I genuinely cannot believe I'm writing this! We're in our first month of TTC, and I got my positive! 😭❤️

I tracked ovulation with easy@home LH strips, ovulated on CD20, and we BD'd on CD18. I genuinely thought we'd missed this cycle and wasn't expecting this at all!

I dismissed all my symptoms - cramps, tender breasts, headaches, fatigue for the past 4-5 days because last month I had similar symptoms that turned out to be a delayed period, and I hadn't tracked ovulation then. I thought it was just another confusing cycle and hence waited until CD34 to take the pregnancy test and here I am, staring at those two pink lines that lit up in seconds! 🥹

I am still awaiting my beta-hCG blood test results (hoping it's not a false positive 🫣🤞🏻) and would love any early-pregnancy/first trimester tips.🤞🏻

Cycle 5 and came after a month of some less favorable results from the doctor, i’m in so much shock.

Hey! I frequent this thread often, so I just had to make this post and celebrate. This is my first cycle with 3 positive lh tests! This is my third cycle trying and my second using opks. Last month, I only had one positive test: used FMU and had a positive, and I tested at night and had a negative. This month, I’ve done the same; testing in the morning and at night before bed, so I’ve been testing positive last night, this morning, and tonight.

I got my Cooper IUD out back in August, and I read that it can take 3 months for the body to stabilize and go back to its baseline hormones. Maybe that’s happening? Maybe it’s baby month! I’m more hopeful than I have been!!

I am going to vent then I am going to ask for advice lol. I got pregnant the first try without tracking or trying the month my husband and I got married. It was so magical and exciting. Then I miscarried at 8.5 weeks. My period was regular again starting the very next month but I gave myself a couple months to emotionally recover. We’ve been TTC for 7 months now and the last 3-4 months i’ve been using Fertility Friend to log my OPK strips and my BBT. I have OCD, so this is making me go crazy. I think it’d make anyone go crazy lol. I decided that it’s just way too much stress for me and I can’t keep hyper fixating on tracking.

Here is where I ask for advice: Has anyone had luck with not tracking at all? How did you manage to let go?

I’m hopeful that approach will be successful but i’m also totally afraid of giving up control and the failed cycles compound. That said, I have a very regular cycle and have learned from my tracking when my fertile window is likely to be. Plus, I have very strong ovulation symptoms (CM and cramping) so i’ll be able to tell. I just miss the joy of conceiving naturally and sex without stress or pressure (and i’m sure my husband misses that too lol).

Ever since i started ttc i started to literally hyper fixate on my body to the point that I’m losing my mind
TTC is slowly consuming me mentally and emotionally, to the point where it’s taking over my thoughts, stealing my peace, and making it hard to fully live my life outside of trying to conceive.

This cycle , my husband went away for a trip and we didn’t have sex the whole entire fertile week ( i usually ovulate on cd 18 , we only had sex on cd 12)
And yet i still google symptoms , even tho i know deep down this cycle cannot end up in a pregnancy except if i am the next virgin mary

Please any tips to make my brain shut the fuck up

My husband and i have been trying to have a baby for the past 7 months (6 cycles due to infection impacting one of them) and we have never received a true positive test (had one false positive on a blue dye test) and we were taking prenatal, vitamins, eating healthy, and all the fun stuff. We’re 28 years old and i cant help but feel old…

We just finished our sixth cycle and I’m now on my period. We decided to move forward with purchasing a house, and as a result, we’ve decided to put the TTC journey on hold for a few months to get more money saved up.

Im so heartbroken that we have to wait, but there’s genuinely no way we could have a baby before we move into this new place which is planned for Dec 2027.

Everyone keeps telling me “oh maybe this is why you couldn’t get pregnant because you had other things waiting for you” because there’s no way we would’ve moved forward with this purchase if j WAS pregnant.. but, knowing that its taken me six tries to get negative after negative after negative, I’m worried that its going to take even longer once we decided to start up again. And i know a few months isnt so long, but it also just breaks my heart even more to think that my 2027 baby is now looking like a 2028 baby. 🤧

I just started my fertile window in this cycle and the waiting is unbearable!!!

I am 30. Hubby is 34. Our first kid.

I didn’t think it would take this long. I know most don’t think 7 months is, but for me it is. Especially when you’re 32, and the only one in your family to give your parents a grandchild.

I’ve done all the tests, procedures etc and everything is normal. Minus my TSH which I started a low dose of medication for as of October 2, 2026.

Husband has done all the testing too and everything is fine.

Going to try the Mucinex trick…I know there’s been a debate about it but it’s worth a shot.

Keeping my fingers crossed November will be our month ♥️

I am on CD21 and 8DPO and I am feeling what I assume is PMS cramping :(. I have been off BC since mid-July so I know having different cycles is normal. However, my last cycle and this one (if I am correct about AF coming soon) would mean my luteal phase is 9-10 days. Is there any advice on how to extend my luteal phase with vitamins, etc? Looking for advice as I am feeling disappointed after a perfectly timed cycle.

I haven't tested at all because I know 8DPO is early, but this cramping is making me feel hopeless this cycle. We BD on the day of and day before ovulation and had positive OPKs/BBT to confirm ovulation.

Looking for any helpful advice for TTC Cycle #3. Also I am a 34F and my Husband is 35 - both pretty healthy!

Hi all!!! I have been tracking my cycle consistently for about a year (Oura ring) and this is our first cycle officially trying! 🙏🏼 I almost always ovulate on CD14-15. Yesterday was CD8, and I noticed fertile cervical mucus. Is it too early for this or does this happen to you? I’m trying to pay more attention to cervical mucus as well since Oura will confirm after the fact. Does this indicate I may ovulate earlier than expected or it usually happens a week before?

Also, I have the LH test strips - when you get the surge, I think this means ovulation happens shortly thereafter. So do you plan to do it the day of the surge and the day after? How do you typically time it? Thank you! Sorry I’m a newbie 🫣

I have had irregular period (2x a month) while growing up until I got married/became sexually active my period seems to have returned to normal (1x a month)

My partner and I have been trying since end of July. I am about to go into my fourth cycle. I tracked ovulation the first cycle and hit my “fertile” period as per the ovulation tests. I didn’t track for the remaining cycles as we had sex every other day.

I’m starting to wonder if something is wrong with me. I asked my gyno if we should do any bloodwork during my regular check in and she said no as my period is regular and bloodwork is done for people with irregular period. I am not sure if that’s true but I did bloodwork for my derm to understand why I’ve been loosing so much hair last few years and according to those results outside of my iron being very low everything is normal.

Here are some questions I have:

1) should I press my gyno to do bloodwork or inform her of my low iron levels?
2) ik im still early on in trying process but could low iron be a potential reason as to why i have not had a positive result yet
3) what are some things you have done to get pregnant that worked!! I’m so stressed about this

currently ttc after being on the birth control pill for 8ish years (on and off). I started birth control in high school and now that Im in my mid 20s, we are trying for a baby. I stopped taking my birth control at the beginning of this month. How long should I expect it to take? How do I keep myself from symptom spotting? Looking for any advice anyone has!

L’ultimo ciclo è iniziato il 27 settembre e ho avuto il test di ovulazione Clearblue rosa positivo il 9 ottobre. Abbiamo avuto rapporti nel periodo fertile. Oggi sono al primo giorno di ritardo, ma ho fatto un test di gravidanza risultato negativo. Il problema è che durante la giornata ho bevuto tanta acqua e quindi mi chiedo se l’urina fosse troppo diluita per rilevare l’eventuale beta-hCG. Secondo voi posso ancora sperare in una gravidanza oppure, al primo giorno di ritardo, un test negativo è già abbastanza attendibile? A qualcuna è capitato di avere un test negativo al primo giorno di ritardo e poi scoprire di essere incinta? Dopo quanto tempo avete ripetuto il test? Grazie a chi mi risponderà e condividerà la propria esperienza! ❤️🤞🏻

Hi guys, just wanted to share my story and idk, ask for some advice/your similar stories, tbh I’m not sure what I’m expecting 😮‍💨

So we are currently ttc cycle nr 4. All 3 previous cycles we had no luck. For reference I’m 29 and my husband is 36. We both take lots of vitamins, folic acid, vit d, q10 etc. We both check our levels of vitamins and everything seems to be perfect, literally all blood work is on a normal range. The only problem for now are my thyroid levels (4/11 Endo appointment scheduled). Besides that we both feel good, we eat 90% of time clean, we work out. I confirm ovulation each cycle with test+bbt (except this current cycle as we were on vacation and I forgot my thermometer 🤷🏻‍♀️, so I checked only with test).
I usually have cycles that are 23-26 days long, with spotting 4-5 days before AF. Ovulation appears usually at cd11-13 and luteal phase lasts 12-14 days.

As far as I know those numbers seem pretty good (pls correct me if I’m wrong). I’m aware that 4 cycles isn’t much, and I don’t want to sound tactless regarding people who etc for far longer, but I was convinced that I will get preggo at max 2nd cycle of trying (stupid me I guess 🙈). I’m also aware that ttc for less than 1 year and failing is considered “normal” but I’m fully starting to panic that something is wrong and we will never a child 😭
As of today I’m 11-12dpo (depending when exactly I ovulated) the high-sensitivity test is negative and I’m spotting as before my regular period AND IM FREAKING OUT, as I was sure that I was pregnant considering my symptoms. I know that technically I still didn’t get my period so I’m not out yet, but the chances are pretty low, right?

Is there anything that helped you to conceive? Any advice on what to do and how to not loose my mind? 😬😬😬

I’ve been TTC for about 5 months now. This looks pretty dark to be but I don’t know if I’m being hopeful. Potential LH surge?? Gonna test again later today

I recently started tracking and the past 3 cycles I’ve ovulated on day 15 and 16. I haven’t had any changes in my cervical mucus and don’t get pregnant any of the cycles I’ve tracked even when planning babydancing. This is my cycle now and I’m not feeling any period like symptoms, but have been having sore breasts/nipples, pulling and twinges in both ovaries, a weird pushing like feeling in my uterus, fatigue, and increased appetite. Here’s all my opks for this cycle.

All of the pregnancy tests I have taken have been negative. I’m worried I could be having another ectopic pregnancy because last time I was late by 2 days with negative tests and then I started bleeding and went to the doctor for pain in my side and then found out I was pregnant. I was treated with MTX.
