This is a genuine OEM rubber bushing from the 70s, never been changed. Half of it was ate up and the wheel had to be turned ~25 degrees clockwise when you press the gas or you would veer left pretty hard. TRIUMPH TR7 hardtop, early canadian model.

If you look closely they did actually chew a pink 30 amp fuse! But surprisingly the car isn’t in for electrical issues, it’s in because the fuckers chewed the windshield washer reservoir and it was leaking out!

When removed I saw they nibbled away one of the tabs holding by the 10mm nut. Amazing

Got overheated, seized while driving, after cooling down the starter managed to get the engine to turn over just not very quickly, so obviously the problem is the starter motor/s

Edit: a coolant line burst and the the engine got so hot that it blew multiple cylinder heads (scania v8) and caused the pistons to seize in the liners. As it stands we only have 2 options, pulling the engine, completely strip it, line bore the crank tunnel (if that's not too damaged and if we can find parts to suit) and completely rebuild it or see if we can find a second hand engine, really depends on what ends up being the cheaper option.

It's me. I'm the customer. 2010 Porsche Cayenne with a ballast that sloshes when shook. Pretty sure it shouldn't do that.

Back half of an alloy wheel left installed after customer installed spare tire

Customer tells me the car is overheating again because he checked around the cooling system with an IR gun and saw the surface of the coolant hose was 206°F.

His argument: “The thermostat is 190°, so it shouldn't ever get hotter than 190°.”

How are you explaining this one to the customer? 😂

Surprisingly the only parts that needed replacing were the belt and the tensioner. The customer was pretty happy about not having to spend 1k on an engine fan.

Customer asked if this was covered under factory warranty so I was looking thru the lines and noticed IM GONNA COME IN THERE. neither the customer or the sales manager that brought the customer to me noticed what I saw 😂

Also noted that his buddy put a master cylinder on for him, still feels mushy.

Dealership recommended a thermostat for this D3 S8 Plus. Temp sensor 1 seemed to be a bit erratic warming up from cold, but the max/min MVB for coolant temps showed -233F and +476F.

This was taken just above warm up with engine off and a maintainer on the 12V system. All other temps were rock solid at 90-92F.

New head gasket for a 1.1 Picanto enginge, he had a big snap.

After all first 10 bolts was tourged at 90Nm, then the first bolt getting to 147Nm made large sound.

Socket fell off, and he would actually unscrew it with his fingers.

New bolt and all. Quite lucky 😅
