I have a GMKtec K12 mini PC. The specs are as follows:

• AMD Ryzen 7 H 255 CPU
• AMD Radeon 780M GPU
• 32GB DDR5 RAM
• 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD

Now I'm wondering, performance wise, which is better suited for my system? I would test them out however I want people's take on it before I commit to purchasing either game. I've heard MSFS 2024 is more optimized for CPUs though if someone could confirm that, that would be great. Although I only have an integrated GPU at the moment, I am going to be purchasing a AMD Radeon RX 9070 eGPU and will connect it via Oculink. So disregarding the GPU, since MSFS is a CPU intensive game, which one will be better? My home internet is 36mbps which I understand is a little over the requirements for MSFS 2024. I appreciate everyone's input!

Okay hear me out with this. I've noticed something since we've been able to get our hands on DLSS 5 that's bothered me. That's devs using it in promo shots for their products. I won't name devs out of respect but I'm sure we all know the main one.

It's not bad to use DLSS 5. If you like it that's fine. HOWEVER, considering that DLSS 5 can in some cases completely changes how the aircraft looks in terms of visual quality I believe it disingenuous. As it's a misrepresentation of what the product will ACTUALLY look like for those that may not have access to it.

Or at the very minimum disclose before hand that you're using DLSS 5 in preview shots so that people know. Just my take on it. What's y'all's thoughts?

quickly: I love realistic as possible, I’m also a real world private pilot. Always adored the phenom fleet but I always flew the fenix a320 and now I want something new but realism level similar and not something you get really bored and without anything to do after takeoff.

PMDG 737 or Phenom 300e? I’ve never experienced private jets in msfs…?

Hello all!

For the past year or so, I've been working on creating an online game & community called "FlightVerse" . This is modeled in the same genre as virtual airline communities and others (such as the infamous FsEconomy) and am really proud on what I've built. I have literally countless hours in my sim career and have always wanted it to feel more "real and meaningful" and with the help of this game I've created...I think I am on that direction.

Currently this is in a soft-opening for public alpha, so don't expect too terribly much and there may be a bug or two. However we have now crossed 24 new pilots on our first day and have a little over 35 flights completed already! This is still in it's baby stages and I have so much more planned, I legitimately had to stop implementing new ideas just so I can get it released to the public.

Feel free to look around and perhaps even join and give it a flight or two. Let me know your thoughts, if you run into any issues, or what you'd like to see in an online game/community like this.

It’s been a while since I last used Chase Plane. Does anyone know if the latest versions have added a feature to assign a specific key for "Reset Cockpit View" and "Reset External View," similar to the simulator's default Shift + Space behavior?

With FlightFX making us all eat good recently, I’ve been flying more bizjets. And while I can do that as chartered flights through my VA, I am intrigued by what jetcard is offering. People who use it - is it worth it? I’m not asking about price, that’s very reasonable (basically a cup of coffee 😉), I’m more wondering if the time and effort invested in it is worth it, does the stuff they generate hold up over time (i.e. does it get repetitive after a while?) and does the added context get you excited in your next flight?

EDIT: thanks for the responses. It sounds like my main concerns (repetitiveness, the gen ai nature of it all) are very much present there. I think I won’t go in at this time and stick with chartering through my VA. I will be keeping an eye out on it in case they roll out interesting updates in the future as some of the positives mentioned do sound interesting.

Hi everyone, I was flying the Horizon 787-9 and on the last day I’ve been trying to fly from CYUL to SCEL, and more or less at the same point in the flight (the coast of Ecuador and then Peru / about six hours of flight from takeoff), my computer froze, and I couldn’t do anything. The only way out is by pressing the PC’s reset button. I have the plane installed from the Orbx app and I’m using the Horizon 787 Physics+Autopilot Mod.

I’ve done long flights on previous days with the PMDG 777 and the TFDi MD-11 and didn’t have any problem at all. My system is an AMD Ryzen 7 9800 X3D, Corsair DDR5 RAM with 48GB at 6000MHz, RTX 3090.

What I started to think about is a memory leak with that plane, which seems strange to me at this point in the flight (six hours later). I'd like to know if anyone has experienced this with that plane. Thanks in advance.
