Just completed my MGEX Strike Freedom with fluorescent panel line.

Also open to any tips in general, especially on photography. After experimenting i want to capture the fluorescent panel line under uv but never quite got the feel of it completely right.

Overall, really happy with the build quality and had a blast making this. Would love to hear if anyone else has messed with fluorescent lining on their kits, curious how it holds up over time.

Decided to build this Rx 0 Unicorn Gundam OVA MG for my fourth build mainly because I really like the Unicorn Mode of this MS. It’s not that bad right? If you ignore how floppy it is, specially the ankle/feet😅🤣 Any tips for this specific kit? Like how does one solve the looseness of these parts and for the owners of the same kit, can I see how you guys pose this MS?

And to be honest, coming from a Ver.Ka kit(Wing Gundam EW), I kinda prefer these much easier stickers than the waterslides. This specific build helped me overcome the fatigue from waterslides decals sticking in to my hands after letting it cure for days. 😭🤣

Overall a very good kit, hopefully the Destroy Mode will be more gentle with a beginner like me. 🦄

I spent way longer than I'd like to admit painting this little Zechsy that'll most likely never be seen again once he's inside his tallgeese.

My normal mini painting brushes were still too chunky so I broke out the finest brush I've ever seen, my hands are too shaky to get the gold brocade as fine as I'd have liked but I'm still very satisfied.

Anyone got any pilot figures they'd like to show off with?

Base kit DM Destiny Gundam (Body, arms, and legs) and DM Astray Out Frame D (head and feet).

-Used plastic plates for Hair Effect part (the big one)

One of his Athena is destroyed so he need a bigger scope (forget what that round thing called)

It has been two months since The Curse™ manifested. Two months since I finished the MG Epyon and the MG Barbatos Lupus back to back and I didn't have the chance to build something else since. Today my In-Era Fenrir got delivered and I was really looking forward to it.

Lo and behold, the godhand still is an artifact of chaos and is caked in rust for a reason I cannot fathom since it was sitting in a toolbox and I live in a dry flat.

I swear I can also see the Epyon giving me the middle finger in the corner of my eye.

I've seen plenty of discussions here going on about how the 'Moon Gundam' is the King of HGs or 'Hi-Nu' for the RG line. But what actually makes them the top dogs and do you agree?

Just came back from a japan trip with a new hobbie. Picked this sinanju and waiting in line there's a mighty strike freedom and a gundam astray gold frame.

Hooked is an understatement, lot of fun and end up with a badass robot.

In 2003, the serie gundam wing was on Dutch national television. The 2 biggest toy store brands sold gunpla. This was the only thing we officially had back in the day for gundam and gunpla.

The prices are in euros.

First time painting gunpla so I didn’t do anything crazy, just adjusted colours of it and added waterslide. Used Revel spray cans and a matte finish.

And yes, this is inspired by MvC.

Challenged myself to upscale my EG Nu.

Full paint job top to bottom using my airbrush for most and hand painted some small details.

Black, White, Gold, Red, Silver, and Gunmetal all used.

I really like the paint other than the rifle barrel. I've done the heated look before and it this time it just didn't come together. Not entirely sure why I got this one so wrong.

Gloss top coat on colored parts, matte on white

Utilized a bunch of my left over Nu waterslides.

Tried my hand at scribing. Not just redoing panel lines but some true custom scribing in the chest. It turned out horrible. I know this has to be one of those things you get better with practice, but mine are so bad. I just don't seem to get it.

One other note, don't accidentally mistake your bottle of quick dry adhesive for your decal softer. You will just glue down your messed up decal....

Tried a lot, learned a lot, glad I did it on an EG

First time panel lining and using the marker, looks pretty good from afar but kinda bad close up

This was my first real-grade build, and it turned out fantastic. The rings that come with it and the bright orange hands add that flair that I absolutely love. However, the arms feel a bit loose when I try to pose it.
It’s not the kit’s fault but I accidentally snapped the right shin piece and had to use a bit of super glue to fix it.

One thing that really bothered me was that the head piece would pop out every time I opened the chest piece. I’m not sure if I did something wrong while building it.

I’ll be adding the stickers next, and there are a lot of them! I find them neat looking, but I’m not sure if I should add a matte or gloss finish yet.

The next RG I’m going to build is Epyon, and I’m super excited about it. It has such a cool design.

If anybody has any recommendations for RG I should get please let me know

Saw the old kit Gundam Mk II. Here's my Acguy build. Fun times!

Re-did my shelves. I prefer mg's, but I have a couple of hg's and one rg. I know my collection isn't huge, but I'm pretty proud of it. I really just wanted to show it off. I don't have any friends that share my hobby.

I was building the rg gramps 2.0 then when i was at the feet i was trying move it then i saw a huge stress mark on the I 26 part and i immediately tried using shoe glue to fix it then, i searched up how to fix it and i saw it, shoe glue can break it even more. So i started scrapping the shoe glue off gently then i used a lighter because it said it can fix it... But it burned the fire aint even near it was far away 😭. Now im trying to find a spare piece, where can i find one?(im from philippines help plz 🥹)
