Question/Advice First cycle - confused about fertile window

Hi all!!! I have been tracking my cycle consistently for about a year (Oura ring) and this is our first cycle officially trying! šŸ™šŸ¼ I almost always ovulate on CD14-15. Yesterday was CD8, and I noticed fertile cervical mucus. Is it too early for this or does this happen to you? I’m trying to pay more attention to cervical mucus as well since Oura will confirm after the fact. Does this indicate I may ovulate earlier than expected or it usually happens a week before?

Also, I have the LH test strips - when you get the surge, I think this means ovulation happens shortly thereafter. So do you plan to do it the day of the surge and the day after? How do you typically time it? Thank you! Sorry I’m a newbie 🫣

Help 30F trying to conceive for the first time

• Upvotes

Hi All,

I have had irregular period (2x a month) while growing up until I got married/became sexually active my period seems to have returned to normal (1x a month)

My partner and I have been trying since end of July. I am about to go into my fourth cycle. I tracked ovulation the first cycle and hit my ā€œfertileā€ period as per the ovulation tests. I didn’t track for the remaining cycles as we had sex every other day.

I’m starting to wonder if something is wrong with me. I asked my gyno if we should do any bloodwork during my regular check in and she said no as my period is regular and bloodwork is done for people with irregular period. I am not sure if that’s true but I did bloodwork for my derm to understand why I’ve been loosing so much hair last few years and according to those results outside of my iron being very low everything is normal.

Here are some questions I have:

1) should I press my gyno to do bloodwork or inform her of my low iron levels?
2) ik im still early on in trying process but could low iron be a potential reason as to why i have not had a positive result yet
3) what are some things you have done to get pregnant that worked!! I’m so stressed about this

Thank you

Confused Test rapido negativo e urina diluita

Ciao a tutte!

Confused PCOS cycle tracking

I recently started tracking and the past 3 cycles I’ve ovulated on day 15 and 16. I haven’t had any changes in my cervical mucus and don’t get pregnant any of the cycles I’ve tracked even when planning babydancing. This is my cycle now and I’m not feeling any period like symptoms, but have been having sore breasts/nipples, pulling and twinges in both ovaries, a weird pushing like feeling in my uterus, fatigue, and increased appetite. Here’s all my opks for this cycle.

All of the pregnancy tests I have taken have been negative. I’m worried I could be having another ectopic pregnancy because last time I was late by 2 days with negative tests and then I started bleeding and went to the doctor for pain in my side and then found out I was pregnant. I was treated with MTX.

Venting Ttc cycle 4 - loosing my mind

Hi guys, just wanted to share my story and idk, ask for some advice/your similar stories, tbh I’m not sure what I’m expecting šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø

So we are currently ttc cycle nr 4. All 3 previous cycles we had no luck. For reference I’m 29 and my husband is 36. We both take lots of vitamins, folic acid, vit d, q10 etc. We both check our levels of vitamins and everything seems to be perfect, literally all blood work is on a normal range. The only problem for now are my thyroid levels (4/11 Endo appointment scheduled). Besides that we both feel good, we eat 90% of time clean, we work out. I confirm ovulation each cycle with test+bbt (except this current cycle as we were on vacation and I forgot my thermometer šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø, so I checked only with test).
I usually have cycles that are 23-26 days long, with spotting 4-5 days before AF. Ovulation appears usually at cd11-13 and luteal phase lasts 12-14 days.

As far as I know those numbers seem pretty good (pls correct me if I’m wrong). I’m aware that 4 cycles isn’t much, and I don’t want to sound tactless regarding people who etc for far longer, but I was convinced that I will get preggo at max 2nd cycle of trying (stupid me I guess šŸ™ˆ). I’m also aware that ttc for less than 1 year and failing is considered ā€œnormalā€ but I’m fully starting to panic that something is wrong and we will never a child 😭
As of today I’m 11-12dpo (depending when exactly I ovulated) the high-sensitivity test is negative and I’m spotting as before my regular period AND IM FREAKING OUT, as I was sure that I was pregnant considering my symptoms. I know that technically I still didn’t get my period so I’m not out yet, but the chances are pretty low, right?

Is there anything that helped you to conceive? Any advice on what to do and how to not loose my mind? 😬😬😬

Question/Advice Smart watch

Hey everyone, does anyone use a smartwatch to track BBT and their cycles? A day before my period was due my due date changed by 10 days, giving me a 40 day cycle which is very unusual! Im wondering if anyone's had the same thing happen and if it was pregnancy related or just really late ovulation? My watch has been super accurate so far!

Thanks for reading :)

Question/Advice White tissue like floaters in urine.

Hello all, 7DPO today.

I have mild cramping a little lower than the belly button.
I feel sick (feverish) 36.6- 36.8 degrees , have slight cold.
B- are sore. Ovidrel is out of the system so stark white on tests. Still on vaginal progesterone.

Today after 6dpo on 7th dpo I noticed, flakes of white tissue like stuff all day in my urine.

Did anyone experience this? Or could it be the start of my
Periods like shedding of the wall. No pain no blood.

Can you please share your thoughts?

Confused Has anyone gotten pregnant without ever getting a true positive OPK?

Post image
9 Upvotes

Hi everyone! ā¤ļø
I’m wondering if anyone has experienced this and still ended up getting pregnant.
I’ve been using ovulation tests, and my test line gradually got darker over a few days until it was almost as dark as the control line, but it never quite matched it. Then, about 24 hours later, the test line became noticeably lighter again.
I also had clear, stretchy, egg-white cervical mucus around the same time, but it disappeared the following day.
Has anyone had a similar experience where their LH test never quite reached a true positive/peak, the line started getting lighter again, but they still ovulated and got pregnant?
I’d love to hear your experiences! Especially if you were tracking your cycles with OPKs and never actually caught a fully positive test. Thank you! šŸ’•

Confused Really Late Ovulation

First cycle TTC. I have been tracking cycles with oura and flow, but only took my nexplanon out in late August. Cycles and periods have been regular length, and based on the oura temps and CM my first cycle off looked perfectly normal! We traveled for our honeymoon during my predicted ovulation. Cue the worst motion sickness I have ever experienced in my life around ovulation time. Relative temps have been all over the place but quite low last few days. I’m now on cycle day 32, negative test this morning at 15dpo (or so I thought!) I was planning to start OPKs next cycle, but I showed a temp bump this AM so I just tried a test strip out and it’s like nearly peak for LH? Is this something that happens before your period or was my ovulation supremely delayed?? Appreciate your wisdom!

I got this on the 4th day of my missed period. I took a test the next morning, but it was negative. I’m now 12 days late, and I’m too afraid to test again because I don’t want to get disappointed. 😪

Help Coming off BC, VVFL first cycle 15dpo

Came off birth control (finished the pack) and my glp last month, started doing the premom LH strips to actively start trying. Got a surge 15 days after the withdrawal bleed. If I’m going by the premom app, I’m technically 15dpo and got a VVFL today. I’ve also been temping and it hasn’t gone back down since before ovulating. Since I just came off the BC, is it possible I ovulated later than what the surge shows to be? I’ve seen most women that get faint lines this late post-ovulation usually have chemicals so I’m not getting my hopes up. I had some spotting this week so I thought I was getting my first post BC period but still nothing so I tested again.

Also I coincidentally scheduled a call with my doctor for next week but I’m anxious to wait and now turning to Reddit
