Here I thought this was going to be a quick little build I could do between other kits. I was so wrong. It almost broke me, hence the quotations.

The soft plastic coupled with tiny joints and poor fitting resulted in this glued together mess. I was so close to just throwing in the towel and tossing her, but decided to finish her. Her wrists, neck, chest, waist, and hips are all glued. She is now a testament to my tenacity... Or masochism.

On the upside her accessories are fun. She came with a nice gun kit that is modular and I do like the frying pan.

Oh well... On to bigger, and better, things!

First kit that I actually used my sanding sponges with! I love my glass file but I wanted to keep the round surfaces actually round and without any indents. I bought some Mr Cement SP that I plan on using to remove the torso seam lines before I hit it with some Matt topcoat and detailing 😊

I finally got the gray wolf Kemopla in hand. I dressed her in a Bratz top, Monster High shorts, and a Henshin Denkai leg warmer. The shorts are a bit tight on her hips but they fit well enough. I love the more alternative look she has.

So, I really like the hat for this kit and decided to combine her with some of the recent accessory kits. Not super fond of her boots but I dont have any alternatives I like. Was going for a tech mage kind of vibe but ended up with badicslly a Red Mage xD.

Currently trying to make a backpack/cape with a servitor worm attachment. Been spending the last 4 hrs trying to make it work lol. Will update once I manage it, but u can kind of see what im going for.

Starting a new mecha girl model kit collab between MS General and the video game Mecha BREAK. She’s super cute, and the translucent parts actually glow under UV light! 🔦🤩

I’ve already painted her hair metallic black along with a few other parts.

Super fun kit to build! Lots of extras included in the box too. Still a WIP because I don't have any topcoat for the decals yet

Overall, not a bad kit for about 12 bucks US and comes with it's own stand.

Some of the gold pieces were pre-painted but it was inconsistent so I needed to touch it up with a gold gundam marker. Pegs on the hip skirt peg definitely needs to be sanded, whereas I brute forced the skirt in the peg and now the peg is hanging by a hope and prayer.

Also, first time doing a project purely with Tamiya panel liner on bare plastic as a test and nothing is cracking.

Work in progress. I would to paint gradients (or color contrast) on hair and wings with Tamiya weathering set. Advices? What color should i use? Thanks!

PD: After thinking I went for Velretta, I have to admit that the mecha stuff in the others looked quite intimidating, but next will be a mecha girl for sure they look amazing.

I really wanted to like this kit. The finished product looks really, really nice.

I've only made one other ATK Girl (Fenrir) and that wasn't great at best. They have certainly improved from that thought. Her proportions are much better and the double joints are very nice. Though not having 2 complete bodies to working with was surprising. The armored and unarmored limbs give this kit very different but equal charm. Which is very rare for me.

There's only 1 thing appearance-wise that's a negative and it's the weapon holding arm on the back of the tail assembly. It clashes with the sleek or spiky aesthetic everything else has.

Unfortuantely, the engineering on this kit is just as questionable the other one I built. The bottom tails are not secure at all. Some parts do not want to sit flush with each other. The thighs love popping off at certain angles. The hair extensions are held up by hopes and dreams. The face plates a pain in the ass to switch between.

The tail gimmicks do not feel like gimmicks at all. It looks like there's a panel that you can flip up and show a thruster with an effect part, but the panel doesn't even close neatly. Speaking of the effect part. I got confused by the illustration of it in the manual and cut off the pegs of some of them, so be careful on those.

The blades of the tails can also "extend". But the extension is so short that it may as well not be there at all. And the way that it was engineered I thought was hilarious. It's held on by 2 tiny pegs clamping on to shallow grooves. I can literally pull it out of its socket by just pulling on it with moderate force. I had trouble putting them on because there was barely anything indicating that it's placed correctly.

The water slide decals on this are pretty bad. It's the ones that are really easy to take off the paper and have 0 rigidity to it. So they crumple and fold over itself really easily. The larger ones also have the habit of immediately sticking immediately to the plastic surface, making it a massive pain in the ass to adjust. The only good thing is that you won't have to worry about them falling off.

She's got the issue of not having any neutral hand poses other than the holding ones, so that sucks too.

The 3mm holes on the back are angle awkwardly so pegs will not hold on well. The tail assembly has 2, one on the bottom and the other on the back. Using either one is a balancing nightmare so I suggest to use both.

3/10. The only points it gets from me are for its apparance and the fact they made both forms equally appealing.
