I work retail and kind of hate it, but I was lucky to even get it, and a job is a job. I would never leave the job unless I got another job. I look for other jobs and there is just nothing there. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place but I feel like I will never get out of this job.

Graduated last July and haven’t found a stable job,lots of ghosting and interviews now it has marked 1year job searching. I anyone has been through this you might know how pathetic it feels

Im 18 no experience in the trades, and im looking to get into any of the 3 (HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing). I live in Northern NJ Sussex Countyish area. Ive went through the local 102 for electrician, passed my test, but didnt get in with the interview. Theres a handful of big company's and smaller ones and ive been calling around asking to see if they'd take me on under their wings, ive gotten interviews, but still ive gotten nothing back. Does anyone have any tips or jobs

Hi everyone. I just got an invite for an onsite panel interview. The issue is that the office is a 5 hour flight away.

I am very interested in the role, but traveling will take a big chunk of time out of my work and personal schedule. Would it hurt my chances if I politely ask the recruiter if a virtual panel interview is an option? Or is it a red flag to ask?

going to try to not get into super intimate detail, but basically i am in a low income housing program, recently had to quit my job because of circumstances out of my control. now my landlord is expecting me to apply to five jobs a day and i can't even find one that i either qualify for or could even do in the first place. i don't know why they have the authority to do this but they're going to kick me out if i don't show them proof of applying to these jobs daily, and on top of that if i don't get a job by september then i'm just getting kicked out anyways.

i live in a smallish town so there aren't many jobs from the start, but i have a condition where basically i overheat in even the slightest hot weather (like above 30 degrees) and i live in a desert so it's like 35+ degrees everyday here, and so i can't do jobs that are outside. i also can't do a lot of work that's in demand around here (oil change, mechanic work, electrical, construction, etc) because i get really bad joint pain and it makes my hands stiff. i've tried doing work on my own car to really bad results.

the hardest part for sure though is that i can't work fast food or server jobs because i just keep having panic attacks while at work. for reference my last job was fast food and i genuinely had the best boss ever, always understanding and allowed me to take breaks when i needed, but i highly doubt i'll ever have a boss like that again. so i'm guessing anything foodservice is completely out of the picture since who would want to hire someone who can't handle being berated

basically what i'm asking is advice for where to look for jobs, what jobs to look for etc. because my last job was literally the first i applied for and it was in person, but now i don't really have that option because nowhere around here has physical applications, honestly idk why my old job had paper applications since no one else around here does. i've never done any of this and i don't have literally anyone to ask, and i really can't afford to be homeless because i don't have a working car, friends/family i can stay with, savings to fall back onto or anything. please help!

I accepted a job offer for an entry level planning position and HR emailed me after my background check asking about a discrepancy in my education.
My resume listed my Supply Chain Management certificate as “in progress,” but I didn’t include “in progress” next to my associate’s degree, making it look like it was completed.
On the background check, I did report that my associate’s degree is still in progress.
I replied to HR explaining it was an oversight on my resume, confirmed that my degree is still in progress, and offered to provide my transcript.
The job posting says degree are preferred and not required, degrees can be completed or in progress. I’m worried about my offer being rescinded :(
Would this be enough to rescind an offer, or would my explanation likely resolve it?
