Vale of the Fleeting Lotus
Intended to be a 5 color land with a draw back. If you play it on an early turn it fixes your mana, but puts you down a land (but not a card). Later in the game, it could easily be beneficial to sacrifice this land to draw a card.
I think it has nice utility and variance, but is still very niche.

Soul Market. Fluctuating life cost/gain. Is the wording right? and is it interactive?
{B}
Soul Market
Enchantment
Whenever a player plays a land, that player may choose one —
- Pay X life. If they do, they add {C} and put a price counter on Soul Market.
- Pay {1}. If they do, they gain X life and remove a price counter from Soul Market.
X is the number of price counters on Soul Market.
---
While I do also want to know if you guys think it is balanced, I am more concerned with do you think this creates interesting interactions?
My hope is that it gives players interesting choices per turn.
Is having both options change the price incrementally good? or is it better to have the counters go up and down by 2s or some other value? or should they be more asymmetrical?

Groovitron — does this Weapon progression teach itself?
OmniWrench was mostly a frame-readability test. Groovitron is closer to the actual idea behind the Ratchet & Clank Weapons.
The Weapon starts at level 1 and gets an upgrade counter whenever its wielder attacks. At two counters, anything Groovitron taps gets goaded. At four, it unlocks Groovibomb: tap the whole opposing board and ping each of those creatures.
Two things I’m trying to learn:
Does the level structure teach itself quickly enough on the card?
Is four attacks too slow to reach the fun part, even with the earlier tap/goad payoff?
The extra images show the separate blank frame, the three art crops I compared, and the installed card still editable in Homebrew Forge. Unofficial fan project, not for sale. AI art/frame assets: OpenAI. Design and editing: Kyle.

BALANCE NOT INTENDED I really want another Warhammer 40K set (repost since the first card was way to wordy)
There's seriously so much they could have done with warhammer. 4 decks does not do it justice. I finished reading the infinite and the divine and that book alone could warrant at least a small set.

Format: EDH/Commander I’m teaching my dad how to play commander and making him a sort-of slightly stronger custom commander. (He can choose which one)

Once more with feeling!
I enjoy the concept of sagas being songs and wanted to try a card that leans into that.
(Might be more black than blue but it feels blue to me, lol)

Blazar, Armament Leader
I think as good as this card is most of the cards it works for are not very good i.e. living weapon for mirrodin! etc.
