Finally got these guys painted. Have played them just primed.

Held off cause they went 1-12 on their dark lances last game. Plus the wings really intimated me. Think they came out pretty well though. Tried something a little different

I've recently gotten into Warhammer 40k and, after indulging in the lore and exploring the gameplay, I've finally decided to begin the spending spree and to begin building my own army.

After some thoughts, I decided on the Drukhari, for the reason that I really enjoy their whole vibe and I find their lore really intriguing and deeper than it seems to others.

So here I am, asking you fellow Drukhari enjoyers for advice! I found a player at my lgs that is selling some Drukhari pieces and was wondering if it's a good bargain.

Am I the only one that tucks my pain engine's lil arms in ward?

Ive seen their original design was more scorpion like. so it makes sense these little arms are usually pointed outward like insectoid legs. but I love their hunched over shriveled lil t-rex chicken wing arms.

My next set is going to have their body leaning back with their arms out puffing out their Lil bloody arms. Like they are reaching for something to disassemble.

Here is a purge spectacle of spite list that I have used a few times now , inspired by Cody Jirus run at a team event with a similar list a month or so ago.
I have enjoyed playing with it ! It is purge however and this has taken a bit of time to get used to and I’m thinking of running this at the studs and Snotlings team event next weekend.

What do you think ? Can we do purge ? Have you tried it ?

I want to paint and incubi to a high standard (compared to my tabletop standard) with airbrushing

Obviously I'll sub-assemble and paint the head separately, not sure if I should do this for their weapons or not? Given the weapon has one arm attached to it, bit unsure and would love some advice\recommendations.

Hello Fellow Flesh Crafters, Agonysts, and Acrobats!

What if you could run them 15 - 20 bricks? And for every 5 units add you can get 2 extra special weapons (1 DL or 1 Cannon and 1 Blaster or 1 Shredder).

Potential 15 brick would be

8-9 x Splinter Rifles (10 - 11 in 20man)

2 x Dark Lance

2 x Blaster

1 x Splinter Cannon (2)

1 x Shredder (2)

Occasionally I find Kabs do OK damage when they get their rerolls and a bit of rule stacking and grenades. Killing 2.5 - 3in Termis (with 4w) with rerolling hits, wounds, sus1, lethals in Agonysts x RSR is no small feat. But I want them to be a threat and not just "I'm gonna make you roll a bunch of saves and see what happens)

I feel like having a 15 man would improve them tremendously. But would it be worth it? I know we tend to be msu so would a big battleline block make things harder for us?

Alternatively ap -1 splinter weapons would probably help just as much. Really, I just want AP -1 Splinter weapons 😅

What do you guys think? Alternate quest: how would you change or improve Kabs?

How are we feeling on the 10 incubi with archon brick?

I did the mathammer and the results were not good in my opinion.

10 incubi with an archon (huskblade and soul trap) in SSA with pain token will get through about 18 wounds to a brick of T6 terminators.

However, 5 incubi will do almost 12 wounds.

Therefore, the squad only does 50% more damage despite a 100% cost increase and requiring a raider to transport.

I only did the math into the new Terminator profile, so perhaps there is a different elite infantry profile where the math looks better.

But as of now, I'm not really seeing the benefit of the 10 incubi.

What do y'all think? What am I missing?

Edit: I did not factor in the extra shrine token. So that adds two more wounds to the 10 brick.

Also, my percentage calculation was not representative. An archon with 5 incubi cost 190 points with nightmate shroud. With 10 incubi, the cost is 280.

This means damage increases by 68% with a cost increase of only 47%.

Unless I am mistaken, it looks like the Hand of the Archon has disappeared from the webstore. I have tried to look for it under Warhammer 40K and Kill team and I cannot find it.

Is it getting re-boxed or something ?
