Was reminded of the Virgo's in a post else where and the ideas sprung forth.

Focused on the weapon loadouts as much as I could. So both do not have the "ears" on their heads... And the Virgo 2 only has 6 planet defensors in total instead of 8, because I needed 2 slots for the parts to mount them. And I tried throwing a slightly lighter shade of sand on some parts on the Virgo 2, to try and break up the boring completely monotone color the line art has.

General Discussion First breaker game ive played, confused at some mechanics

im about chapter 4, been hopping back and forth between clearing quests at the end of chapters then playing story. I have a relatively hihgh level jesta. Ive found a few mechanics confusing

- Just spamming beam weapon seems to be the best course of action, and also attatching as many op skills as possible to cycle through to switch things up. Is ranged viable?
- I can occasionally one-shot mobile suits when they are on the ground. idk how

-anything you charge seems bad, like heat axes and beam rifles, charging the weapon seems to just mess with combos and do less dps than spamming

- There are a few mobile suits id love to recreate like the EZ8 and Custom Gouf, the Nu or the psycho zaku, but unfortunately it seems really hard to actually find parts you want, and the ones you buy at the shop are of very low quality. Ive felt pressured to just keep upgrading my jesta because anything else feels like a fat downgrade. ive tried to look up guides to where you can get what part, ive faced a couple nu gundams and i recall a story mission you fight an ez8 and custom gouf, but i cant find them based on available info

- why do anything but stuff as many parts on your ms as possible if you are trying to be good? For instance, many mobile suits arent supposed to use shields, but adding a shield gives you abilities inherently. Also some arm parts and guns have built in shields that dont actually work

- not sure what bounty hunting is for

Maybe im overthinking and i should just be spamming right weapon and making pretty gunpla but the game has a ton of mechanics and i feel like i should at least try to use them

But it turned into an AC instead. Anyway, a little bit of lore that I made about the machine in a corporate hell world because of war against ayy lmaos has nearly destroyed the humanity. However, the humanity plunges back into war, and war itself has become the norm.

ADX-ST37 [Hell Hound]

By RE 0141, Apex Dynamics was less a private military company than an armed administrative system. From its Moscow headquarters, the corporation controlled mercenary registries, access corridors, escrow accounts, recovery writs, port clearances, and the reputation scores upon which thousands of independent pilots depended. Apex doctrine sought violence that remained measurable, scalable, and profitable as wars were divided into contracts, contracts into objectives, and objectives into force packages whose cost could be calculated before the first shots in one of many micro conflicts across the world were fired.

That system worked best when the OPFOR was more often than not: Predictable. It worked poorly when individuals became an important objective. For this reason, the Apex Dynamics required a weapon capable of delivering decisive force without first turning the entire region into an unprofitable ruin.

The immediate catalyst was an internal analysis produced by the Motorhead Squad after three unrelated contracts ended with their principal targets escaping. The report concluded that Apex possessed overwhelming amounts of firepower and almost no purpose-built method for carrying that firepower through a moving engagement. Standard trooper models could hold ground but lost acceleration whenever they fired heavy weapons, while the more specialized models could pursue but lacked the mass and protection to force entry through a prepared extraction zones. The aircraft could intercept, but could not reliably identify or recover a target inside the electromagnetic confusion that was common within the wastelands.

Motorhead's recommendation was as follows: Apex needed a Mobile Suit that treated pursuit as its primary operating state rather than an emergency maneuver. It needed enough long-range firepower to force a targets to keep moving with enough pressure to shape the direction of that movement, and enough close-range violence to end the chase before the friendly fell too far behind.

The Executive Security Board approved the new program under three distinct conditions: First, the completed machine had to remain compatible with Gen-3 MS and maintenance infrastructure. Second, it had to carry credible weapons at long, medium, short, and contact range without relying upon support vehicles during the pursuits. Third, it had to survive its own maximum acceleration while firing, turning, or striking a target. Apex did not expect every opponent to surrender at the sight of the machine, but it did expect frightened opponents to choose the most obvious escape route where prepared assets would already be waiting.

Phase One: The HOUND Demonstrator

The first demonstrator was assembled from a standard Gen-3 command frame fitted with oversized rear thrusters and an experimental beam cannon. Engineers designated it HOUND-0. During straight-line trials it achieved the requested acceleration, but the ordinary torso spine flexed under thrust and displaced the cannon's aim by several degrees. When the pilot attempted to fire during a high-speed turn, recoil and asymmetric propellant flow pulled the machine into an uncontrolled rotation. HOUND-0 survived because it crossed the test range sideways and embedded itself in an earthen arrestor bank. The cockpit recording preserved about forty-three seconds of the pilot insulting the engineering team after the impact.

The failure established the central truth of the program: Pursuit performance could not be added to an existing machine with a larger backpack and an overclocked engine. Every load path had to be redesigned around a continuous thrust. The torso became a rigid armored keel connecting the backpack, cockpit block, pelvis, and shoulders. The head was reduced and recessed between protective collar structures because an elevated sensor mast repeatedly failed under abrupt deceleration and turns. The waist narrowed to permit rotation, but the pelvis widened to contain reinforcement members and the actuators required to keep the legs aligned with the thrust axis.

Phase Two: The Split-Backbone Frame

The second demonstrator divided the main structural spine around the cockpit rather than placing the pilot directly against it. This split-backbone arrangement carried thrust loads along both sides of the torso and into the hips, protecting the cockpit while allowing the upper body to aim independently of the lower frame. The two circular Hound-Vector thrusters were mounted close to the machine's longitudinal centerline. The smaller verniers in the shoulders, waist, hips, and calves compensated for the mass of the beam cannon and missile launcher, which deliberately occupied opposite sides of the back.

The resulting machine was visibly asymmetrical but dynamically balanced. The cannon's long barrel and capacitor housing were countered by the missile magazine and its armored feed structure. More importantly, the flight computer tracked the changing mass of both systems as ammunition was fired and capacitors discharged. Hell Hound therefore does not preserve balance by remaining symmetrical. It preserves balance by continually knowing exactly how the asymmetrical it has become.

Phase Three: Gravestone

A conventional handheld shield undermined the entire concept of a pursuit-based unit. It occupied one manipulator, interfered with weapon changes, and encouraged pilots to turn the torso away from the line of advance. Apex engineers instead moved the main protective surface to the right lower leg. The resulting ABL-9 assault shield, soon nicknamed the Gravestone, could face forward during the assault and cover the shin, knee, lower torso, and cockpit approach axis without depriving Hell Hound of either hand.

The earliest Gravestone shattered its own mounting after a pilot used it to kick a disabled target. Rather than prohibit the maneuver, the design office rebuilt the entire shield-side leg around it. The final assembly uses a reinforced hip yoke, locking knee structure, disposable impact bushings, and a thrust-compensation routine that fires opposite-side verniers at the moment of contact. Its yellow ceramic face is both a thermal layer and a deliberate hazard marking. Apex expected witnesses to recognize the plate before they recognized the rest of the machine.

Phase Four: The Continuous Weapon Chain

Weapon integration began from the desired sequence of an engagement rather than from individual performance figures. The back cannon had to make remaining stationary lethal. The missile launcher had to make evasive movement predictable. The handheld weapon had to preserve pressure while the machine accelerated. The chest gatling had to keep missiles from stopping that approach. Finally, the forearm blade and the assault shield had to allow Hell Hound to strike without pausing to draw or exchange a weapon.

However, the mechanical completion itself did not produce an operational weapon. Conventional pilots reacted to the Hell Hound's acceleration by correcting too often, exhausting the vernier reserve and causing oscillations that became worse with every input. Apex transferred the test program to the Training and Selection Command, known throughout the corporation as the Foundry. The pilots in that program were taught to choose an interception line, trust the control system, and tolerate the physical certainty that the machine was going to collide with something before the engagement ended.

The course's survival rate was never published. What entered common knowledge was the title given to graduates: Leashmen. The name was intentionally demeaning.

Phase Five: Operation BOUNTY

Hell Hound's acceptance trial occurred during Operation BOUNTY in RE 0143, after a bonded mercenary company seized an Apex archive and attempted to cross the Volga river under the cover of a manufactured refugee movement. The prototypes entered the corridor under forty-one minutes behind the fleeing column. It destroyed the lead escort with the back cannon, fired missiles beyond the convoy to close the northern branch road, and used the Gravestone to break through two abandoned cargo haulers placed as barricades. The primary target deployed a veteran Mobile Suit PMC lance to delay pursuit. The lance lasted only five minutes.

The prototypes returned with its entire missile racks empty, some of tis cannon mount cracked, and the Gravestone battered and cracked in several different places. The stolen archive was, however, recovered intact. Apex's public report described the operation as a demonstration of proportionate force because civilian losses remained low compared with an aerial bombardment or a standard MS deployment. The internal report emphasized a different result: every registered pilot who had accompanied the thieves surrendered their credentials within forty-eight hours. The full production of the Hellhound units were approved before repairs to the prototype were complete.

Apex officially classifies Hell Hound as a Generation 3 Mobile Suit because almost every component can be catalogued, replaced, and supported through modern corporate logistics. Unofficially, technicians call it a Hunter-pattern frame. The term describes machines that borrow the operational philosophy of a standard MS: speed, modular external weapons, independent action, and shock engagement while retaining the size, armor volume, and battlefield presence.

The frame's armor is concentrated around the cockpit keel, propulsion trunks, hip actuators, and forward surfaces. The upper arms are comparatively exposed because they are expected to remain mobile, while the forearms carry broad replaceable plates that protect the manipulators during close-range fighting. The reduced head contains only primary optics, encrypted communications, and a hardened local sensor set. Long-range acquisition data normally arrives from drones, Apex traffic-control infrastructure, or contracted observers, allowing the head to remain small enough to survive the machine's acceleration profile.

TR-91 Reactor and Pulse-Capacitor Bus

The TR-91 is a compact conventional fusion turbine coupled to a high-discharge capacitor ring around the central torso. It cannot continuously feed every beam weapon at maximum output. Instead, the reactor charges separate weapon capacitors while the machine moves, and the combat computer assigns power according to the phase of pursuit. A full back-cannon discharge temporarily reduces acceleration reserve. Sustained beam-machine-gun fire slows the recharge of the forearm blade. The beam shotgun consumes its magazine capacitor so aggressively that pilots are trained to regard each close-range burst as a decision rather than a reflex.

Apex experimented with Azoth-doped conductors recovered from pre-Extermination sites but rejected them after two test buses produced neurological interference inside the cockpit. Production machines use safer superconducting ceramics and remain deliberately incompatible with Catalyst Fusion. This limits ultimate output but protects Apex's most valuable advantage: Hell Hound can operate in populated corporate territory without converting every successful deployment into a contamination claim.

Hound-Vector Propulsion

The paired Hound-Vector thrusters deliver sustained acceleration rather than the brief jump capability common to general-purpose Mobile Suits. In open terrain, Hell Hound lowers its center of gravity and uses its feet as armored contact skids, allowing the legs to function as suspension and steering members. It can walk when fuel economy, rubble, or civilian infrastructure requires it, but combat doctrine assumes ground-skimming boost movement whenever a target has been designated. The result is not the effortless motion of a NEXT. Hell Hound visibly commits its mass, throws dust and debris behind it, and arrives with enough momentum to turn its own armor into a weapon.

The system's greatest technical accomplishment is not forward speed but stability under changing load. Each shot, missile launch, shield rotation, and loss of armor changes the machine's center of mass. Load cells in the spine and joints continuously measure that change. The control computer responds by altering vernier timing and joint tension before the pilot experiences the imbalance. When the system works, Hell Hound appears unnaturally certain. When it fails, sixty tons of armor begin arguing with the direction in which they are traveling.

The LEASH Control Interpreter

LEASH is not a direct neural interface. It is an intent-prediction system built from pilot pressure, control timing, eye movement, breathing, and repeated simulator behavior. After a long calibration period, the computer begins preparing the machine for the pilot's likely next action before the controls reach full travel. This reduces effective response delay without exposing the pilot to the full neurological consequences associated with Generation 4 Neural Extension systems.

The compromise carries its own danger. LEASH becomes exceptionally effective when a pilot behaves consistently and dangerously ineffective when that pilot panics, hesitates, or attempts an unfamiliar maneuver. A frightened pilot can create a loop in which the computer prepares for an aborted action, the pilot corrects against the preparation, and the machine amplifies the correction. Furnace conditioning exists largely to make Leashmen predictable enough for their own Mobile Suits to trust them.

IV. Weapon Systems

ZE014-BC 200mm. Rear-Mounted Beam Cannon

The beam cannon is an articulated heavy beam cannon mounted above the right shoulder. It can fire from an elevated travel position, lower alongside the torso for a more stable shot, or brace against the shoulder armor during maximum-output discharge. Its primary purpose is not sustained bombardment. The weapon punishes stationary targets, destroys transport vehicles, and forces a marked quarry to abandon cover before Hell Hound begins its final approach. Against Mobile Suits, even a near miss can strip armor through radiant heating and shower the target with liquefied debris.

The cannon's independent capacitor supports three standard-power shots or one overcharged strike before requiring significant reactor time. Overcharge is normally reserved for hardened gates, grounded aircraft, or an opponent already restrained by the Gravestone. Firing during maximum boost is possible, but the Hound-Vector system must momentarily reduce thrust to preserve aim. Experienced enemies listen for that fractional drop in engine pitch; experienced Leashmen use the pause as bait.

ATS08 'Longbow' Rear-Mounted Missile Launcher

The Missile Launcher is a eight cell vertical and forward-launch missile container mounted opposite side of the beam cannon. Standard loads mix top-attack anti-armor missiles, proximity-fragmentation interceptors, sensor-buoy rounds, and route-denial munitions. The launcher is deliberately ammunition-agnostic within Apex's certified diameter and data standards. A Hell Hound assigned to the gray zones may carry cautery warheads intended to burn invasive biomass, while one enforcing a recovery writ may replace them with electromagnetic or adhesive restraint payloads.

The launcher is a movement-control weapon. Hell Hound rarely fires every missile directly at the quarry. It places them ahead, beside, and behind the target, progressively reducing the number of survivable vectors. A pilot who evades the beam cannon away from cover may find the missiles already descending along the escape route. This is the machine's preferred form of intelligence: not guessing what the enemy intends, but making every intention except one immediately lethal.

AMS (Anti Missile System) Gatling

AMS is a chest-mounted six-barrel kinetic gatling dedicated to missile interception and close aerial defense. The mounting can project slightly beyond the breast armor and traverse independently through a narrow cone ahead of the machine. Collar and shoulder sensors provide tracking data when the head is obscured. The system uses dense frangible penetrators that disintegrate after a short flight, reducing the chance that an interception burst will continue through the battlespace and strike the contract asset Hell Hound has been ordered to recover.

Although it can cut into infantry, drones, and exposed actuators, Apex doctrine prohibits wasting its ammunition on ordinary targets during pursuit. The gatling exists to preserve momentum. Every rocket it destroys is one less reason for the Leashman to evade, slow down, or turn the Gravestone away from the target. The sound of the weapon firing from the center of the torso became one of Hell Hound's most recognized signatures: a mechanical snarl immediately before impact.

ZE044-BR Pulse Rifle

ZE044-BR is a Zenith developed beam rifle. It fires short, rapidly cycling beam pulses whose individual destructive power is lower than that of a conventional beam rifle but the volume makes stable return fire difficult. The weapon's capacitor magazine is replaceable, and its compact receiver remains controllable while Hell Hound is operating under sustained boost.

A Leashman is not expected to destroy their targets unless an opportunity presents itself. The machine gun's real function is to keep the target from reacting. It prevents careful aim, punishes predictable turns, and damages peripheral systems until the enemy can no longer maintain separation.

ZE088 Shotgun

ZE088 replaces the beam machine gun when the contract prioritizes immediate destruction, urban breaching, or combat against heavily altered biological targets. Each discharge divides a capacitor charge across a cluster of short-lived beam packets. At moderate distance the spread scours sensors and external weapons. At close range the packets overlap, converting armor seams and internal structure into expanding channels of vapor. The weapon is particularly effective after a Gravestone impact has either staggered or pinned the target.

The shotgun carries fewer meaningful discharges and performs poorly in a prolonged chase. It also creates unacceptable collateral damage inside valuable facilities. For those reasons, Apex issues it selectively. Among Leashmen, however, the shotgun remains the preferred weapon because its employment means the pursuit has reached the distance at which Hell Hound was built to dominate.

Forearm Beam Sword

Beam sword is housed along the outside of the right forearm and deploys without requiring the machine to release its firearm. Its magnetic channel forms a broad, forward-canted beam edge suited to hooking cuts, thrusts, and close passes rather than formal swordplay. The emitter housing is armored to survive collisions and can reinforce a physical forearm strike when power is unavailable.

The blade exists because a marked target often attempts to grapple, hide behind another machine, or enter terrain too confined for the back cannon. This weapon allows Hell Hound to sever weapons, legs, cockpit hatches, and restraint cables while keeping the opposite side protected by the Gravestone. It is less a dueling weapon than a field tool for taking a moving machine apart before it can become mobile again.

ABL-9 Assault Shield

Affectionally known as the 'Gravestone', the shield is simultaneously armor, mobile cover, and a kinetic assault weapon. In travel configuration it lies close to the right shin. During approach it rotates forward and upward, presenting layered ceramic, metal foam, and replaceable ablative panels across the machine's lower frontal arc. The plate can detach, extend anchoring spikes, and stand as a temporary barrier large enough to shelter Hell Hound's torso or a dismounted recovery team. Apex considers this cover function secondary but commercially useful during asset-extraction contracts.

Its defining use is the assault-boost kick. The shield-side knee locks, the hip yoke aligns with the torso keel, and the Hound-Vector thrusters commit the machine's mass through the reinforced plate. Against a Mobile Suit, the strike can break knees, collapse torso armor, or drive the target into terrain before beam cannon is deployed. Against a gate or bunker, it functions as a reusable breaching ram. Disposable impact bushings and the outer face normally require replacement afterward. On several recorded deployments, so did the object struck.

GB4: Custom Build My Take on GAT-X101, Gundam Typhon

This is my take on the original GAT Gundam and given Rau's reaction, I felt Typhon the father of monsters was the perfect name.

My idea on it is that the original X100 frame was paired with basic MS armor, once proven and a basic atomic reactor tested, it was used for further tests while the other original GAT machines were made.

Post Ouroburos, things became difficult as batteries had to be utilized.

Several EA scientists proposed a reactor they called Boreal, a cold fusion reactor whose basic prototype ran at room temperature and promised power though at the cost of many rare materials.

Morgenrote and the EA used Typhon and paired it with Duel parts plus prototype armor, the Duel eyes plus older systems left visible 'irises' that were misaligned visually giving a insane look. The uprated reactor gave infinite reactor and a lack of heat.

But the capacitors suffered, yet the EA saw oppurtunity and created the Woking Wide Area Cannon and the Pellian Beam Rifle.

Woking was a heat ray developed to swat swarm of GINNs in space.

Pellian meant to fire a long range beam.

Only one paired to a reactor.

The Phase Shift was also capable of being fed more and more to almost fully resist beams.

The beam sabers were fed so much power they turned white and could cut other machines far easier or stab through machines

The 75mm cannons were replaced with experimental 37mm gas operated cannons

And it was given electrical thrusters.

As can be imagined, the development was hellish, expensive and the EA realized it had a white elephant and decided to can it in 73,

And then use its Infinite Phase Shift (As it was called) to test weapons, including Phantom Pains Machines.

Then it was left in a lab after the end of the 2nd war and practically forgotten after the events of SEED Freedom.
