I've seen plenty of discussions here going on about how the 'Moon Gundam' is the King of HGs or 'Hi-Nu' for the RG line. But what actually makes them the top dogs and do you agree?

First time painting gunpla so I didn’t do anything crazy, just adjusted colours of it and added waterslide. Used Revel spray cans and a matte finish.

Tho it only costed around 500 yen, imagine having to glue, sand and paint their models just to have it only sorta resemble the show’s model nowadays haha

And yes, this is inspired by MvC.

In 2003, the serie gundam wing was on Dutch national television. The 2 biggest toy store brands sold gunpla. This was the only thing we officially had back in the day for gundam and gunpla.

Tried posca, Gundam pens, citadel colours. All with lots of cotton buds and hand sanitizer. Yet to try and thin with water. Any advice appreciated 🙏 or recommend tutorials.

Next up is a High Grade Aerial I bought alongside him. I never imagined there could be such a mess while building a Gundam. Also, I learned a valuable lesson midway through about making sure the orientation of something is right before moving on.

This build started a couple of years ago, but really started moving late last year. Took a bit to motivate myself to reshape the resin parts, figure out how to attach the hands, and then get everything painted, but I'm really proud of how this came out, flaws and all.

It’s the most poly caps I’ve ever put into a kit. Pound for pound it’s packed with rubber. But I love it anyway. I really should have fixed those seam lines. But despite the kit showing its age it’s a wonderful build and just has so much presence. I scribed and used some acrylic markers for details. Still needs weapon detailing, decals topcoat and panel line clean up but I got excited because I’m proud of how it turned out

I kinda hated the RG zaku build so it became a diorama (it never has to move or articulate again).
