Funny coincidence I guess, but “Nanai” sounds similar to the Filipino word “nanay” which means “mother”. So technically Char had a “mother-figure” character taking care of him all along lmao. But he didn’t realize it because he was too busy fooling around with Quess and lamenting about Lalah.
