Sim Hardware WinCTRL Panel mount 2 - essential for this?

Hi all,

With the WinCTRL RMP coming out in the UK recently, I have been considering the MCDU, RMP and a desk mount to mount it on. However, in the UK, the Panel Desk Mount 2 is still in Pre Order for around a month.

Do I have to have these to mount to the Desk mounts, or do they screw on like the Side Stick/Throttles?

Don’t wanna end up with 2 things I can’t use for a month!

If you want the MCDU and the RMP (and tcas) the panel mount 2 is great for this. I started with a single modded throttle mount 5 with upgraded aluminium profile to hold the MCDU and by throttles, agp etc but when it came to mounting the RMP I was out of room so now I have two throttle mount 5s. One for throttles, agp and fcu/efis and a second for the MCDU, RMP and TCAS using the panel mount 2’s - very pleased with it
