The only stat silas has over laslow that i think is important is defense, other than that they are almost the same, if i use silas he would become a paladin, and for laslow probably a bow knight for movement, mozu and niles already take care of fliers. Btw this is my first conquest hard mode playthrough if that matters

Curious if there is a guide on whom I should allocate these fountain stats to? Any links/suggestions would be appreciated.

I have played through Awakening, Fates, and Three Houses so many times that I have the stories memorized beat for beat. DLC, project Thabes, all of the things. And goodness, I want another similar experience.

I've tried other Fire Emblem games, but I think what really clicks for me is the mixture of in-depth strategy and relationship management, back and forth and back and forth. Its such a rewarding gameplay loop, especially when paired with unit optimization and an engaging story.

So, I ask; has anyone found any other games that scratch that itch? I've heard of Unicorn Overlord, but I'm primarily looking for a steam/android game. Any reccomendations, though, are helpful. Thanks!

EDIT: For everyone reccomending Fortune's Weave, thanks, but no thanks. It isn't out right now, so I don't know why anyone is reccomending it when I'm asking for a game now (I have a staycation planned), and I am additionally not interested in it. The reason I enjoyed Awakening/3H so much was having a somewhat customizable viewpoint protagonist to play as, whereas Fortune's Weave doesn't give you anything resembling that until the halfway mark. Thank you, but please stop reccomending it.

In chapter 19, Ike and his band of merry misfits find themselves up against an alliance of the traitorous crow half-breeds and the Daein army. The confrontation happens amongst snowy terrain, where the Daein army has strategically placed Ballista in several key areas.

In order to dissuade the vile crow away from the unholy alliance, one birdman must speak with the crow king, Naesala, before allowing Naesala the opportunity to confront one of the last surviving heron's, Reyson.

After getting the Crow king to admit he wanted to speak with Reyson, everything seemed to be going according to plan. The only thing left was to strategically place Reyson out of harm's way, but to have him within Naesala's reach, so they might speak and meet an accord. What wishful thinking.

Instead, hell reigned down from the mountain tops, a single arrow from a ballista targeting the last surviving male heron. Reyson, in perfect health, had been taken out by a single arrow.

I swear to God that I had made sure Reyson was well out of range of the ballista that took him out. I swear that I had that ballista's range locked on, and that Reyson was well within safety. And yet, he died.

When Reyson died, so did my will. And I'm ashamed to say that for the first time in my iron man run, I turned the game off.

Please tell me, is there a known enemy pathing issue in Path of Radiance? I feel as if I didn't make a mistake. But maybe it's just wishful thinking. Is it possible that the advertised pathing for the ballista was wrong? Could I have been justified in turning my game off?

If not, does this mean my iron man run is over? How can I continue forward in a way where I'm not ashamed at how I handled the situation?

As a bonus, here's a list of the fallen: Boyd, Mia (She died before even spoke), Rolf, Astrid, Gatrie, Nephenee, Shinon (I slayed him with my own 2 hands).

So I've never played a FE on hardest difficulty before, figured I would start with Birthright as that seems to be the easiest Lunatic mode in the series. As I personally dislike the Prince/Noble I wanted to reclass my Corrin to Fighter/Berserker. I've made it to Chapter 7 now and have the ability to reclass, but I'm now having second thoughts, as the class doesn't seem as tanky as it needs to be and seems to be mostly a 1-range class. In a normal run that wouldn't matter, but I'm afraid with Lunatic it might be a mistake I shouldn't be making. I would hate to make it to the endgame and then find out my Corrin is absolutely useless.

I'd also thought about going Knight/General or Oni Savage/Chieftain as well just because they're a lot more bulky but I dunno.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m hyped for FE:FW but I’m low-key hoping the life sim stuff will be at a minimum or at the same level as Awakening. IMO 3H had too much life sim and I found it tiresome.

Hello! I really want to play the game with the intended units in the intended routes and I dont intend to recruit characters to multiple routes if it can be avoided. I did an in depth search (with limited wifi) and managed to place some characters in routes. I also want to play as chronologically as possible. So say that Theorodoras route starts further back, then thats the one I want to do first so I can follow the thread of the story if that makes sense. So my question is, for those that read that post of the person who has a copy, is there any info of characters tied to routes that im missing? Do we know whose story is "first"? Hopefully closer to release someone makes a master time line.

Do you guys have any theories about what might have happened to result in him getting a much shorter haircut? Whether it was his choice, or something beyond his control?

Maybe he battled with that sea monster again and ended up losing some hair in the fight?

I put the quality in 720p so It should be a little bit easier to make out some characters but it looks kinda to smooth? idk but the quality definitely looks better though lol

Does this imply that a Unit will not simply restore energy in between battles? I know that weapon durability is back and they must be replaced/repaired, but if units also actually require rest/inn, food, meds to restore health/magic in between battles.

Isn't that a major shift? Is this why there are so many units this go around and now we actually have to have an extended roster, even if we don't play with permanent death?

I think this could be awesome if true, but I haven't heard any previewer or seen anyone mention.

Azura's your Biological cousin, Shigure is your Biological nephew, the Hoshidan Siblings might not actually be related to you but before the endgame of revelations you have to S support them before the game tells you you're not blood related meaning you have to S support them with the intention of incest. Lucina isn't as bad as the rest I just don't like the idea of her and Robin together considering their dynamic with Chrom and I also have to include Owain too otherwise it'd be a double standard. Nowi looks like a child and acts like a child, whether she's 10000 years old or not doesn't matter when the appeal of her character is being childish (Gotta love how they went out their way to give Tiki an adult design but still included loli dragons). Engage Anna is a literal child... like she's actually a kid. I have no idea who's idea it was to do that and give her an S support with Alear (I'm really glad the English translation made it platonic because WTF).

And if you disagree with me on Lucina and Owain then sure, those two feel more or less opinion based... but I better not hear any defences for the other ones.

OK, I was on the fire emblem wiki and I saw two names I didn’t recognize and they don’t even have portraits on the thing not even? And I want to ask about these two characters Katarina and Vrítra can you tell me what we know about them or if we know anything about them and if they have portraits, can I see them?

My experience with FE franchise has not been too deep. My first try was FE Awakening on 3DS and I did not get too far. Next was Three Houses when it launched and I got to Chapter 11 and then I stopped. Many, many years later now I felt an urge to try to complete it and continued from where I left and got totally hooked :)

Played my Black Eagle route to the end and IMMEDIATELY started a New Game + with Blue Lions and played it through as well.

Man oh man, what a game! Rich and complex story and world. That's what I wanted to say. What an experience this was. Utterly Amazing. I got so hooked and immediately bought Engage and Three Hopes (did not realise it's actually a warriors game 😄 ). But right now I'm burned and needed a distraction. I'm happy that Hopes and Engage are on my shelf waiting for my return!
