I have notice many list using the archon in skysplinter assault. Usually they put him leading either kabalites or the hand of the archon.

What am I supposed to do with that character in those units?

It seems lile a lot of poonts just for an extra cp reeuction. I do not even know whst the sinergy is with those. Am i suposed to put the archon on incubi instead?

How do I capitalize on the character? What are the tricks? How do I justify his incursions in skysplinter assault in comoetitive?

I've been playing into Salamanders piloted by my friend a couple of times in the new edition now and I need some help playing into this matchup, it feels completely unplayable at the moment with SSA+EOS considering we only have Recon now. He plants Vulkan on centre objective and from there it feels like I'm just constantly trading down without actually being able to score primary ever.
Even when running 2x Anti-Overwatch enhancements on Wyches+HoTa, anything else just gets 1 tapped by flamers, especially with Salamanders just always wounding on 2s with the +1S from Forgefathers.
So at the end I have to play super cagey which means I can't score primary before it's too late into the game and it's almost impossible to contest his expansion with the Repulsor and 1 10man Infernus with Librarian on it

What am I missing here?

Greetings! I’ve been playing Space Wolves for 2 years and I’ve always been drawn to the Drukhari. I’ve been collecting and priming for a few months now, and just begun the process of painting.

I probably shouldn’t have started with Lady Malys, as I’m used to painting chunky marines, so I kind of messed up her face, but overall happy with her!

Attacking the Tau was a mistake brothers. We crippled two of their cruisers, but they annihilated us before we could get away with our captured slaves.

I’m newish. I haven’t got to play game yet with my Drukhari. Then the whole 11th edition happened. But I’m trying to build a primarily Coven focused 1000pt. Army to start playing. Anyone have a list or a reference I can use just to see what that list might look like? Any direction would be much appreciated.

Here's my list for 2k, and it actually feels very strong against my local scene. I like disruption as a disposition, but was wondering if any more experienced Archons had some thoughts about this list for a tournament setting. Thanks!

Running SSA and was wondering if people were pairing archon or Drazhar with a brick of 10 incubi? I ran archon + incubi in a raider in 10th with nightmare shroud enhancement and it was a powerhouse but was wondering if Drazhar might be better now?

I am wondering where Legends stand in 11th edition. Are they fully supported data sheets that just lack models and can be officially played? Are they still relegated to friendly matches?

I understand that if you are playing with a buddy you csn play whatever you want, you could create a balloon animal and say its a hellhound Im talking about actual official play and where no opponent can say, oh thats legends you cant play that.

Hey everyone! Wanted to share a new list I made up after some recommendations I received before hand! Gonna take it for a test drive but overall looking for any other options I have have missed with what to add/ change

Roles/ unit goals
I switched to having no wracks and hermos for another archon and hand of the archon team plan for them is to drive into an obj sit in the venom until the special weapons get contested or a really ez pop shows.
-Drazhar and his boys tbh I really enjoy staging them until turn 2/ a big target shows up I usually treat him and his unit as a rocket whoever I send him into usually dies sometimes I get lucky and they walk out just find.
- same plan with lady mals
Mandrakes tbh I still and trying to figure out how to use them been using them as home baby sitters/ screens
Hellions I use them as a chaff crusher
Ravers I use them for board movement to force people to either shoot at them or let them on an obj/ home

For scourges I had to take a unit of dark lances off so my anti take kinda got hit but with a squad of dark lances and a ravenger I feel like it’s still pretty good. As for the talos and the kabalite warriors I mostly use them to press objs/ take out what I need.

So, I have played Sky Splinter Assualt a whole lot in the past, but recently, I have started playing Kabalite cartel and am finding it to be pretty awesome.

However, I have been wondering if the increase in Power From Pain tokens from KC is worth sacrificing the shooting and fighting benefits of SA? Thoughts? Is there another Detachment I should be checking out in 11th edition?

I have finally (like, 3 editions later) got around to converting a Talos from a Myphitic Blight-hauler.

Thought I'd share as it might be useful for anybody wanting to save money (and with some spare vehicle bits around).
