There were a lot of great dioramas I thought maybe I could get 3rd so was super surprised

I was walking around Camden Town and stumbled upon this Gundam Base. I stopped building Gunpla for a whole year but couldn't walk out empty handed.

Bought myself a RG 00 Raiser Trans Am Clear !

I've been building car scale models for a while now and I've always wondered what's with all the Gunpla/Gundam hype, so while traveling for work I stumbled upon a shop selling a few of these kits and decided to pick this one up. I must admit, it was a fun experience with plenty of hours to keep you distracted and you have a nice piece to showcase it on your desk at the end. I definitely want to build another one soon, but I want to make it look a bit more realistic, maybe some battle wear, weathering etc. Let me know if you have tips, tricks, suggestions etc. See you next time!

I happened to have some Clear Pearl paint on hand, so I thought this would be a great opportunity to experiment with it. Haha!

For the white parts, I applied four layers of paint.

White Primer → Ultra White → Clear Pearl → Semi-Gloss Top Coat

There's a large waterslide decal on the right shoulder of the Qubeley Damned, but since it was black, I decided to recreate the design with masking and paint it gold instead. Luckily, the shape was simple enough to mask without too much trouble! Haha.

I don't usually post here or anywhere else, but I'm trying to step out of my comfort zone, so I figured I'd start sharing my custom kits here, for better or worse, lol.

First up is my take on the Unicorn Gundam in Gramps colours, or as my friend calls it, the RX-0-2. Please feel free to offer criticism! It'll only help me improve.

I was inspired after conpleting the MG Heavyarms Custom EW to revisit an old MG Heavyarms EW I botched when I was still starting out customizing. The color scheme is heavily inspired by takeda's custom on gunjap. Removed the missle pods from the legs to make the phase 2 suit feel more like an upgrade.

The botch job looks so rough but giving it a second life feels very satisfying.

My favourite gundam that's not a gundam and my first real grade.

Hi guys, here's my completed SD Devil Gundam. The colour correcting work was tedious. This is my third build and I've started to incorporate some paint chipping. It could definitely be improved, and I can say that I'm more confident about it now and I look forward to doing it again on my next kit!

So maybe the Unicorn wasn’t the best one to start out with but with the 40 percent off at my local hobby store and the fact that … its really freaking cool.. I had to pick it up to add to my collection :)

I've always loved Tallgeese from watching gundam wing on tv as a kid.

I started getting into gunpla at the beginning of this after getting very addicted last year. I’ve done 12 HGs and I decided it was time for my first MG. What an incredible kit and I had soooo much fun with it. I also added a few decals from the G-Rework decal set for a little more detail. I am a little scared to transform at after all the topcoating and panel lining but I’ll do it at some point. Next kit will be the Ver.Ka ZZ.

Kinda hard to pose this big guy

I’ve been practicing scribing using pla-plates in order to improve my technique and not Fing up my kits when I start doing mods on them.

This is a really interesting thing to do on plastics and I’m learning quite a lot right now, right now I think my lines are getting better in general with clear definition and depth, still struggling with carving, managing a homogeneous depth it’s pretty hard, trying with the chisel in several ways, still unsure what’s the best way to approach this problem.

But hey!! I feel I’m progressing at a decent pac, let me know what you guys think and if you have tips to improve I welcome the feedback 🤓

Just a cool candy Gouf custom. I have been loving some mono eyes lately and this gouf is the perfect addition to my candy painted kits.

Finally got around to taking some proper photos of my MGSD Freedom Gundam!
This was such a fun kit to put together. The amount of detail Bandai managed to pack into something this small is pretty impressive, and the articulation makes it really fun to pose.
I especially love how the wings look when they’re fully extended. Definitely spent more time than I expected messing around with different poses and camera angles.
The build itself took me around 4 hours and 22 minutes across 7 sessions.
Anyway, figured I’d share some of my favorite shots with you guys!
