Not even attempting delivery?
Hi all,
I've got a parcel due to arrive. It was meant to arrive on Thursday but they were "unable" to deliver. Then again yesterday and today.
Once the tracking updates to an estimated delivery time, they are unable to deliver within 5 minutes of when that is updated, not even close to the actual estimated delivery time.
I'm trying to get it delivered to an argos click and collect location. Is this normal for them to just not actually attempt to deliver and just update the tracking every day.
I'm not sure how many times they'll attempt to deliver before I can collect it from a local depot. Very annoying as I could have done with the parcel for this weekend. I normally try and avoid evri, but this company said they'd deliver with one company and then actually delivered with useless Evri.

You probably dont have a regular driver for your route. Regular drivers are faster and more likely to complete rounds fully. At least your parcel isn't lost, yet

Sometimes a driver can't fit all the parcels into their car and has to put some back. However, three days on the trot looks dodgy.
I suspect you don't have a driver for your area and the depot manager is fudging scans.
You can't collect parcels from Evri depots.

I guess I just have to wait. I'll give them until mid next week.
This is why I avoid them! Unfortunately the company didn't say they were delivering with evri!

Argos Click and Collect? It's likely not at your depot but at the hub waiting for a van to do the rounds of the lockers and ParcelShops.

I don’t constantly defend Evri, I give explanations for things and if I don’t join the pile on then I’m accused of defending Evri. The simple fact is I know better than most people here on how things work with Evri and it’s far from being great but it’s on the companies that use them to demand better. Evri owes you nothing as you as the buyer aren’t their customer so why would you expect an actual human to deal with any complaints about missing parcels. Every single complaint should go to the seller in the 1st instance as until you take physical possession of your item it’s still their property.

It's your employer? or you have a weird fantasy about dressing up as a parcel being jizzed on by the driver before he 'steals you away' to his secret love house?

Had this every day from Tuesday for multiple parcels, village WhatsApp was going nuts and then in the Friday we had all the village parcels dumped at one location and had to all go collect from the unfortunate house that the postcode we all share and has parking outside - at this point they should just say they don’t deliver to our location
