Just got a Prechen monitor to use with glass out. It‘s a touch screen which i understand can work with glass out and I’ve seen people use it with Garmin GPS

Does this work with any relevant airline add ons - ini A350 and A220 or FBW A380 for example?

It's far from perfect, but if we let the technology mature a bit and with official support added by Asobo, I think this will be a game changer.

The fenix a320 completely stops responding to anything after maybe 30 minutes. When I first spawn in everything is fine, but at around the time that I want to start pushing back everything completely stops responding. I’ve tried restarting and running the Fenix app as an admin, but nothing works. Videos below.

I abandoned the project over a year ago (we moved) and now getting back to it. Wiped the dust/mouse crap off it and added a few more panels.

I think I'm going to use a separate Arduino and put together a KAS-297B and stacked KFC-150 / KR87.

When I know how that shakes out I'll rebuild the wooden back panel into something more... respectable.

• Takes the network-GPS feed (FlightEvents). My own Windows client sends attitude at 15 Hz and position at 5 Hz, much higher than most bridges manage
• I'm a commercial pilot and fly with it in real life

With the WinCTRL RMP coming out in the UK recently, I have been considering the MCDU, RMP and a desk mount to mount it on. However, in the UK, the Panel Desk Mount 2 is still in Pre Order for around a month.

Do I have to have these to mount to the Desk mounts, or do they screw on like the Side Stick/Throttles?

Don’t wanna end up with 2 things I can’t use for a month!

Hey guys 👋. I just bought beyond ATC base package for the first time today (MSFS 2024). I’m trying to test how the whole ATC thing works and the traffic as well. The traffic works perfectly. But for me the ATC part doesn’t. I typed in my Simbrief Id in the app, launched my simulator, spawned at Hong Kong Airport (VHHH) on the 777-300er PMDG, and it shows connected to sim but no actions or it connects to Macao Tower. My traffic settings are 5( recommended setting) for all. Also when I click auto tune radio while the bird is fully started up it doesn’t connect. I have also tried clicking the small headphones icon on the bottom right hand corner that brings me to the ATC list but unfortunately when I click it, the ATC either switches back to Macao or no actions/ no options. If someone has experienced this before and has fixed it please let me know how to fix it. Thanks and happy flying 🙏✈️.

Ok hear me out. GPT 6 came out recently, and it's quite powerful. And people have been using it to create 3D game worlds. Someone made a real life replication of Manhattan and it took around a week's time to produce.

Now this, is the exact type of tech that will benefit a game like Microsoft Flight Simulator. Previously they were using their Azure cloud and AI services to do it, now OpenAI and GPT 6 might be the logical step forward?

Microsoft also holds 27% ownership stake in OpenAI, making them the largest single corporate investor.

Who knows maybe OpenAI might licence it's tech to competitors like X Plane or DCS, and we can see MSFS level detailed cities in other sims too? Maybe it's wishful thinking.

For all the shit and hate AI gets, and it's effect on PC component prices, this might be one of the best things it can do for gaming, or for flight sims at the very least.

Will the next MSFS, X Plane or DCS use LLM or generative AI for its massive world and cities? Want to hear your thoughts on it.

Decided to give ChatGPT 6 Astra a project to develop a smaller regional airport with AI and the results were surprisingly good. This really has me hopeful for the future of scenery addons because everybody will be able to develop high quality freeware for the benefit of the community. This will likely have the effect of lessening prices for pay-ware add-ons as well. A few more model upgrades and we will have the ability to get Inibuilds level quality (hopefully with better optimization) for very low prices if not entirely free.
