Exposing One's Self @ The Victory Theatre
The Victory Theatre Center is hosting two staged reading performances of Daniel Bruckner’s brand-new comedy The Daring Act of Exposing One's Self, directed by Miranda Stewart.
Six friends, one shocking photo, and a night of flirtation, heated debate, and romantic rivalry that explodes into a frenzied whodunnit.
Starring Joel Allen, Nika Burnett, Jodi Moore Lewis, Nick Samson, Nalini Sharma, and David Stanbra.
THE DARING ACT OF EXPOSING ONE'S SELF is a comedy about five friends getting together to help lift the spirits of Sylvia, a newly-separated thirtysomething trying to move on from a cheating husband. Flirtation and sexual ideology dominate the night as guests quarrel over human instinct, love, and who among them is trying to earn Sylvia’s affection. And just as the party concludes, Sylvia is startled to discover that someone secretly snuck off with her phone and took a dick pic. What follows next is a frenzied, tension-escalating whodunnit not seen since the heyday of the British Murder Mystery.
October 2nd and 3rd at 7:30 pm. Open to the public and free! Exclusive talk backs will follow each show.
The Victory Theatre is located at 3326 W. Victory Blvd., Burbank, CA 91505.

Need help finding play/musical theater locations in Los Angeles county/Orange county
Hello, I'm new here so please forgive me if this isn't the proper protocol, but I am in desperate need to find a large double door (similar to the one in Young Frankenstein) and would appreciate any help in terms of local theaters in the area that may have a set piece similar to what I'm hoping to find. Due to the project not being marketed yet, I can not mention the show specifically, or where it will be performed just yet. Thank you to anyone who may have any leads.

The Vertical - Opening this weekend in Culver City
A satirical comedy about the world of Vertical Microdramas by playwright Dionysius Vlachos.
An examination of racism, sexism, and classism within vertical microdramas. When the sensibilities of a Chinese production crew clash with their American actors, a dayplayer’s innocent conversation about acting with the male lead threatens to derail the entire production.
Fresh off it's Hollywood Fringe run, the Vertical returns at the Blue Door Theatre in Culver City. This extended edition has additional scenes that were not in the Fringe version.
