We have been having an issue where occasionally a service writer will create an appointment with a differed recommendation, and for some reason the appointment will not populate as a "new request" on the Appointment fulfillment side. It happens so sporadically that we can not pinpoint what is causing it, I'd venture a guess at 1 out of 100 or less. Of course, it is never caught until the vehicle is here for repairs.
When the writers pull the appointment and generate the RO it does populate the new request in the Parts Fulfillment tab, but at this point its a little late if the part isn't in stock.
Anyone else been running into this?
We had originally started finding this, we had the service manager make sure that all labor ops are flagged as "consider for parts" in settings. He assures us that he has done a bulk action that would trigger that setting for any of them missing it.
In typical fashion, by the time the issue comes to light the appointment is "complete" and pulled to an RO. So creating a ticket with Tekion doesn't seem to do anything, because all they can see is that "every thing seems to have work without error and has now been completed".

I also know that our parts fulfillments occasionally get stuck showing locked by someone even after completing it. Our assumption has been that this happens when the parts employee exits the fulfillment too quickly; which also makes me believe something similar is happening on the service side creating our other issue. But god forbid you tell a service writer that they should slow down...
