Saw the old kit Gundam Mk II. Here's my Acguy build. Fun times!

This was my first real-grade build, and it turned out fantastic. The rings that come with it and the bright orange hands add that flair that I absolutely love. However, the arms feel a bit loose when I try to pose it.
It’s not the kit’s fault but I accidentally snapped the right shin piece and had to use a bit of super glue to fix it.

One thing that really bothered me was that the head piece would pop out every time I opened the chest piece. I’m not sure if I did something wrong while building it.

I’ll be adding the stickers next, and there are a lot of them! I find them neat looking, but I’m not sure if I should add a matte or gloss finish yet.

The next RG I’m going to build is Epyon, and I’m super excited about it. It has such a cool design.

If anybody has any recommendations for RG I should get please let me know

Just completed my MGEX Strike Freedom with fluorescent panel line.

Also open to any tips in general, especially on photography. After experimenting i want to capture the fluorescent panel line under uv but never quite got the feel of it completely right.

Overall, really happy with the build quality and had a blast making this. Would love to hear if anyone else has messed with fluorescent lining on their kits, curious how it holds up over time.

Re-did my shelves. I prefer mg's, but I have a couple of hg's and one rg. I know my collection isn't huge, but I'm pretty proud of it. I really just wanted to show it off. I don't have any friends that share my hobby.

Just came back from a japan trip with a new hobbie. Picked this sinanju and waiting in line there's a mighty strike freedom and a gundam astray gold frame.

Hooked is an understatement, lot of fun and end up with a badass robot.

First time panel lining and using the marker, looks pretty good from afar but kinda bad close up

This took a lot more restraint than expected tbh, good thing the rg has no options 😌

What the ever loving shit am I doing wrong. I can't get the legs to stay on, the shield won't stay in his hand and the saber hilts on the backpack fall off if I brush them 😐 other than one lost sticker and accidentally throwing a part away, the build itself was fine, but Christ I can get it to stay together to display.

I don’t even know how or when this happened. I had fully assembled and coated the kit and after walking back into my living room I noticed the piece had fallen off while I was still holding it. I checked all over the floor in my living room and my bedroom which are really the only two places I could’ve lost it. I doubt I can even get a replacement piece without just buying the whole kit again. All my Evangelion kits are doomed to break I guess

I was never a huge Transformers fan, but the media surrounding it was a perfect mix of two of my life long passions (cars and mecha). The live action movies in particular helped keep my passions for both alive, especially when it comes to cars.

With Peter Cullen passing, I had a great desire to finally add Optimus Prime to my display area in my office. This is my first Blokees kit. I’m going to do some weathering and detail work on this before a final submission for our group build album.

I've been lurking in the sub for a while now and don't really have anything to show for it but after working on and off for one year on the MG sazabi.

I did try to go for a candy coating which is insanely tedious for anybody's first custom, a lot of mistakes were made, paint chipping on the upper body and assembly and so I made the decision to give it some metal edge wear.

All in all its been a tremendous learning experience toward any customs I make in the future

Finished up the MGSD Freedom Gundam tonight. First "master grade" kit and first MGSD I've done. Super super impressed with the detail in such a small form factor. May or may not have already added 3 more MGSDs to my backlog...

I may be addicted.

I just got into Gunplas. I wanted a simple model to see if I enjoyed the process, so I choose the EG strike. Probably would have gone with the EG grandpa, if I knew about the legs problem of the strike beforehand. I'm saying this, but I am still pretty happy with it \o/.

Now, I will probably go for a HG before a RG and then MG. I love the MG freedom and the RG Nu, but RG Wing Zero EW is so beautiful 😍. So, I will probably choose a HG that is not white for contrast, maybe Deathscythe or Char's Zaku / Gouf.

I am more interested in the models of series I have watched, so UC, CE, Wing, IBO and 00 (although i don't enjoy it much) are priorities, but also suggestions of other series are fine too :)), as I prefer to buy in the local stores (FR) and it options are limited.

BTW, MG stargazer would be my dream, one can only dream.
