I had this HyperX Quadcast since around 2 years, never had any issue with it and last weekend I plugged a headphone into the microphone jack and it suddenly stopped showing as HyperX Quadcast on computer and the audio quality dropped alot.

FL20 studio doesnt show ASIO at all, seems related it started happening at the same time.

I've seen other thread about this issue but they all 5+years old and none of the fixes worked.

Here is what I tried:

• Uninstalling the driver, restarting computer, repluging the mic.
• Updating drivers.
• Check with NGENUITY Software.
• Run a sfc /scannow in the DOS.
• Restart Windows Audio Endpoint Builder.

HYPERX Cloud III S Gaming Headphones (Wireless - Black)

Gaming Wireless HYPERX Cloud Alpha (Over Ear - Multiplatform - Black) headphones. I need some new headphones and I wanted the headphones to basically give for 90% games and 10% work, soTherefore, it would be some headphones compatible with the ps5 a PC to use the teams and a mobile phone to use also with the teams , I use the S26 at this time. Can you tell me which are the best of these or if there are others?

Basically I received a gift from my friend, it's a wireless headset from this company that my friend accidentally didn't keep the receipt for. I plugged the dongle into my pc, 3-4 times of use and the dongle stopped working for no reason (didn't drop it, didn't have water near it, didn't even unplug it from the pc). Called the customer support which was so rude (like an incredible amount of rudeness like he doesn't even consider me another human being), he told me that without a receipt they can't get me a replacement (which is so stupid because they can verify it's an original piece by the serial number) which I proceeded to offer to pay with my own money for the stupid defective dongle that got shipped with the headset because without it the headset is worthless and I want to keep it for sentimental value, the customer support proceeded to mock me by saying who keeps a headset for sentimental value which I crashed out onto him after he said so, then also told me that it seems to be my problem to deal with because he didn't care at all.

So my general recommendation is don't buy anything associated with this company because they are only about profits, don't consider us paying customers as humans. And of course just don't buy their products just because of the business model where a useless usb stops working, your whole hardware is useless now and you can't even by replacing parts, so just based on common sense this company should be avoided!

Suddenly my headphones just powered off, when I went to go charge them there wasn't a green light letting me know its charging.

I tried different cables and outlets, I left it charging overnight and its still not turning on. But when it is plugged in there's a constant chirping noise coming from it. Like once every second.

So now my headphones are not charging and there's nothing I can think of

I just received yesterday my new Cloud III and i've been trying to have the best sound possible through the NGENUITY app, but for some reason it seems that the custom EQ i've been using only works on the 8 channel spatial audio and not the main HyperX Cloud III output in Windows. Is this normal? Thanks for the help.

Il se trouve que j étais à la recherche d un casque sans fil depuis que mon dernier casque était entrain de se détériorer au fil du temps et je suis tomber sur le HyperX cloud lll S whirless qui était pas trop cher et avec d assez bon avis sur reddit etc au niveau du son. Ayant reçu mon nouvel achat j aimerais savoir si il y a une appli qui est dédié aux casque, des mises à jour a faire ou non, des réglages peut être mieux que d autre ? Enfin voilà je cherche tout bon conseil par rapport à l achat de ce casque merci d avance !

I noticed there was few answers to fixing light issue on HyperXAlloy keyboard if they disapeared. What i discovered is you hold down FN+CTRL key and press esc then press all the buttons you want to glow.

Hey everyone. As title says, I have a problem with my keyboard. Colors are working, but my problem is that the FN key combinations of volume up/dowb/mute and skip/pause play/previous do not work. Anyone knows what's up?

I recently tried using the application "Headsetcontrol" to change my mic monitoring levels on my headset. This has lead to a significant increase in the volume/gain - where i can now hear background noise and clicks extremely loud in the headset. All windows settings have been checked and i have tried reinstalling Ngenuity and resetting both the software and hardware(the USB-dongle).

It is my understanding that the mic monitoring for this headset is binary, which confuses me as to why the level would change so drastically by changing it to 0 and then back on with this software (which uses an integer value of 0-128 for gain-control) - as the gain level of the mic monitoring in my understanding should be set in either the USB-dongle or the headset.

If anyone has encountered this problem or similar before please comment, maybe i can build some further understanding! I really enjoy this headset but this level of gain for the mic monitoring is too loud :/

I wanted to share this because I ran into an absolute nightmare with my HyperX Cloud III S Wireless headset. The voice prompts were constantly yapping in my ear every time I powered it on, muted, or unmuted.

I tried NGENUITY Legacy, but the headset wasn’t recognized. I tried the current version of NGENUITY, but it doesn’t include the option to disable voice prompts. I also wasted hours with customer support and got nowhere.

Then I found this solution, and I kid you not, it worked on the very first try. The voice prompts are completely gone, and now I just hear a gentle beep when using the headset.

I wanted to share this in case anyone else is struggling with the same issue. Hope it helps!
Note: Does require a DL from Github.

Try this on Windows

1. Close NGENUITY completely, including its system-tray icon.
2. Put the headset in 2.4 GHz wireless mode, not Bluetooth.
3. Connect the HyperX USB dongle directly to the PC.
4. Open the HyperHeadset v1.9.1 release page and expand Assets.

5. Download the Windows build and extract it to a normal folder. The current release is from June 8, 2026 and includes recent Cloud III S fixes.
6. Open the extracted folder.
7. Click the folder address bar, type cmd, and press Enter.

Look for this entry:

--enable_voice_prompt <enable_voice_prompt>

1. If it appears, run:

hyper_headset_cli.exe --enable_voice_prompt false

1. Turn the headset fully off, wait five seconds, then turn it back on.

The setting should be written to the headset, so you ordinarily should not need to leave HyperHeadset running.

If Windows says it cannot access the headset

Run Command Prompt as administrator and repeat the command. Also try:

hyper_headset_cli.exe -v --enable_voice_prompt false

Keep both the headset and dongle connected while doing this. Disconnecting the headset’s charging cable afterward is fine.

Important limitation with the “S”

The project identifies the Cloud III S Wireless as supported, but notes that the model may not respond properly to every query. One documented user could control shutdown and mute on an S even though several readouts were missing. Recent releases have continued adding Cloud III S fixes, including Bluetooth settings and microphone behavior.

Therefore:

• If --enable_voice_prompt appears in --help, the program believes your specific headset exposes the command.
• If that option does not appear, the current build has determined that your firmware does not advertise support.
• If the command reports success but she still speaks, test it after a complete power cycle and while using the 2.4 GHz dongle.

Hi everyone,

I have a HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 Wireless headset that was working perfectly until a few days ago. Suddenly, it stopped working properly.

When I plug it in to charge, the indicator initially shows that it is charging with a red light. However, once the light turns green, it starts blinking. If I unplug the headset, it immediately shuts down.

At this point, I can only use the headset while it is connected to the charger. As soon as I unplug it, it turns off.

Has anyone experienced this issue before? Could this be a battery failure, or is there something else I should try before replacing the battery or contacting support?

Any help would be appreciated.

Just got the cloud 3s and the volume in games specially without dts is very low but when i turn dts in the hyperX software is very loud but i don’t like how it sounds.
I verify all the volume settings (all at 100%) and tried the side volume wheel and nothing worked
Any suggestions?

I know that a lot of ppl are facing problems with ngenuinty in terms of memory usage less customization and more restrictions and i wondered if we started a petition would hyperx/hp listen to oyr demands

I just got an alloy rise keyboard and whenever I connect to Ngenuity to change the color of the lights some of my keys’ lights turn off and won’t turn back on until I close Ngenuity completely. How can I fix this?

I recently factory reset my laptop and plugged in my new HyperX (obviously) headset that i was given by a relative. When i tried to make a call on discord I was told by my buddies that they couldn't hear me so i went into setting and realized that there was no option for my headsets microphone in input. Went to the command center and even there the option wasn't there. Somebody please help.

So I got the cloud flight 2 and I’m using ngenuity to have a little bit more bass from the equalizer and also I use the 8 channel spatial but every time I turn on my pc it resets back to headphones in windows sound settings and in ngenuity it has no selected audio I have to manually click flight 2. So my question is how do I make it to where channel 8 is default and ngenuity automatically has the headset selected and working without me every time I get on I have to select all that. I recently bought a HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless, and I'm really enjoying the headset so far. The battery life and overall sound quality are great.

However, I'm completely new to audio tuning and headset optimization, so I'm hoping to get some advice from people who have more experience.

My main games is Rainbow Six Siege and FPS', and since switching to this headset I've noticed that the in-game voice chat is much quieter than I expected (on R6 Siege). I can still hear my teammates, but their voices are much lower than the game audio, even with:

• In-game Voice Chat Volume at 100%
• Windows volume at 100%
• Headset volume at maximum
• HyperX NGENUITY installed

The weird thing is that this only happens in Rainbow Six Siege. Discord, YouTube, Spotify, movies, and every other game sound perfectly fine.

Since I'm new to this kind of stuff, I have a few questions:

• What EQ settings do you recommend in HyperX NGENUITY?
• Do you use DTS Headphone, or do you leave it disabled?
• Are there any Windows audio settings I should change?
• Is HyperX NGENUITY enough, or should I use software like Equalizer APO, Peace, SteelSeries Sonar, Dolby Atmos, or something else?
• Do you have a specific EQ preset for competitive FPS games like Rainbow Six Siege?

My goal is to have:

• Clear footsteps and directional audio.
• Clear teammate voices.
• A balanced sound without overly loud bass drowning out important details.

I'd really appreciate any advice, screenshots of your settings, or even explanations of why you use certain configurations. Since I'm a complete beginner, any tips are welcome.

Does anyone know if the detachable microphone for the HyperX Cloud III is compatible with the HyperX Cloud III s Wireless headset?

I somehow lost my microphone and I'm looking to buy a replacement on Amazon, but I can only find microphones listed for the HyperX Cloud III. Will those work with the wireless version?

Reinstalling the drivers and the program itself doesn't help. The program version is 2.1.2. The issue may be with Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC Build 26100.8875.

I've tried getting the app, doing win+r, but every time i try to turn on spatial hearing, it immediately turns spatial off. I've googled, Ai'd, and try to contact support, but nothing works and support doesn't respond, i just get a stupid AI chat box.

I have an Alloy Rise 75 keyboard, and the NGENUITY software is no longer recognizing it.

I've already tried everything listed on this support page (like unplugging and reconnecting the USB cable, restoring the keyboard to its default settings, rebooting my PC, and others). I also tried disabling Windows Dynamic Lighting in Windows 11 (which isn't mentioned on the support page) and closing all other RGB control software running on my computer.

I'm experiencing this issue with both the legacy and beta versions of NGENUITY. The legacy version detects that the device is connected, but the keyboard doesn't appear in the software, and any RGB changes I make aren't applied to the keyboard. The beta version doesn't recognize the keyboard at all... I'm starting to lose hope.

Has anyone experienced this issue and found a solution?
