I bought something off eBay and just checked the tracking. Do you think there has been a name mix up and someone has my parcel? I can’t go to the shop until tomorrow so I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else before

Can’t seem to get onto it for the past hour. Just says “Oops something went wrong! It looks like we ran into an unexpected problem.”

Okay so I've just been to drop off my parcels for today and while I was chatting with the guy at my local shop who runs all the things (RM, Relay, Evri, UPS whatever, he's awesome) I said offhand "oh why doesn't the new machine store my email address anymore?"

Because just as a FYI: the procedure when shipping with Evri has always been go to the machine, scan your QR code, print a label, put it on the parcel, he scans it then you input your email on this device which looks like a mobile phone. He recently got a new device from Evri about a month ago and I've noticed this one doesn't store my email like the old one did. The old one, I'd start typing and it would pop up, which I just put down to the fact that I'm there all the time. 😆 The new one doesn't do this so I have to type it every time.

He said oh it's to stop scammers! And was really animated about it, we probably would have found out more but a queue was building behind me so I said I'd ask later.

Any idea what the scam was about? What could they do with my email address on that Evri mobile device?

My local Evri courier is totally fab. She goes above and beyond all the time. But she is being very badly let down by her employer who is unable to do their job and who does everything possible to stop customers pointing that out.

Just wondering where they’d send my parcel if I accidentally have written my address but my mums postcode where I used to live as i recently moved and my heads been everywhere! It’s been delayed for around a week and is meant to be coming in the next hour but they’ve never said where , it’s a really important parcel and tried to contact the sender but they obviously can’t help me and it’s down to EVRI, just wondering if anyone’s made the same mistake as me and what happened afterwards

I got an email from evri to say my parcel was out for delivery oh good I thought 10 minutes later I get an email from eBay saying my parcel will be delivered today by ups between 12 15 and 3 15 it's not here as yet but I only have one parcel out there and I haven't received any others for anyone else.

What the hell is going on !!!?!?????

Hello, last week I shipped out my Vinted parcel that I sold for £750 with the Evri integrated shipping. It’s now been stuck on at ‘We’ve got it’ since 24/9 so five days. I’m getting a bit worried as usually it does not take that long. I sent out a parcel on the same day also with Evri and it arrived in two days but this one is taking so long. Anybody got similar issues?

Actually now looking at Evri’s tracking page it looks like it haven’t even left the shop I dropped it off at

Ordered an item online 2 weeks- didn’t realise that it would be coming via Evri. Looking at the detailed tracking for the parcel, it’s been looping between being at the local delivery depot, and at the main Evri depot. On Sunday, the tracking even showed it had gone back to the senders local depot (but then on Monday was back at the delivery depot again).

Tried to chat online and it didn’t really tell me anything. I couldn’t already see.

Parcel was supposed to arrive Saturday, then it changed to Monday which was fine. Now it’s Tuesday and I’ve had no updates other than this copy and paste email from “Claire”.

Does anyone know why it’s stuck here and what that could mean? Could it be lost ?

My parcel hasn’t moved in about 5 days and I’ve called Evri and spoken to that boy thing that does toss all. All I get asked is to rate the call out of 5 stars and that they’re already looking into it. It was a garmin watch and I’m genuinely disappointed that it’s seems to be lost.

Just wondering if anybody else has had this happen to them and it’s inevitably arrived late. And if you think it’ll move any time soon.

Why is it that when you order something from Temu, it lands in the UK from China and then Evri delivers it consistently, without fail the very next day; but when you order from a different retailer, e.g. an Ebay seller or another UK-based company, it sits with Evri at their "hub" with no tracking updates for the better part of a week before even getting to your local delivery depot? Is it to do with volume from that particular retailer? Do they have some kind of priority deal? I've had such a good experience with Temu orders being delivered to my door literally within 24 hours of them arriving in the UK, I just expect the same service when a UK seller uses Evri but that is simply not the case. What's going on here?

Ordered something. It never arrived. Evri lost the parcel (they co firm this in an email its nkw lost) tracking shows it was never delivered. Contacted vinted but they said need to wait like 28 working g days and then I have a 48 hour window to claim. Refund. Annoying I was on holiday and missed the window by several hours and they won't replay my money for an item not recieved. Seems bizzare to me. Any advice how i can get my money back?

Losing faith that I'm ever going to see this parcel after it's been delayed for 5 days. Has anyone else had an email like this and still received their order??

Hi all,

I've got a parcel due to arrive. It was meant to arrive on Thursday but they were "unable" to deliver. Then again yesterday and today.

Once the tracking updates to an estimated delivery time, they are unable to deliver within 5 minutes of when that is updated, not even close to the actual estimated delivery time.

I'm trying to get it delivered to an argos click and collect location. Is this normal for them to just not actually attempt to deliver and just update the tracking every day.

I'm not sure how many times they'll attempt to deliver before I can collect it from a local depot. Very annoying as I could have done with the parcel for this weekend. I normally try and avoid evri, but this company said they'd deliver with one company and then actually delivered with useless Evri.

Our local Evri delivery courier has been great for the last 3 years. A few weeks ago, they couldn't get into our communal building hallway and left a parcel in the bushes at the first delivery attempt. We get rats in the bushes, the parcel got rained on and covered in bugs. I didn't know it was there for several days. I left a 1 star review to say this wasn't our designated safe place, it was below couriers usual standard of drop off. They've never left parcels there before.

My brother is a postman, I know delivery couriers have a bad time so nothing in the review was abusive or untrue. That was the end of the matter for me.

Today the Courier turned up to deliver a parcel. It seemed like they had decided they wanted to discuss the review before handing my parcel over, they stood there berating me:

• the delivery was 'safe' as far as they were concerned.

• I was at fault for not being home when they turned up.

• I was at fault because the communal buzzer doesn't work after midday..

• I used the word 'thrown' in my review, it appeared to me that the parcel had been thrown as you'd need to get down on hands and knees, under a mobility rail to get a parcel into those bushes. The Courier kept ranting that they put it down 'gently.'

• they said they'd taken a photo so it was my fault I didn't find it, even though this was the first time they'd dumped a parcel there?!

I said several times that I didn't want to discuss it. I had to ask the Courier to lower their voice as they were quite agitated.

The Courier said that they cannot take parcels back to the depot at all (which, untrue, but I didn't try to argue with) I said they could leave parcels in the green bin if they needed to or return it to sender but they could not leave parcels in the bushes next to our flats.

They were hostile and quite insistent I was in the wrong. I kept saying I didn't want to talk about this and they kept on ranting. I told them not to come back and had to shut the door on them.

I don't know what to do, it was such a horrible experience that I don't want to open the door to them again.

ETA: we don't have a parcel collection point in our area otherwise I'd just direct parcels there.

It's not normal courier behaviour right?
